The Engineering and Maintenance Department of the Sydney Adventist Hospital is currently seeking an experienced, qualified
and capable Plumber to join our in-house maintenance team. The ideal candidate will be organised, well presented, respectful
of others and committed to delivering exceptional customer service. You must be able to work independently, adhere to
rules/procedures, be a good problem solver and take pride in your work. This role includes dealing with department and hospital
staff, and interaction on occasion, with patients and will provide the right person with a friendly working environment.
Essential:


Ability to be on-call one (1) week (including weekend) per month.

Willing to assist other trades as directed

Current Australian Driver’s License


Section Manager MRS Level 4 (full time) – San Radiology
Location: Sydney Adventist Hospital
Applications are invited for the position of Section Manager within San Radiology.
Sydney Adventist Hospital is an acute care private hospital located on Sydney’s leafy North Shore. We offer acute medical,
surgical and obstetric care, Emergency care and cardiac and orthopaedic procedures. We provide inpatient, outpatient and
emergency care patient diagnostic and interventional procedures.
The Section Manager will be responsible for the daily operational management for the General x-ray area which includes
Operating Theatres and Mammography and will ensure achievement of radiation and quality standards. The successful
applicant will have a strong customer focus and will participate in quality activities, performance management and education.

AHPRA registration, NSW EPA Radiation Operators licence

Minimum of four years as a radiographer

Recognised and relevant professional education.

Chief Executive Officer – Adventist HealthCare Limited

AHCL Board is seeking applications from suitably experienced and highly motivated individuals for the position of Chief
Executive Officer of Adventist HealthCare.
Adventist HealthCare Limited is based in Wahroonga, NSW and comprises the following entities: Sydney Adventist Hospital,
Dalcross Adventist Hospital, San Day Surgery Hornsby and San Diagnostics and Pharmacy. Adventist HealthCare is currently
operating 551 registered overnight beds and 28 operating theatres and has almost completed a major development project on
the Sydney Adventist Hospital (SAH) site. The new development at SAH will see the hospital expand bed capacity to 535
registered overnight beds, 24 operating theatres and an integrated Cancer Centre. The new Clark tower includes 40 state-ofthe-art maternity beds and 9 delivery suites. Currently plans are in progress for the development of rehabilitation beds at
Dalcross and an expanded role is being considered for the San Day Surgery Hornsby site.
As CEO you have practical experience in infrastructure management and a broad knowledge of the issues, challenges and
opportunities within the private health sector. The successful applicant will have a strong commitment to the beliefs and
philosophy of the Seventh-day Adventist Church and must have the following:







Previous health care management and leadership
A proven management track record in terms of effective leadership, strategic thinking and positive organisational
commercial outcomes
A proven track record in managing finances and resources, and a history of delivering profitability efficiently and
effectively through the implementation of a range of strategic operational and financial initiatives
People management skills which will guarantee you effectively build and manage a high performing team and culture
aligned with the Adventist Church beliefs and philosophy, ensuring the effective design and implementation of policies
and procedures, corporate governance, compliance and risk management initiatives
Effective communication skills and a customer focus. A proven ability to negotiate effectively and be articulate and
persuasive
A capacity to align individuals with the overall strategic direction of the organisation combined with your demonstrated

Clinical Dietitian (Casual)
Location: Sydney Adventist Hospital
The Nutrition & Dietetics Department of the Sydney Adventist Hospital is seeking an applicant to fill a Casual Clinical Dietitian
position. The position involves working as a member of a dedicated medical support team in developing, organizing and
providing nutritional guidance and education for inpatients. The position may require on-call work for weekends or public
holidays.
Duties include assessing patient’s nutritional needs, counseling patients on modified diets, facilitating nutrition education groups,
in-servicing staff on dietary issues, consulting and co-operating with doctors, nurses & other medical staff for the welfare of the
patients, and involvement in quality improvement initiatives.

Nutrition Assistant (Casual)
Location: Sydney Adventist Hospital
We currently have a vacancy for a Nutrition Assistant in our Nutrition and Dietetics Department. It involves working on a rotating
roster including weekend work. The Nutrition Assistant is responsible for assisting the Clinical Dietitian in providing nutritional
care to inpatients and using CBORD for taking and processing patient menu orders.

Completed an Undergraduate Degree in Nutrition or hold a Dietary Practices Certificate (TAFE)

