GENERAL INFORMATION The major effect of UniQ when applied at flowering on avocados is usually the enhancement and improvement of fruit shape, fruit size, fruit distribution and overall yield. Application after mid-summer pruning when vegetative re-growth is between 10 – 15 cm long provides suppression of this growth. Efficacy of UniQ may be reduced by very hard water (>1000 ppm solutes and / or alkaline water.) UniQ optimal efficacy will be obtained in water pH 4,5 – 5,5. This can be obtained by adding R.T. Buff (Reg No. L5777 Act 36/1947). Buffer must be added to the entire tank mix before addition of UniQ Use tank mix without delay and do not allow to stand for any length of time. DIRECTIONS FOR USE / USE RESTRICTIONS: Use only as directed UniQ may only be used on avocado cultivars Fuerte, Hass and Pinkerton. UniQ may only be applied to healthy , active growing trees which are not under stress. UniQ may not be used for any other purpose or on any other crop other than listed in this label. MIXING INSTRUCTION Shake container well before use. Close container securely after pouring required quantity of UniQ with a small amount of water. Pre-mix the required quantity of UniQ with a small volume of water. Half fill the spray tank with water and add the slurry while the water in the tank is being stirred. Add the required rate of foliar feed or a 28102003-10/12 4 registered anionic wetting agent at 0,05%. Add water to make up the desired spray volume. Keep the spray mixture agitated during mixing and spraying. CROP Avocados Only Fuerte, Hass and Pinterton DOSAGE 1 - 2 ℓ plus 2 ℓ foliar feed containing 71,1 g N/Kg + 79,5 g P/Kg or 0,05 ℓ anionic wetter / 100 ℓ water 500 mℓ + 50 mℓ suitable wetter / 100 ℓ water 28102003-10/12 REMARK At flowering – In fully grown orchards use 1200 ℓ spray mixture / ha. Reduce for smaller trees in proportion to tree size. Pruning application – apply after mid-summer pruning when vegetative growth is 10 – 15 cm long Note: Withholding period of 70 days between last application and harvesting. NOTE : 1. Actual dosage per tree depends on uniformity of flush, tree vigour etc. 2. Use UniQ on healthy nonstressed trees. 3. Growing conditions such as day length, temperature, water regime, season etc. can affect the plant response to this product
