MR2015 – Spinning to Perfection
Wir freuen uns, Sie auch im Januar 2015 zum Internationalen MRI
Symposium zu begrüßen. Das Symposium wurde vor genau 30
Jahren von Josef Lissner, John Doppman und Alexander Margulis
begründet und findet nun bereits zum 16. Mal in GarmischPartenkirchen statt.
Das Motto der Veranstaltung in diesem Jahr lautet ”Spinning to
Perfection“. Jahr für Jahr werden die etablierten MRT Techniken
weiterentwickelt und verbessert. Zudem werden ständig neue
Wege zur Beeinflussung des Kernspins aufgetan, um eine immer
genauere Bildgebung zu ermöglichen und damit einen Beitrag
zu dem zu leisten, was gemeinhin als „personalisierte Medizin“
bezeichnet wird. In einer interprofessionellen Zusammenarbeit
von Physikern und Radiologen können wir dieses Kernstück der
Bildgebung immer weiter verstehen und perfektionieren.
Das in langer Tradition gewachsene und bewährte Konzept des
MR-Symposiums in Garmisch mit dem 2-tägigen MRT-Grundkurs
und dem 3-tägigen Internationalen MRI Symposium wird auch
2015 beibehalten und mit einzelnen Neuerungen in Grundkurs
und Symposium bereichert. Übersichtsvorträge von international
anerkannten Experten zu Beginn einer jeden Sitzung, gefolgt von
fokussierten Vorträgen über die diagnostische Herangehensweise an einzelne Fragestellungen, spezielle Untersuchungstechniken und wissenschaftliche Entwicklungen, sollen den
Radiologen in Klinik und Praxis wichtige und nützliche Informationen für den klinischen Alltag vermitteln.
In den immer mit Spannung erwarteten Filmreading Sessions
können wir anerkannten Experten beim Befunden über die Schulter schauen, in den Meet the Expert Sessions in kleinen Gruppen
interaktiv schwierige und lehrreiche Fälle diskutieren.
Die gesamte Veranstaltung mit Grundkurs, Meet the Expert

MR2015 – Spinning to Perfection
We are delighted to present the 16th International MRI Symposium, to be held in Garmisch-Partenkirchen in January 2015. The
event will mark the 30th anniversary of the symposium, which was
established by Josef Lissner, John Doppman and Alexander Margulis in 1985.
The motto for the 2015 symposium will be ”Spinning to Perfection“. Every year, existing MRI techniques and sequences are
further refined, while new methods of influencing proton spins are
uncovered to allow even more precise imaging and more personalized patient care. The International MRI Symposium – an interdisciplinary gathering that brings together physicists and
radiologists – presents the latest advances in the continuously
changing field of MRI as it draws closer and closer to perfection.
For “Garmisch 2015”, the traditional structure of a two-day basic
course followed by a three-day international MRI symposium will
be maintained and enhanced. Keynote lectures by internationally renowned leaders in MRI will be accompanied by focussed
presentations on diagnostic decision-making, special MR techniques and emerging innovations. The always-interesting filmreading sessions will offer fascinating insights into the diagnostic
approaches of highly skilled interpreters of MRI, while the “Meet
the Expert” sessions will allow for interactive case discussions
between presenters and participants.
The entire meeting is accredited by the Bayerische Landesaerztekammer. Up-to-date information about the program as well as

Diese Veranstaltungen sollen eine noch bessere Verbindung zwischen
klinischer Forschung und praxisbezogener Anwendung der MRT
schaffen.
In insgesamt sieben separaten, gleichzeitig stattfindenden Sitzungen
können anhand von ausgewählten Fallbeispielen interessante oder
problematische Aspekte der MR-Bildgebung mit ausgewiesenen
Experten auf dem jeweiligen Gebiet diskutiert werden.
Sie sind herzlich eingeladen, Bilder und Fälle aus Ihrem eigenen klinischen Alltag mitzubringen und vorzustellen.
Die folgenden sieben Themenschwerpunkte werden angeboten:

4. MRT des ZNS
5. MRT des Herzens
6. HNO - Bildgebung

Die Anzahl der Teilnehmer pro Sitzung ist begrenzt, die Mindestteilnehmerzahl liegt bei 5 Personen. Zur Anmeldung nutzen Sie bitte die

Es wird keine Simultanverdolmetschung für die Meet the Expert-Sitzungen angeboten.
These sessions have been included in the program in order to create
an even better connection between clinical research and practical
application of MRI. In seven parallel sessions, interesting or problematic aspects of Magnetic Resonance Imaging can be discussed in
small groups with internationally acknowledged experts in the res pective areas of MRI:

will be available at the congress office on site. Please note that registrations can only be accepted through 15.01.2015. From 16.01.2015
on, registrations have to be made on site (subject to availability).
