The person handling the dog must be a breeder of record of the dog and an owner of record of the dog, and family members must both be a breeder and owner of record to exhibit in this class. VETERAN CLASS Veteran Dogs & Bitches may be spayed or neutered at Specialty Shows. PUPPY & VETERAN SWEEPSTAKES Puppy Sweepstakes is open to all AKC registered Schipperkes (except Champions of Record) who are at least 6 months of age and under 18 months of age and Veterans 7 years and older on the day of the Sweepstakes. All dogs and bitches entered in PUPPY Sweepstakes MUST ALSO be entered in a Regular Class at this Specialty, at the regular entry fee. Entries must be made at the same time and on the same entry form as the regular classes, indicating in the space for “Additional Classes” the entry in Sweepstakes. DISTRIBUTION OF SWEEPSTAKES PRIZE MONEY 35% of the entry fees will be retained by Schipperke Club of Central Arizona for expenses. The remaining 65% will be divided among the winners as follows: Best in Sweepstakes 5%, 1st Place in each class 30%, 2nd Place in each class 15%, 3rd place in each class 10%, 4th place in each class 5%. The name of each winning dog will be engraved on the trophy until it is retires. The regular Junior Showmanship Classes shall be: (A) Novice. This class shall be for boys and girls who are at least 9 years old and under 18 years old on the day of the show and who at the time entries close have not won three (3) first place awards, with competition present, in a Novice Class at a licensed or member show. (B) Open. This class shall be for boys and girls who are at least 9 years old and under 18 years old on the day of the show, and who have won three (3) first place awards in a Novice Class in a licensed or member show, with competition present. The winner of a Novice Class shall automatically become eligible, upon notice to the Open Class ring steward, to enter and compete in the Open Class at the same show provided the win is the third (3rd) first place award with competition and further providing there are one or more Junior Handlers competing in the Open Class. Junior Handlers who win a third (3rd) Novice Class with competition present after the closing of entries for a show may transfer their entry from the Novice Class to the Open Class provided that this transfer is made by the Superintendent or Show Secretary at least one-half hour prior to the scheduled start of Junior Showmanship judging at the show. No entry may be changed or cancelled unless notice of the change or cancellation is received in writing by the Superintendent or Show Secretary named in the premium list to receive entries, prior to the closing date and hour for entries, except that a correction may be made from one age division to another provided this transfer is made by the Superintendent or Show Secretary at least one half-hour prior to the scheduled start of any Junior Showmanship class at the show. (C) Junior, Intermediate and Senior Classes. Each of the regular classes may be divided by age into Junior, Intermediate and Senior Classes, provided the division is specified in the premium list. A Junior Class shall be for boys and girls who are at least 9 years old and under 12 years old on the day of the show. The Intermediate Class shall be for boys and girls who are at least 12 years old and under 15 years old on the day of the show. The Senior Class shall be for boys and girls who are at least 15 years old and under 18 years old on the day of the show. (D) Best Junior Handler. A club offering Junior Showmanship may offer a prize for Best Junior Handler provided there will be competition for this award, a minimum of two class winners present to compete for the award. The prize is described in the premium list. The Junior Handler placed first in each of the regular Junior Showmanship Class at that show, shall automatically be eligible to compete for this prize. Master: This class will be for boys and girls who are at least 9 years old and under 18 years on the day of the show, and who have won the 10 first place wins in an Open class with competition to be eligible to enter the Limited Class Competition. The calendar for this class will be consistent with the eligibility dates for the AKC Eukanuba National Championship. All Juniors meeting the criteria for this class are required to enter the Master Class and may change their entry the day of the show if entries have already closed. Once the eligibility time frame for that year has passed all participants return to the Open Class to complete for the following year. 8 ATTENTION EXHIBITORS The Show Site will be available to exhibitors at 1 p.m. on Wednesday. Dogs must be removed immediately following Best in Show judging on Monday. DAY OF SHOW PARKING A weekend pass is available for $20 (Which offers In and Out Privileges). $20 Event Pass is available in advance online @ http://www.fiestacluster.com/parkingpass and will be available Thurs. on-site @ the information booth. Day of Show Parking fees are at the discretion of WestWorld and are collected at the gate upon arrival. The fee for each automobile space occupied is $5 PER ENTRANCE. Vehicles occupying more than one space will be charged and located accordingly. A multi-day pass is available for $20 (vehicles occupying more than one space will also be charged