Dave Regnery is currently the President of HVAC North America, Europe, Middle East and Africa, a $7
billion strategic business unit (SBU) within Ingersoll Rand. He is a member of the Enterprise Leadership
Team, and a frequent thought leader inside and outside of Ingersoll Rand.
Regnery is a commercially-focused, fiscally strong leader who has worked in all regions of the world.
Today, he has full responsibility for the management, operations and performance of the Trane
business in North America. This includes sales and distribution of heating, ventilation and air
conditioning (HVAC) systems and services, as well as product management and engineering; product
manufacturing and service operations; parts retail and warehousing outlets, and key enabling functions.
Together with his high performance leadership team, Regnery set a simple vision and strategic direction
for Trane to deliver profitable and recurring growth during challenging recessionary markets. He led the
organization on a multi-year, multi-faceted culture change to create conditions for innovation, growth
and operational excellence – and to build a winning mindset among the 8,000+ employees in the region.
As a result, he has improved employee engagement survey scores by double digits, ensured that 100
percent of employees have development plans, delivered profitable growth for several consecutive
quarters, and commercialized dozens of new products and services with significant adoption rates.
Regnery has deep knowledge of how to make commercial, industrial and residential buildings, and
commercial transportation work more efficiently and effectively. Regnery has been instrumental in
establishing and growing partnerships with General Electric (GE) and Samsung, and has played an
integral role in developing the Energy Services business for Trane. His approachable style makes
Regnery a popular company spokesperson with financial and industry analysts, media, C-level
customers and prospects, community leaders, and professional organizations, and serves on the board
of the Air Conditioning Heating & Refrigeration Institute (AHRI).
Throughout his 25 year tenure with Ingersoll Rand, Regnery has worked in nearly every business sector
in every region including Ingersoll Rand industrial tools; Schlage commercial and residential security,
and the company’s other residential and security brands; and Thermo King commercial transport
refrigeration. Regnery also led the company’s shared services organization which included all backoffice functional areas for every region of the world.
In every role, Regnery successfully diagnosed the market, customer, competitor and operational
environments of the business, developed visions and strategic plans that attracted followers,
operationalized and executed. Whether he was spurring business growth, developing frameworks to
manage disparate organizations, or leading game-changing acquisitions and divestitures, Regnery has
achieved complete transparency, an environment of collaboration, and measurable business results.
Regnery graduated from Northeastern University with a bachelor’s degree in finance and went on to
earn his MBA from Lehigh University. He began his career as a financial management trainee, and was
promoted to finance roles of increasing importance including plant controller and controller for Schlage,
and chief financial officer for Security Technologies before shifting his focus to general management.
Maria Blasé is currently President of HVAC and Transport Latin America for Ingersoll Rand. Maria is
responsible for management, operations and performance of the Thermo King™ and Trane™
businesses in Latin America. This includes sales and distribution of HVAC systems and services,
product management and engineering; product manufacturing and service operations; parts retail
outlets, and enabling functions.
Previously, Maria served as chief financial officer for the Climate Solutions sector of Ingersoll Rand and
throughout her 25+ year career, held finance roles of increasing importance. She has worked closely
with the executive leadership team to set direction for finance, accounting and information systems, and
created shared services environments. Maria champions the company's diversity efforts and women's
network.
Maria is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA), and has an
MBA from Southern Illinois University, Edwardsville. She enjoyed her early career experience as a CPA
in Argentina and speaks fluent Spanish.
Didier Teirlinck is currently a Senior Vice President of Ingersoll Rand and the global president of the
Climate Solutions sector.
Teirlinck is a seasoned general manager with deep innovation, engineering and operations experience.
He previously served as president of the global compact business line for Volvo Construction
Equipment where he nearly doubled the size of the business in five years, strengthened the
dealer/distribution network and brought two significant product innovations to market.
He has also held general management positions with Danisco in the Flexible sector responsible for
Western Europe (France, Spain and Portugal), and with CarnaudMetalBox where he supervised
manufacturing of beer and beverage cans. He began his career as a research engineer.
Teirlinck earned a diploma of Ingénieur Civil des Mines from Ecole des Mines de Nancy, and a diploma
of Docteur-Ingénieur in physics and chemistry of materials from the University of Nancy 1. He also
earned a doctorate of metallurgy and materials science from the University of McMaster in Hamilton,
Ontario, Canada.
Jeff T. Watson is currently the Vice President of Product Management and Marketing, North America
region (U.S. and Canada) for the Trane Commercial business of Ingersoll Rand. Watson is responsible
for ensuring the differentiation and profitability of Trane Commercial products and systems in North
America, overseeing the full portfolio of Trane products, developing compelling go-to-market strategies
and delivering them in key vertical markets including education, healthcare, commercial real estate,
industrials and hospitality.
