Die Cut Laser Label Tips and Guidelines
Label Formatting
Follow printer software guidelines for formatting label data. See Spinnaker's website at www.spinps.com for label templates. Labels
are also compatible with Avery Label Pro and other popular software. For cross reference, select the layout code that corresponds
with the Spinnaker label. If no label is found, use the Spinnaker measurements to create a new label.
Fanning
Select the desired number of label sheets and gently fan the edges to reduce static electricity. If curl is evident, manually bend and
flatten the sheets before loading.
Loading and Printing
Consult the owner's manual to determine the proper placement of labels in the feed tray. It is acceptable to place the labels directly
on top of the paper that may be in the tray. Do not exceed the recommended number of sheets. For best toner anchorage and
processing, ensure printer settings reflect proper weight. Proceed to make copies as if printing paper. Reference GSM for printer
settings.
Caring for unused labels
Place any unused sheets from the paper tray into the protective plastic bag and store in a cool, dry environment.
Cautions
Do not run label stock through the printer twice. Should a jam appear, locate the jammed sheet and remove it before restarting the
printer. Products made with Advantedge Technology® adhesive are not recommended for guillotine applications.
