Dance Championships

Registration: The Registration table will open at 7:30 am. Please make sure that you
are checked in 30 minutes prior to your first routine. A signed Medical Release for all
participating dancers will be due at this time. These can be found on our website at
www.westcoastelitedance.com
Admission: Admission is $10 per person. Children 6-10 are $5. All Children under six
will be admitted free. Performers will receive a wristband and will not be charged
admission. Each team will also receive two additional wristbands for their coaches/
advisors. Credit cards will not be accepted for admission. Please note that it is possible
for the competition to run 30 minutes ahead of schedule.
Music: Please do not use iphones or anything that can ring and disrupt your dancers’
performance. Please also do not use anything that locks, or needs a password. If using
an ipod, please make sure that the volume is turned all the way up before handing it to
the announcer. Due to all of these different variables, CDs are best, but ipods may be
used for back-up.
Concessions: Food and drinks will be available throughout the day.
Videos: Professional DVD’s will be available for purchase. Don’t miss out!
Score sheets: We are pleased to announce our new judging system! All routines will
receive a video adjudication from all 3 judges! All video critiques will be e-mailed by
Tuesday following the competition. A detailed breakdown of scores for each category
your team participated in will be available at the sound table at the end of the
competition.
Schedule: Please see the attached schedule, and note that changes may still occur.
Please check online, the Wednesday before the competition, for the final schedule. In
order to run a smooth and organized event we will not be able to accept ANY changes
the day of the event.
