Entry Fee:
$ 30.00 Per Kart Per Driver inclusive of GST and KA Driver Levy.
Includes Day Membership for Interstate entries.
$ 20.00 Per Kart Per Driver for each subsequent class for same driver.
$ 20.00 for a Driver Family Member (Dependent, Cadet 9, Cadet 12, Junior/s, Senior/s under
18 years of age)
Whyalla Kart Club will only accept Direct Deposit Payments for Race Day Entry Fees.

Close of Entry:
CMS entries close Wednesday 11pm prior to race date.
Late entries into CMS, contact Race Secretary as listed above.
Conditions of Entry:
Entries will be taken on the day, up until 4:00 pm. Entries after 4:00pm will not be accepted.
Late Payment for entry fee to be paid by cash on the day, and before close of sign in with correct amount no change
given.
Scrutineering Forms will be necessary for registration records for entries on the day.
No refund of Entry Fee will be paid to any entrant who cancels their entry after close of entry.
The Race Secretary reserves the right to allocate/change race numbers on the day.
The promoters reserve the right to abandon, postpone or cancel any event subject to General Rules, Chapter 1 - 24 of the 2015 KA
Manual.
As per Competition Rules, Chapter 1 - 9 of the 2015 KA Manual, the organizers reserve the right to combine classes or run
classes co-jointly.
Prizes:
Medallions will be awarded for 1st, 2nd & 3rd place overall in each class. The number of medallions awarded per class may be
revised downward in the event of low entry numbers per class. Results are eligible for the annual club championship.

Method of Racing:
Three heats of 12 laps, fourth heat of 16 laps.

Points System:
0,2,3 and so on.
All Points Count.
DNF to be awarded a finishing position based on the number of laps completed. Ties between drivers
who DNF on the same lap will be decided according to highest grid position for the race in
which the DNF occurred, as per Chapter 6 - 2d
DNS & DSQ to be awarded points totaling the number of entries on the grid sheet for heat 1 of that
class, plus 1point.
The winner of each class is determined by the lowest total accumulated points.

Transponders: It is compulsory for all competitors to have an AMB Transponder fitted to their karts for the purpose of lap scoring
and timing as per Competition Rules, Chapter 1 - 10 a)
Correct fitting (Technical Rules, Chapter 1 - 8 i ) and Maintaining Competition (Rules, Chapter 1 - 10 b)
Please place your transponder number in the space/or on your Scrutineering Form.
SCRUTINEERING PROCEDURE:
Drivers arriving after the close of scrutineering will only be scrutineered at the discretion of an Official.
All "P-plate" drivers are to present their karts for scrutineering at the allocated time prior to the commencement of practice
Please bring your completed scrutineering form and kart to the Out Grid.
All non "P-plate" drivers please leave your completed scrutineering form with the Race Secretary.
AKASA FIRST AID POLICY:
If St. John’s Volunteers or Senior First Aid personnel are not in attendance at this race meeting.
The race meeting will be cancelled.
AKASA HOT WEATHER POLICY:
If the weather forecast for race day at 6pm the day prior to the race meeting is 36 degrees or greater, all entrants will be notified by
phone or email of abandonment or postponement of the event.
Travelling Competitors:
Competitors travelling from other clubs, the Whyalla track can be made available for private practice on Saturday from 9:30am by
contacting Ron Florentinus 0428 797 665 / Dave Camwell 0499 014 009
General Notices.
No animals are permitted at the track other than those used by the disabled. Ball games, scooters, bikes and skateboards , etc. are
not permitted in the pits area, on either grid or the track, or around the canteen during practice and competition.
