Number of Guests
Rudding Park can accommodate a maximum of 180 guests for a Wedding Reception.
We have a minimum number requirement on different days throughout the year:
♦♦ January, February, March – 80 adults
♦♦ April 100 adults
♦♦ Saturday (June – August) 120 adults
♦♦ Saturday (May, September – November and December) 100 adults
♦♦ Friday and Sunday (May – August) 90 adults
♦♦ Friday and Sunday (September – November) 80 adults
♦♦ Friday and Sunday and in between Christmas and New Year (December) 100 adults
♦♦ (Bank Holiday Sundays are classed as Saturdays)
Smaller weddings can be accommodated and minimum number requirements will vary.
Room Capacities
♦♦ For 80 or more guests, the Wedding Breakfast is served in the Radcliffe Room with Reception Drinks
♦♦
♦♦
in one of our other ground floor rooms.
For 50 to 70 guests, the Wedding Breakfast is served in the Crosby Suite with Reception Drinks taken
in the Jupiter Room.
For less than 50 guests, we can use a variety of rooms dependant upon numbers and availability.
Menus
♦♦ Menu prices start from £69 per person (to 31 March 2015); including canapes served during Reception Drinks
and a three course Wedding Breakfast.
♦♦ For any Wedding taking place on a Saturday there is supplement of £13 per person (to 31 March 2015);
♦♦
with the exception of Weddings taking place in January, February, March, April and May.
Wines/Drinks are charged for as chosen from our wine list (we do not offer a corkage facility).
Evening Party
A selection of dishes to keep you going until late into the evening.
You may choose as many items as you wish; however please cater for the total number of guests attending in the
evening. In addition to the food a £10.50 per person (April to December inclusive) charge applies for every guest
arriving after the wedding breakfast.
On a Saturday and Bank Holiday Sunday we ask for a minimum of two choices per person.

Booking Information
♦♦ Should you wish to make a provisional booking we are able to hold your preferred date
for a maximum of three weeks
♦♦ To confirm a booking we require our contract (known as a Conditions of Business form) to be signed
and returned along with a deposit of £2,000 and a copy of your wedding insurance certificate
♦♦ A second deposit of £4,000 for the Radcliffe Room and £1,900 for the Crosby Suite
is required six months prior to the date
♦♦ Full Payment is required six weeks before the wedding. This is calculated on an average wedding spend,
anticipated numbers and a further £200 to cover any incidental items
♦♦ A final invoice is prepared at final numbers stage (one week prior to the date of the event) with any outstanding
amount settled prior to the date of the event
♦♦ All prices quoted are current and may be changed at the discretion of the management
♦♦ Payments made by credit card are subject to a 2% transaction fee at the time of payment
♦♦ Please be considerate towards our environment – we ask that biodegradable confetti
is used by guests attending your wedding
♦♦ Inclusive of VAT at 20%
Wedding Menus
Our menu packages include canapes served during your Reception Drinks, your three course Wedding Breakfast
followed by coffee and petit fours. You may wish to choose a set menu where each guest will be served the same
starter, main and pudding. Alternatively you may prefer to offer your guests the choice of the three alternatives
within the menu package: if so we would require a menu pre-order no later than one week prior to the Wedding.
We are happy to cater for vegetarians and other special diets; however these need to be discussed in advance
with your Wedding Co-ordinator.
Should you wish to serve a specific dish which is not listed, please feel free to ask our team of chefs who will do
their utmost to assist you.

Special accommodation rates are available for guests attending your Wedding and staying at the Hotel.
Rates are per room and include full Yorkshire breakfast, morning newspaper, service and VAT at 20%.

Accommodation Requirements
For all bookings we require a guarantee that your party will take a minimum
number of bedrooms on the night of the wedding.
Our minimum number guarantee is:
10 Follifoot Wing Rooms or 15 Ribston Wing Rooms
All the rooms from your agreed allocation are guaranteed. If there are fewer bedrooms booked than the contracted
amount then full cancellation charges will apply. We assume guests can telephone and book directly from your
allocation unless you advise us otherwise. Once the agreed allocation of bedrooms has been reached further
rooms will be available to your guests at the best available rate.
Bedrooms are available for check-in from 3pm. If you wish to guarantee the availability of your bedroom
before 3pm, you must reserve your bedroom the night before your expected arrival.
Please advise all your guests to arrive at Rudding Park prepared and dressed for your wedding celebrations as
bedrooms will be not be available until after 3pm unless booked and paid for the night before their expected arrival.
We cannot guarantee the availability of bedrooms unless they are reserved at the time of booking your wedding.
The Wedding Rate is the best rate available to you at this time and the above rates will apply to all rooms within
your group allocation. Discounted and promotional rates may be available on public sale at different times as
public rates increase and decrease subject to demand.

Rudding Park reserves the right to amend prices should costs increase substantially due

Special Wedding Offer for 2014, 2015 & 2016
On certain dates we are delighted to offer our wedding parties a very special price. Whilst these dates are unlikely
to be a Friday or a Saturday (with the exception of January, February and March) there are many Thursdays,
Fridays and Sundays available. The offer is based on two packages with minimum numbers as detailed below.
However if your numbers exceed these, we can arrange an equally special price for additional guests.

Special Wedding Offer Terms and Conditions
Whilst it is unlikely there will be another wedding taking place at Rudding Park, we do not guarantee this. If you
would like to ensure you are the only wedding party on your special day, an exclusivity fee of £1000 is applicable
and confirmed at the time of booking. Should the exclusivity fee not be paid at the time of confirmation, we reserve
the right to book other weddings on the date of your event. Weddings taking place over the Easter weekend and
summer (May, June, July and August) are subject to a £1000 fee in addition to the cost of the package.
Any additional guests will be charged at £85 per person (until 31 March 2015) and £95 per person (from 1 April
2015 - 31 March 2016) excluding accommodation. All extra items required, or changes to those listed above, will
incur a supplementary charge. The overall cost of the package cannot be reduced for smaller party sizes or if
all items in the package are not required. Should you prefer each guest to settle their accommodation directly to
Rudding Park each room will be charged at £140 (until 31 March 2015) and £145 (from 1 April 2015 – 31 March
2016). This applies only to those dates listed and to bookings made as a result of receiving this correspondence.
