Dear Parents, Flu season is here, so we are taking this opportunity to remind you of a few simple steps you can take to help prevent the spread of flu at school and home. First, please continue to remind your children to wash their hands often with either with soap and water or a waterless hand sanitizer. Also, please remind your children to cover their mouths and noses with a tissue when they cough or sneeze. Using a tissue spreads fewer germs, but since tissue may not be around when you need one, sneezing into your elbow is next best. To help prevent illness, it’s also important for children to get enough sleep and exercise, drink plenty of fluids and have a healthy diet. If, your child needs medical care during flu season, remember that Partners for Healthy Students is here at our school. This valuable program provides no-cost healthcare services to eligible children. (928) 771-5662 or (928) 771-5123.
