Water and Sewer Projects
 The purpose of the Pre-PACE meeting conducted by
Allegany County is to meet with State and Federal
officials to discuss funding for Allegany County water
and sewer projects
 A booklet is distributed and discussed regarding
current, proposed, and future water and sewer
projects.
 Time is allowed for other jurisdictions to discuss their
projects

Funded Water Projects
 Mt. Savage – Completing house connections. A $11
million project with 61% grant
 Rawlings – Final phase is under construction. A $5.6
million project with 85% grant
 Fairgrounds Transmission Main – To be completed in
February. A $320,000 total grant project
 Bowling Green Improvements – Bid in February. A
$800,000 total grant project
 Allegany County is in competition to receive funding

Sand Spring Interceptor. A $1 million dollar project
with 50% grant
 Braddock Run Sanitary District – Wrights Crossing
Pump Station. A $3.7 million project with $732,000
grant
 Bedford Road Sanitary District – Mill Run Area
Improvements. A $1 million project with 87.5% grant
