BISMACK’S WORLD
Over his last seven games played, Bismack Biyombo has scored in double figures four times and grabbed double-figure rebounds four times,
tallying three double-doubles. He is averaging 9.2 points on .585 shooting (24-41) and 9.5 rebounds over the stretch, which includes the first threegame double-figure rebounding streak of his career from Jan. 10-17. Biyombo has had at least seven offensive rebounds in four of the seven
games, including a three-game streak that tied the longest in Charlotte NBA history of games with seven or more offensive rebounds. It was
previously done by Emeka Okafor (January 15-19, 2007), Vlade Divac (January 12-15, 1997) and Larry Johnson (December 13-17, 1991). Biyombo
recorded two straight double-doubles on Jan. 10 against New York (14 points and 12 rebounds) and Jan. 14 against San Antonio (12 points and 15
rebounds) to record two straight double-doubles for just the second time in his career. The previous time came April 13 and 15, 2013.
IT STARTS WITH THE POINT GUARD
Kemba Walker has scored 20 or more points in 14 of his last 21 games played and is averaging 23.0 points on .429 shooting from the field (171399), including .355 from beyond the three-point line (43-121), over the 21-game stretch. Walker scored 30 points or more in three consecutive
games from Jan. 3-7, the ninth such streak in Charlotte NBA history, and tallied at least 25 points in six straight games from Jan. 3-14. He scored a
career-high 42 points on Dec. 27 against Orlando, including 35 points in the second half, the most points in a half in Charlotte NBA history. He has
reached double figures in 29 of the last 32 games and 37 of 42 games played this season.
