CORRIGENDUM - III
Sub: Tender for supply and installation of IT related Equipment and
accessories to Namibia
The following amendments are hereby issued in connection with
above-mentioned tender.
Amendment No. 1
Clause 5.1 on Page 16 is now modified as below:
“The successful bidder is required to provide free service at site, including
repairing/rectification/replacement/configuration required, if any, during warranty
period of one year from the date of commissioning of IT equipment. The bidder
should submit along with the technical bid, the detailed plan for providing installation
and warranty services at site. Effective date for supply of IT equipment (except UPS
along with batteries) will be from the date of issue of purchase order. Effective date
for UPS along with battery will be from the date of issue of site readiness certificate,
issued by MEA. Warrantee of UPS along with batteries will be started from the date
of completion of installation of UPS at site”
Amendment No. 2
Clause 6.2 on Page 16 is now modified as below:
“2nd Payment milestone: 30% of the contract value against submission of following
documents:
(i)
a copy of acceptance by local dealer/service provider, in which it
would clearly indicate the plan/arrangement for installation, if it done
by local dealer/ service provider and warranty services. Acceptance
letter should be counter signed by the successful bidder.
(ii)
a copy of registration of own branch office/service centre or local
dealer/service provider in host country under the act of local/host
Government laws, which clearly indicate the own branch office/service
centre or local dealer/service provider is in IT business.
(iii)
a certificate of successful installation and commissioning of related
equipment issued by Government of Namibia and countersigned by
Indian Mission in Namibia.”

compliant after verification from the datasheet/ OEM compliance provided, the
bid shall be automatically rejected.
