Freshmen, if you have not done so yet, this semester is a good time to start working on your resume. A resume is a work in progress, always changing with each semester's grades, coursework, leadership or work experience. Volunteer with Let’s Get Ready one night a week. The non-profit is dedicated to helping low-income high school students prepare for the SATs and get into college. Volunteers assist in SAT prep, the college application process, and provide financial aid overviews. BC's branch of Let's Get Ready, through the BC Office of Governmental & Community Affairs, runs an after-school program at Brighton High School. There are opportunities for BC students to volunteer as Math or Verbal SAT Coaches.
