One of the primary responsibilities of the State Office is to assist the pastors
and local churches by providing training and equipping them to advance the
Kingdom of God in their community.
The School of the Prophets Conference provides such training. Once again,
we have seven-teen workshops on Saturday (Feb 21) after Prayer Conference,
focusing on a wide range of subjects. The cost is $50 per church if you register
online by February 12 at kycog.net (you can bring as many from your church
as you want). Those registering after February 12 will pay $100 per church—
and you are not going to believe this, but the cost includes a sandwich lunch for
those attending.
So mark your calendars, inform your church leaders, load up your cars, load up
the vans, load up the buses and inconvenience yourself for a day of Kingdom
investment. Each person attending will be able to attend four workshops.
Imagine how exciting it will be at your church when those attending the workshops get together to share their notes with each other and the rest of the
church.
The District Overseers Meeting will also take place during the School of the
Prophets Conference.
Now for the pastors, spouses, and ministers, on Friday morning of the Prayer
Conference, by popular demand, from 10am - 12pm there will be a two-hour
seminar entitled "How to Handle Stress in the Parsonage and Pulpit" by Dr.
Jeffery McGirt, Director of the Lee University Charlotte Extension.
Finally, let me say something about the Prayer Conference worship services.
Wanda and I hope to see you. There will be two nights of powerful worship
(Thur. & Fri.) on February 19 & 20 with Bishop James McIntyre, Senior Pastor
of the Cornerstone Family Worship Center in Washington, North Carolina, and
former President of S.E.R.F. So, Jesus has a table spread where the saints of
God are fed, "come and dine."

Youth & Discipleship
Department Matthew Propes
Director
Dear Ministers and Laity of Kentucky,
We are gearing up for an exciting Spring in the Kentucky Youth and Discipleship Department. We are looking forward
to formally presenting details on KYC2015 at our State Prayer Conference (Feb. 19-20). Additionally at Prayer Conference, we will be presenting more information about YWEA2015 Israel: A Heart for the Homeland. God is doing some
amazing things in our state through this initiative, and we look forward to sharing some of those testimonies. We are
also offering numerous Youth and Discipleship related workshops at the School of the Prophets (Feb. 21), including
Youth Ministry Children’s Ministry, Bus Ministry, and Sunday School. Smoky Mountain Winterfest (March 13-15) and
our State Teen Talent (March 20-21) are just around the corner and there is still time to register for both. I’m asking you
as leaders to use the influence you have in the lives of young people in your care to do everything you can to get them to
these events. I truly believe their lives will be enriched as a result, and it will give you more opportunities as a leader to
develop closer relationships with them as well. Thank you in advance for your continued partnership with the ministry
of the State Office – we couldn’t do what we do without you!
God Bless You!
Matthew Propes