accordingly). Parking attendants will direct exhibitors to park in the designated areas on asphalt & gravel parking lots. NO PARKING OR DRIVING ON THE GRASS. Unloading zone will be provided with a 10-minute time limit. You may NOT take your dogs and equipment to the ring and you may NOT take vehicles on the show grounds. You must unload and immediately park your vehicle. There will be NO REGULAR EXHIBITOR PARKING in RESERVED AREAS or any area designated as an OFFICIAL FIRE ZONE or NO PARKING ZONE. There will be limited handicap day of show parking which will be available on a “first come” basis. Exhibitors not abiding by the rules may be subject to a Show Committee Hearing and have their vehicles towed out of the area or ticketed. GENERATORS & MOTORIZED VEHICLES Power for grooming tents and setups will be provided by the Fiesta Cluster. NO OTHER PORTABLE GENERATORS will be allowed on the polo field. NO MOTORIZED VEHICLES shall be operated in the aisles between rings or within 20 feet of any ring. DOGS LEFT IN PARKED CARS In the event that it becomes necessary to rescue an animal from a parked car on the show grounds or parking areas immediately surrounding the show grounds, Arizona Collie Clan, Inc., Scottsdale Dog Fanciers or Superstition Kennel Club will not be held liable for any damages incurred as a result of rescuing the animal. Furthermore, if the rescue has to be performed by virtue of negligence, the owner, agent or any other person responsible for the rescued animal WILL be subjected to a Bench Show Hearing, as approved by the rules of the AKC. LIQUOR RULES & REGULATIONS It is against Scottsdale regulations and ordinances for any person or organization to bring upon the premises any alcoholic beverages unless a permit has been purchased from Scottsdale Parks and Recreation. Ticket and fines may be imposed for non-compliance. NO glass containers are allowed on the property. IMPORTANT There are Bathrooms and Showers available for exhibitors. Any exhibitor found with a dog in bathrooms or showers will NOT be allowed to exhibit and will be subject to action by the SHOW COMMITTEE. A sanitary dump station is available on the grounds. GROOMING & SETUPS Public Grooming tents and set up areas will be designated by the Fiesta Cluster. The grooming and crating area will be supervised by the members of Fiesta Cluster Committee who will be available to assist in and enforce the setup starting Wednesday. Public Grooming Tents with power are provided for the use of exhibitors on a first come, first served basis. Exhibitors are not permitted to mark off or reserve space in the public grooming tents with roping, cones, etc. Exercise pens are not permitted under Public Grooming Tents. Aisles will be designated in the public grooming tents and set up areas and must be maintained. The Fiesta Cluster Committee reserves the right to require that space in the Public Grooming tents be optimized and may require that crates be stacked. No vending may take place under any public grooming tent. Personal setups (EZ-ups, canopy tents) are permitted in areas designated by the Fiesta Cluster. No setups will be permitted within 20 feet of any ring. No crates, exercise pens, grooming tables, or setups will be allowed in the aisles. The Fiesta Cluster Committee will make every effort to ensure that these policies are enforced and that setups are consolidated to accommodate as many exhibitors as possible in the Public Grooming Tents and the set up areas. Please note that some Specialty Clubs have reserved private tenting for their exclusive use. All public grooming tents will be clearly marked and may be used by all exhibitors. THE CLUB IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR LOSS OR INJURY DUE TO TENTING NOT PROVIDED BY THE FIESTA CLUSTER. SPECIAL NOTICE REGARDING RINGSIDE SHADE TENTS – RINGSIDE CRATING The SHADED AREA at ringside is for the convenience of exhibitors while their breed is being exhibited. It is expected that exhibitors will occupy the shaded area no sooner than fifteen minutes prior to the scheduled exhibition time, nor any later than fifteen minutes after completion of their breed judging. NO GROOMING, SETUPS OR EXERCISE PENS WILL BE PERMITTED AT RINGSIDE. Dogs may not be left unattended in the shaded areas at RINGSIDE while that breed is currently being exhibited. The Show Committee will impound Dogs left in violation of this regulation. Owners or agents who violate these regulations, or whose dogs have been impounded by the Show Committee will be subject to disciplinary action as exacted by the Show Committee of the Scottsdale Dog Fanciers Association, Inc. and/or Superstition Kennel Club, Inc. Returned Checks do not constitute a valid entry fee. The Superintendent will add a collection fee to the amount of each returned check and declined credit card. Subsequent returned checks for the same exhibitors may result in their being put on a CASH ONLY basis. The returned check or declined credit card MUST BE MADE GOOD by cash or money order BEFORE the dog will be allowed in the ring. 3. Exhibitors' Identification tickets and judging programs will be mailed to the address given on the entry blank. If not received within a reasonable time prior to the show, notify the superintendent. Tickets returned by the Post Office marked 'undeliverable' will be held at the