ALL persons wishing to volunteer at Christ the
King Church or Christ the King School MUST

Safe Environment Program.

Environment retraining options as well as details of specific Safe Environment events.
Please remember that all volunteers must renew
training annually.
“Family of Faith Meetings” are held the
2nd Monday of the month. 2015 dates
are: 2/9; 3/9; 4/13. Please register on line

ALTAR SERVER TRAINING will be held SUNDAY,
FEBRUARY 15 for all young people through and including high school age at 3:00 p.m. in the church.
Servers must be REGISTERED members of Christ the
King Parish and must have received their first holy
communion. This is a parish-wide endeavor not limited
to CTK students, but to all young people of our parish.

Opus 42 News
As of last weekend, we’re up to seventeen playable stops
(sounds). All of the 8’ flues are playable on the Recit
(swell) and the Grand Orgue (great). In the pedal, the 16’
Bourdon and 8’ Bourdon are working. Also, the Recit’s 4’
Octave, 2’ and 8’ Hautbois (oboe) are playable as well as
the 2 2/3 Quinte and 4’ Flute on the Grand Orgue. Weekby-week more and more pipes will be voiced and tuned
until all 58 stops are playable. Plans are being made for
the dedication of both Opus 42 (the loft organ), and Opus
41 (the small organ that sits right beneath the U. S. flag).