Watson is a mechanical engineer by training and for the past 30 years, has been pairing his technical
skills with sales and marketing strategies to deliver differentiated critical systems solutions for building
owners. Throughout his career with Trane and Ingersoll Rand, he has held sales and general
management roles of increasing responsibility including account executive, sales manager, operations
manager, district manager, territory leader and most recently, general manager of the Heating,
Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (HVACR) organization in North America. He is a past
Trane Top Ten award winner, which recognizes the top 10 percent for sales performance.
Watson started his career with Hercules, Inc., working as a project engineer and a maintenance
engineer. Watson earned a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from Clemson
University, graduating with cum laude honors.
Al Fullerton is the Unitary Product Business Leader for Trane North America, which includes packaged
rooftop units manufactured in Clarksville, Tennessee, Lynn Haven, Florida, and Monterrey, Mexico; split
systems manufactured in Clarksville and Monterrey; commercial self-contained units manufactured in
Clarksville; variable air volume boxes manufactured in Rushville, Indiana, and water-source heat pumps
manufactured in Waco, Texas.
Fullerton began his career as a Sales Engineer in 1981 working for another major heating, ventilation
and air conditioning manufacturer. He also gained experience at Julian Speer, a central Ohio
mechanical contractor, where his roles included vice president of the service and special projects
divisions and executive vice president of business development. Fullerton worked for Trane from 1990
to 1993, and has held roles of increasing responsibility at Trane since returning in 1997. Prior to
accepting his current role as unitary product business leader, Fullerton led the chiller business from
December 2012 to January 2014.
Fullerton graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical
engineering. Fullerton also participated in the co-op program while in college, working for seven
quarters at a consulting engineering firm in Columbus, Ohio. Fullerton has been a member of ASHRAE
since 1981 and has served in various Central Ohio Chapter roles, including serving as president from
2002 to 2003.
Dave Molin is currently Vice President of Control Products for Trane North America and EMEA. His
product portfolio responsibilities include building automation and control product offerings ranging from
sensors, thermostats, unit controllers, building management systems and comprehensive enterprise
solutions.
Molin began his career as a Marketing Manager at Trane in 1993. After more than six years, he took on
additional responsibilities as the director of business development and marketing services for the Trane
controls and contracting business, where he remained for four years. In 2003, he accepted an executive
management position at another controls company. There, he managed a product portfolio that included
a broad spectrum of control products that ranged from simple field devices and complex automation
systems. In addition to product responsibility, he led all channel development for those offerings. Molin
returned to Ingersoll Rand as vice president of Global Services for the Ingersoll Rand Industrial
Technologies business in 2013.
After receiving his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Minnesota —
Twin Cities, Molin continued on to earn his master’s degree in business administration from the
University of St. Thomas — Opus School of Business.
Rolf Paeper is the Product Business Leader of Ingersoll Rand Applied Equipment products for Trane
Commercial North America. In this role, he spearheads product strategy development and execution,
and he leads the Trane product management organization for Applied heating, ventilation and air
conditioning equipment.
Paeper joined Ingersoll Rand in 2012 as product business leader for airside and sourced products.
Earlier in his career, he held various business leadership roles at Eaton Corporation and other industrial
companies across the United States, England and South Africa.
Paeper holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Natal, South Africa,
and a Master of Business Administration from the Carlson School of Management at the University of
Minnesota.
Gary S. Michel is the President of Ingersoll Rand’s Residential HVAC Strategic Business Unit. The
business is constantly working to deliver reliability, comfort and efficiency to homeowners through its
global brands, Trane and American Standard.
During his 29 year career at Ingersoll Rand, Gary has overseen the development and launch of Trane’s
latest innovative products, including the TruComfort XV-S system, a new, variable-speed heating,
ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC) product that delivers industry-leading efficiencies up to 27.5
SEER. In addition, under Gary’s dedicated leadership, Trane recently released new diagnostics for
maintenance, enabling Trane dealers to increase productivity, quality of services, and improve customer
loyalty.
Gary recently announced a strategic partnership between Trane and St. Jude Children’s Research
Hospital®. As a national sponsor of the 2014 St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway, Trane
is donating heating and cooling products for nearly 30 custom-built homes, which will be raffled off
throughout the year. The funds raised will support the hospital’s mission of finding cures and saving lives
of children battling cancer and other deadly diseases.
Previously, Gary was chief executive officer of the Club Car business, where his demonstrated
leadership drove growth through category and geographic expansion, as well as customer loyalty for the
Club Car brand.
Gary holds a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from Virginia Polytechnic Institute
and State University and an MBA from the University of Phoenix.
