How many times have your stakeholders tried to shortchange the analysis phase of a
newly assigned project? (How many times have YOU been tempted to do so?) Sometimes
we get pushback from our supervisors, clients or peers such as “It costs too much…it takes
too long…this is an easy project, we don’t need it.”
As performance improvement professionals, we know that analysis done at the front end
of a project is KEY to getting the best results; it helps ensure that we create realistic plans,
set accurate targets and milestones, engage the right people – and focus on solving the
right problems.
This program will explore:
- The importance, benefits, challenges, and types of up-front analysis
-The fact that analytics (aka “big data”) is now available to support performance
improvement projects
-How analytics contribute to the analysis phase
©
Participants will gain hands-on experience with the Change Diagnostic Index , a unique
“human data” analytics tool that yields in-depth, highly reliable information for use in
analysis and planning (and beyond). Dr. James Grady will be onsite to contribute to our
lively discussion about successful (and not so successful) analysis experiences.
Jinnie Lee Schmid founded Change Navigators, LLC to fulfill her purpose of equipping
individuals and organizations to navigate changef and improve performance. She
has over 20 years experience in organizational consulting (internal and external) and

Moving Beyond E-Learning: A Workshop with Jane Hart
Thursday, February 12, 2015, 9 AM – 4 PM
Executive Center - Boundary Waters Suite, Mall of America
PACT invites you to join us for an amazing opportunity to take a professional development workshop from a wellrespected, global learning and development leader.
The way we learn in the workplace is changing; in large part influenced by the way we learn on the Web.
Organizations at the leading edge are now modernizing their approach to workplace learning, and moving beyond
creating and managing e-learning, towards addressing performance problems in more relevant ways as well as
promoting, developing and supporting continuous learning. In this workshop Jane will take you on a tour of the new
initiatives that are taking place in organizations in order to enable and support learning in new ways. Increase your
professional marketability by attending this transformational and interactive workshop.
Workshop Objectives

Review the need for moving beyond classroom training and 1st generation e-learning

Consider the new opportunities it offers to enable and support learning in new ways

Compare the two roles of (traditional) learning manager and (new) learning consultant

Build a plan for broadening the scope of the work in your own L&D team or that of your client
