Congratulations to Jennifer Cherry, the Force Support Squadron’s
newest star performer!
Through thick and thin, Ms. Jennifer Cherry is a pillar within the
Airman & Family Readiness Center - always willing to assist customers and coworkers alike.
While many here at Spangdahlem AB may know Jen from her work with the gym or her time
at the American Red Cross, they may not know just how integral she is to the daily operations
at the A&FRC.
Thank you Jen for all that you do for the 52d Force Support Squadron. You are a true asset to

Epitomizing resilience, Jen has shown she is a superstar under pressure -- she exhibits flexibility,
passion, and professionalism no matter what program she’s asked to manage! In her short
time since joining the A&FRC team, Jen has worked Transition Assistance, Employment,
Volunteer Resources, and is currently handling all things Relocation. Each week you can find
her greeting newcomers to the base at Newcomer’s Orientation -- if not there, she’s helping
newbies successfully adapt to their new home on the Trier Train Trip, or is preparing those
departing Spangdahlem for a smooth move to their next assignment! With current staffing
vacancies, you’ll find Jen helping out across the board. She is a high-energy, jack-of-alltrades who consistently thinks outside the box and we are proud to call her one of our own!

Tour de Germany
Individuals will run or cycle to various places
(either on the track, road, or cardio machines).
At each “destination” reached, the participant
will earn a prize until the run is done. This is a family
program so mileage ran can be added together.
Wall of Fitness
Based on Strength
Members will try to bench press, squat, or dead lift
weight, based on their body weight, to get their
pictures posted on the “wall of fitness”. They can lift in
any category or all categories. A t-shirt is received for
most weight lifted.
Row the Rhein
Participants will row the distance of the Rhein River
totalling 1233km or 765 miles. The program will be
divided into two separate categories. During the first
half of the program, members will row 615km or 383
miles. During the second half, members will row the
remaining distance. At each destination reached,
the participant will earn a prize.

The objective of the SAPI program is to provide a variety of
social & recreation opportunities through FSS recreational
activities, offer MWR-like skills classes to “create a single
Airman culture that supports the “whole person” -- healthy
