Self-styled 'undercover journalist' Hunter and his team engage men in conversation online on 18+ sites, whilst pretending to be children, then lure them into meeting. The unsuspecting men arrive at the predetermined address to be confronted by Hunter. He and his team show the 'mark' the evidence of their online, text and phone conversations and film the ensuing interrogation. Hunter informs the men he will hand this file to the police, and he will post the confrontation and evidence online. Multiple Bafta-winning Director Dan Reed (Terror in Mumbai, Legally High) captures the 'catches' from Hunter's initial introductions online through to the final confrontations. In this extraordinary documentary, Reed explores the shocking scale of the problem of online grooming and the complex relationship between the vigilantes, the police and people who use social network sites to groom underage children. He also looks into Hunter's troubled past and his motivation for catching sexual predators, challenging him on his actions which can have devastating consequences for the men when he posts videos of them online. http://abc.net.au/iview/ PRODUCTION DETAILS: Filmed, produced and directed by Dan Reed Production Company: Amos Pictures. Think stand-up, but sitting down. Then add a narrative. Sophisticated and hilarious, Story Club brings together Australia's finest raconteurs -including stand-up comics, novelists, journalists, commentators, poets and musicians - to create an event that is both funny and unexpected. Hand-picked from the live event of the same name, each episode of Story Club features two stories that are sometimes alarming and ultimately revealing - but are always entertaining and always true. Created by Zoë Norton Lodge and Ben Jenkins and held at the Giant Dwarf Theatre, the live event is a themed storytelling night where some of Australia's best storytellers gather in front of an audience to reveal their funniest stories, darkest moments and their shameful secrets, all while sitting in a stupidly ornate chair and reading from an awkwardly large book. During series one, the storytellers will share stories about coming out, staging one's own death, mistaken identity and accidental assault, cousin love, what it means to be Australia's favourite bastard and what happens when you revisit your travel diaries from 50 years ago. As well as stories about drunken Santas and fraudulent Jamie Olivers, there are tales of sexy mishaps with cleaners, terrifyingly experimental coppers, grandmas with axes to grind and geriatrics arm wrestling for beer. The stories are vulnerable, they're confronting and they're damn funny. Episode seven: Wednesday, February 18 at 10.20pm Lewis Hobba has the worst first day of school ever, which ultimately makes him the proudly unisex-jeans wearing man he is today; and Cait Harris stages her own death to circumvent her parents' plans for divorce. http://abc.net.au/iview/ PRODUCTION DETAILS: Created by Ben Jenkins and Zoë Norton Lodge. Produced by Giant Dwarf. Executive Producers Julian Morrow and Craig Reucassel.
