Last season we introduced a brand new geometry concept
across our entire road range. This is based on a Stack-toReach Quotient, which can be applied across a range of
frames, regardless of size. The figure determines a frame’s
geometry by looking at its effect on seat position.

Stack (E) is the height measured
from the centre of the bottom
bracket to the top of the head
tube on a vertical plane.
Reach (F) is the length measured
from the centre of the head tube
to the bottom bracket along a

Stack-to-Reach under 1.45

Designed for racers and triathletes. The Pro
Geometry provides a low and aggressive
riding position for better aerodynamics and
maximum speed.
SPORT PRO GEOMETRY
Stack-to-Reach between 1.45 and 1.55
Featured on all ULTIMATE models
HOW DO WE WORK OUT
THE STACK-TO-REACH QUOTIENT?
When we divide stack measurement by reach measurement, we get the Stack-­toReach Quotient. This value usually lies somewhere between 1.35 and 1.65. With
higher stack and smaller reach values, the greater the resulting Stack-To-Reach
Quotient.
A balanced geometry for enthusiasts. The
Sport Pro Geometry lays emphasis on performance while maintaining rider comfort.

offering either 120 mm (27.5”) or 110 mm (29”), the Nerve has the ideal amount of

DHX comes into its own. Designed for downhill domination and bike park action,
huge travel reserves (195–210 mm) turn every descent into a test to see just how
far you’re willing to push it. With an extended front centre providing outstanding
stability at speed, even when things do get sketchy, staying on the right line is not
a problem. Who wants to conform to gravity anyway?
Torque EX – The Torque EX will change your entire perception of what can be ridden.
This super enduro machine gives you all the reserves you need to go out and take on the
most extreme trails. Thanks to the bike’s Anti-Squat Kinematics, pedalling all the way
to the top is not a problem. When it comes to nailing the best lines back down, 180 mm
of travel provides everything you need to make it happen on the toughest terrain.

ROADLITE
The Roadlite AL continues its success as a road bike into its new form as the first model
in our Fitness range and shares several design features from our current road generation.
Hydraulic disc brakes provide full control no matter the conditions and combine with wide
28 mm tyres to guarantee extra grip and a smoother ride. VCLS seatposts significantly
reduce the impact of vibrations, while flat handlebars, ergonomically formed grips and comfortable saddles complement the balanced riding positon for pain-free riding. The Roadlite
AL offers new ways of combining performance and comfort for the Canyon range.

Components
Canyon has always prided itself on technical precision
and extracting the best performance from our products.
It therefore made sense for us to start developing our
own components, including seatposts, bars and stems,
to further enhance the connection between the rider
and our frames. From 2015, almost all Canyon bikes will
come equipped Canyon components in some form. These
parts have been developed right in line with the Canyon
design approach to ensure more comfort, high performance, and most importantly, safety. All Canyon products
have to pass our own stringent quality controls with flying
colours before being ridden. At our test lab in Germany,
we use an array of punishing rigs to expose these parts
to stresses that go above and beyond any industry standard. Our components fall into five different categories
so that they can deliver exceptional performance for their
intended use, from lightweight road bikes (Category 1) to
big-hitting gravity machines (Category 5) and everything
in-between. With these parts, we are further able to
further strengthen our core promises of quality, comfort
and safety when riding.

our new range of stems guarantees canyon performance, design and safety. optimised wall
thicknesses provide exceptional torsional stiffness but also help absorb vibrations from
the road or trail for more comfort. the face plate is a key component in ensuring rider
safety as well as dependable performance. As such, all face plates have a unique asymmetric construction and highly durable screws to aid correct setup for enhanced reliability.
All our stems seamlessly conform to the canyon design approach, making them the perfect
match for any one of our bikes.
