Jana Revedin, Prof. Arch. PhD, born in Constance (D) in 1965, is a German Architect, Theorist and Writer. She lives and works in Wernberg, Carinthia (A). After her studies of Architecture and Urban Design in Buenos Aires, Princeton and Milan she was awarded her PhD and qualified as a professor at IUAV Venice in 1999 and is today full professor of Architecture and Design at Blekinge Institute of Technology in Sweden. The author of standard works on architectural theory and the Founding President of the LOCUS Foundation for sustainable urban development published her first novel “Lysis” (Wieser) in 2011, followed by “Up the Hazelnut Path” (Styria Premium 2013) and “Woman behind Hedges” (Styria Premium 2014). Her essays and short stories appear regularly in literature collections and well-known feuilletons. In 2014 Jana Revedin was knighted French Chevalière des Arts et des Lettres.
