Valentine’s Evening Love Songs Concert // Charles (tenor) and Julie
(soprano) Reid will perform Love Songs from all ages on February 14th
at 6:30 pm in the Sanctuary, accompanied by Victor Moreno. The Reids
are vocal instructors at the Music School at Andrews University. This
will be a free concert with a love offering to be collected.

Small Group Invitation // During the All About Jesus Seminar, Pastor
Venden invited us to keep the fires of revival burning in our personal lives
by participating in small groups. If you would like to lead or participate
in a small group and you missed out on last Sabbath’s opportunity to
meet with others with a similar interest, please come to the Chapel at
the close of the worship service. Handouts will be available.
Parents’ Night Out // Go out for the evening on Saturday, February 14,
and leave your child in the care of the Hinsdale Trailblazers Pathfinder
Club from 6-10 pm. A light supper is provided with lots of game playing
in the HAA gym. The cost is $15 per child, $10 for additional siblings.
No preregistration required.

Today // Do you long to be closer to Jesus? Do you desire for this closeness
to transform you and your relationships? Then today’s message is for
you. This message is the first of three sermons that explore the life
giving power and supernatural infusion Jesus offers to His followers.
Pastor Ron has a sermon page for children. Kids who participate in today’s
sermon can see Pastor Ron in the Foyer after church for a special prize.
Extra sermon notes are available at the Resource Center. Following the
church service, come to the Fellowship Hall for an old fashioned potluck.

control your blood pressure, and to make easy-to-prepare low sodium
yet tasty meals? On Sunday, February 22, at 3:30 in the Fellowship Hall

Faith and Fellowship Night at Wolves Hockey // Youth Outing on
Saturday, February 21, at 7 pm at All-State Arena. The cost is $24 per
person which covers the game, hats, post-game concert and a backstage
pass to meet Christian Artist, David Dunn. Please sign-up on Facebook
or on the list by the Chapel by Tuesday, February 17.
747 Youth Vespers // Pastor Manny Ojeda, Illinois Conference Youth
Director, will speak at the next 747 Vespers on Friday, February 20, at
7:47 pm in the Chapel. Come out for a night of worship and fellowship.

Children’s Church // On February 14, children ages 4-10 are invited
to come to the Primary Room following the offering for a Children’s
Church program.
Offering for Venden Series // Many of you have been eternally blessed
during the All About Jesus Seminar by Pastor Lee and Marji Venden.
Estimated expenses for the series are over what was budgeted by $350.
If you are blessed and would like to help with the expenses for these
meetings, please mark your donation Venden Local Expenses. Any excess
funds received will go to discipleship ministry to fund other discipleship
growth opportunities and materials.
Calling all CPAs, Certified Tax Preparers and Other Willing
Personal Preparers! // If you would like to use your skills to bless
others with tax preparation, we have a ministry opportunity for you.
We are gathering people interested in helping others prepare their

HCS Food Bank // Thank you to everyone who joined with Outreach
Ministries and brought non-perishable food items today. Please place
these items in either of the black bins near the two parking lot entrances
on the lower level. All items go to the HCS Food Pantry to feed hungry
families in need.
Ladies Needed // Women’s Ministry Sabbath is March 14 and we need
your assistance. Please contact Pastor Jenn for ways you can participate.
Have a Heart for ADRA // Join the fun of supporting Adventist
Development and Relief Agency all month long by choosing a project
from the Have a Heart board in the downstairs hallway. All gifts should
go in a tithe envelope with the heart from the board indicating with
which project you are helping!
