AIA Hong Kong Honoured at the HKACE Customer Service Excellence Award
for 10th Consecutive Year
Four Prestigious Accolades Won in 2014 in Recognition of Top-of-Class Service
Hong Kong, 30 January 2015 – AIA Hong Kong’s professional customer service team has won the
“HKACE Customer Service Excellence Award” for the 10th consecutive year, presented by the Hong
Kong Association for Customer Service Excellence (HKACE). AIA Hong Kong won four accolades in
2014, giving the Company the second highest number of wins for the second year running and the
distinction of being the only insurance company honoured. These accolades are a testament to AIA Hong
Kong’s service excellence, delivering superior customer satisfaction.
Mr. Jacky Chan, Chief Executive Officer of AIA Hong Kong and Macau, said, “As one of the founding
members of HKACE, AIA Hong Kong shares the Association’s mission to promote customer service
excellence and provide quality service to customers. We are honoured to receive this prestigious industry
award for the 10th consecutive year. These accolades underscore the achievements of the Company’s
customer-centric culture. With a thorough understanding of customers’ needs and aspirations, AIA’s
customer service team and financial planners are fully committed to serving them. They provide the right
services and solutions, accompanying customers through the ups and downs of their lives. In doing this,

The four accolades which AIA Hong Kong won at the “HKACE Customer Service Excellence Award 2014”
were:

Silver for “Team Award -- Contact Centre Service”, to AIA Hong Kong’s Customer Service Hotline;

Silver for “Individual Award -- Contact Centre Service”, received by Virginia Wong, Senior Customer
Service Advisor, Call Centre Service Team

Bronze for “Service Appreciation Award”, presented to “AIA’s Appreciation Culture and Employee
Recognition Award” programme launched by Human Resources Department; and

Merit Award, the “Individual Award -- Counter Service”, was given to Ben Cheung, Customer Service
Advisor, Customer Service Counter Team.
Established in 2000, HKACE aims to promote the culture of customer service excellence in Hong Kong
and organises the “HKACE Customer Service Excellence Award” to recognise outstanding customer
service performance in enterprises and employees.
