SPIRITUAL LIFE
PARISH LIFE
SACRISTANS: THE INVISIBLE MINISTRY
As you arrive for Mass, the altar breads, water, and wine
are there in the inner lobby; chalices can be seen on the
credence table to the left of the altar. After Mass, as you
take a few minutes to talk to friends or get a hug from Fr.
Charlie, the “altar dishes” (sacred vessels) are cleared
away. Setting up for each Mass and cleaning up
afterwards are not difficult jobs, but our priest-celebrants
or deacons must do it—unless someone helps. This
“helper,” whom you may never see, is a Sacristan.
If you can devote a few minutes to this ministry before
and after Mass, or if you are a Sacristan now, please
come to the Parish Library on Tuesday evening,
February 24, at 7pm. Questions: contact Bill Laudeman at
877-8025 or [email protected].
MARDI GRAS POTLUCK
& FR. CHARLIE’S BIRTHDAY
Join us as we celebrate Fr Charlie's birthday "Mardi Gras
Style" on Tuesday, February 17, at noon. Please bring a
dish to share—whether meat, casserole, vegetable, salad or
fruit. Dessert (including King Cake!) and drinks will be
provided. A special Mass will be celebrated at 11:15am
and the lunch will follow in the Parish Life Center. If you
would like to help with set-up/decorating or clean-up
please call Kyra in the parish office.

pertenecen a Dios.
hablar a Dios. Los hombres son malos intérpretes de una
realidad que desconocen. La palabra autoridad viene de
autor y autor indica creación, novedad, crecimiento.
apoyo financiero a nuestra parroquia, a nuestra diócesis y a
Obispo Stika y hagan compromisos generosos. Todos los
compromisos pueden pagarse en cuotas. Muchas gracias
anticipadamente por su apoyo
