Patrick S. Donahue serves as Chairman and Chief
Executive Officer of Donahue Schriber Realty Group.
Mr. Donahue joined the company in 1979 and has been
engaged in nearly all of the 32 million square feet of retail
space in which the company has been involved. He has
worked in every aspect of the business, including leasing,
asset management, development and corporate strategy.
Mr. Donahue has been instrumental in fostering key
relationships and opportunities that paved the way through
the company’s early days in regional mall development and
management and parlaying the knowledge and disciplines
obtained into becoming a recognized leader in the
operation and development of neighborhood, community
and power shopping centers.
Mr. Donahue previously served as Executive Vice President
Operations and took on the role of President after the
sudden death of his brother, Dan Donahue, in 2002. He
added the CEO role when Tom Schriber stepped back
from his day-to-day duties in 2005. Mr. Donahue assumed
the role of Chairman of the Board upon Tom Schriber’s
retirement in 2010.
A 1978 graduate of California State University Fullerton,
Mr. Donahue currently serves as a Trustee for the
International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and is a
frequent industry-wide speaker. He is actively involved with
KidWorks and its Dan Donahue Center in Santa Ana, CA as
well as Guardian Scholars at Cal State University Fullerton
in Fullerton, CA and the California Showcase.
Mr. Donahue has three adult children and resides in Laguna
Beach with his wife, Paula.
Peter Jacobson was most recently employed as the
Managing Director of the Colorado Stone, Sand & Gravel
Association (CSSGA), a statewide trade association
representing the construction materials industries. His
responsibilities included the day-to-day management of
the association while also overseeing all of the regulatory
compliance and legislative issues impacting CSSGA’s
membership.
During the course of his career he has had a diverse array
of interesting jobs including: Working as the State Director
for U.S. Senator Wayne Allard (R-CO); working as one of
two principals in the Denver office of Dutko Worldwide, a
well-respected and nationally known government affairs
and lobbying company; and he has been involved with
fund-raising projects and voter outreach programs for
numerous Gubernatorial, U.S. Senate and Congressional
campaigns in the western United States.
Pete was very pleased to be appointed by Governor
Owens to a six-year term as a member of the First Judicial
Nominating Commission, a judicial selection committee.
He was also elected to three four-year terms as a member
of the Evergreen Park and Recreation District where he
was involved with among other things the successful
management of three bond initiatives for parks, openspace and new ball-fields in the Evergreen area.
Colorado has been home for Pete since he enrolled and
subsequently graduated from the University of Denver in
1978. He is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys downhill
skiing, mountain biking, backpacking and he has climbed
many of Colorado’s 14’ers.
Sucharita Mulpuru is a principal analyst on Forrester’s
eBusiness team where she focuses primarily on
eCommerce, consumer behavior and trends in the online
shopping space, technology developments that affect the
online commerce industry and vendors that facilitate online
marketing and merchandising. She is the country’s leading
authority on multichannel retail topics, has authored
more than 50 research papers on the topics of online
and multichannel retail, and is frequently cited in leading
media outlets such as CNBC, The Wall Street Journal,
Business Week and The Financial Times. She is a highlyregarded and frequently sought-after public speaker and
has presented her research to audiences around the world.
Prior to Forrester, Sucharita was the director of marketing
at Saks Fifth Avenue, where she managed the customer
acquisition, retention and market research efforts for the
$2 billion luxury retailer’s online channel. Prior to Saks, she
held management positions at Toys R Us, where she was a
merchant in the Babies R Us division and a store manager
in one of the company’s largest toy stores, and at the Walt
Disney Company, where she developed and managed
marketing plans for new business initiatives including the
Disney Stores, the Disney Cruise Line and Club Disney.
Additionally, she was involved in the expansion of Cap
Cities/ABC properties, specifically ESPN Zone, ESPN
Magazine and the Go.com network. She was a member
of the founding team at Babystyle, the multimillion dollar,
multichannel retailer of maternity and baby products
headquartered in Los Angeles. She has authored two nonfiction books and has contributed to Business Week Online.
Sucharita holds a BA in Economics from Harvard University
and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of
Business.
