ContestRules ∗ Categories.K-2(posteronly),3-5,6-8,9-12 ∗ Thetheme“LocalHeroes,YourHardworkingPollinators” mustbeonyourposterandessaysubmission. ∗ No photographic images ∗ Poster size between 8.5”x11” and 22”x28”, and must be ϐlat or 2D. ∗ Essay must be between 300-500 words ∗ Must be student’s own work. Entries completed without More than 200,000 species serve as pollinators, including birds, bats, bees, butterflies, small mammals and lots of insects! adult assistance will be scored better. ∗ Each entry must have: student name, grade, school name ∗ Over 80 of the world’s plants need a pollinator to reproduce seeds!! Posters evaluated for Conservation Message (50%), Visual effectiveness (30%), Originality (10%) and Universal Appeal (10%) Contest Entries must be submiƩed to the HCSWCD office by March 27, 2015.