Superintendent's Office. PLEASE BRING YOUR IDENTIFICATION TICKETS TO THE SHOW. 4. During the hours of judging owners are to be on call, and have their dogs ready to bring into the judging ring promptly, In order that the judging will not be delayed. Dogs need only be present for their judging. Dogs not needed for further judging may be excused. It is the responsibility of the exhibitor to have his dog ready to be shown and at the entrance of the judging ring when the steward calls for the class. Owners of dogs or the handlers of the dogs alone are responsible for the presence of their dogs in the judging rings. This means it is not the responsibility of the ring steward, nor of any agent of the show-giving club to locate any dog, its owner or handler, when the dog's presence is needed in a judging ring. It should be understood by every exhibitor and handler that waiting for dogs to be brought into the ring is a courtesy extended to the owner or handler of the dog. There is no rule of this club nor of The American Kennel Club that requires a judge to wait for an owner or handler to bring his dog into the ring. 5. In the event of any discrepancy from the published prize list; the superintendent's office should be advised at once. All trophies must be claimed the day of the show. None will be mailed. 6. Exhibitors are admonished to make themselves familiar with the agreement of the American Kennel Club, referred to on the reverse side of the entry blanks that accompany this premium list. The club, its superintendents or their employees will not be responsible for the loss of or damage to any dog exhibited, whether the result of accident or other causes and in addition assumes no responsibility for any loss, damage or injury sustained by an owner, exhibitor or handler, spectator. It is distinctly understood that every dog at this show is in the care and custody and control of his owner or handler during the entire time the dog is on the show premises. 8. No grooming tables, pens or exhibitors setups will be allowed in the aisles and all grooming must be done away from the judging ring in areas specified by the club. Clubs are not responsible to loss or injury due to tenting not provided by the Fiesta Cluster. 9. Entry fees shall NOT be refunded in the event that a dog is absent, disqualified, sick, lame, excused by veterinarian or judge, barred from competition by action of the Bench Show Committee, or because the dog is ineligible to compete due to being entered incorrectly. There is no refund of entry fee for duplicate entry. There will be a $2.00 fee charged for cancellation of entry prior to closing of entries. 10. There is no provision offered for unentered dogs at this show. 11. Declination of Entries. The Arizona Collie Clan, Inc. may decline any entries for cause and may refuse to receive or may remove any dog on account of disease, viciousness or other causes, and no one shall have any claim or recourse against the Kennel Club or any official thereof. 12. If, because of riots, civil disturbances or other acts beyond the control of the management, it is impossible to open or complete the show, no refund of entry will be made. 13. Do not leave any dogs in closed vehicles. 15. Dogs which according to their owners' records have completed the requirements for a championship after the closing of entries for the show but whose championships are unconfirmed, may be transferred from one of the regular classes to the Best of Breed or Variety Competition, provided this transfer is made by the Superintendent at least one half hour prior to the start of the earliest Conformation judging at the Show. 16. Junior Handlers who win a third Novice Class after the Closing of entries for a show may transfer their entry from the Novice Class to the Open Class provided that this transfer is made by the Superintendent at least one half-hour prior to the scheduled start of the earliest conformation judging or one half-hour prior to the scheduled start of Junior Showmanship judging at the Show, whichever is earlier. 17. These will be “self-cleaning” shows. Cleaning equipment will be provided at various locations. Your help in providing a better show environment is requested and appreciated. 18. Liquor Rules and Regulations. It is against city of Scottsdale regulations and ordinances for any person or organization to bring upon the premises any alcoholic beverages unless a permit has been purchased from Scottsdale Parks and recreation. Tickets and fines will be imposed for non-compliance. No glass containers are allowed on the property. 19. Exhibitors not abiding by the rules may be subject to a show committee hearing and have their vehicles towed out of the area or ticketed. 20. All rights to advertise, publicize, televise, photograph or otherwise promote this Cluster or any part thereof are vested in each individual club on its show date or in persons to whom assignments of such rights have been made in writing by authorized officers of a particular club. All persons and animals on the Show Site at any time while the shows are in progress do, by attending and/or participating therein, grant to each club the right to photograph, televise, audiotape, or otherwise use their likeness and voice in any manner without further release or consent. 21. No practicing allowed in rings at any time. 22.
