¿Cómo dar aviso legal mediante publicación en el tribunal?
Estoy presentando una demanda de divorcio. ¿Debo Notificar a mi cónyuge?
La ley dice que cualquier persona solicitando un divorcio debe dar aviso legal.
¿Qué tengo que hacer si no sé dónde está mi cónyuge?
Si no sabe dónde está su cónyuge y no hay niños implicados, es posible que pueda dar aviso por medio de
publicación en el tribunal. Esto se conoce como aviso mediante publicación en el tribunal.
Puede dar aviso mediante publicación en el tribunal si:

Usted no puede encontrar a su cónyuge.

Usted y su esposo(a) no tienen niños menores de 18 años o niños mayores de 18 años que todavía
están en la escuela secundaria o son deshabilitados.

La esposa no está embarazada; y

La esposa no tuvo niños con ninguna otra persona durante el matrimonio.
Usted no puede dar aviso mediante publicación en el tribunal si hay niños implicados. Mire Cómo dar Aviso

¿Qué tanto tengo que buscar a mi cónyuge?
La ley dice que usted debe hacer una búsqueda diligente de su cónyuge. Sigua los siguientes pasos:

Averigüe si su cónyuge sigue viviendo en la última dirección conocida. Si no, pregunte a la oficina de
correo si hay una dirección de reenvío.

Pregunte a amigos, parientes, y antiguos empleadores si saben cómo contactar su cónyuge.

Verifique los libros/directorios de teléfono y asistencia para las ciudades donde su cónyuge pueda
estar viviendo.


el distrito donde su cónyuge pueda estar viviendo.


Pregunte al Departamento de Justicia Penal en Texas si su cónyuge está en prisión.

alguacil presentará su aviso por 7 días en el tribunal, luego completará un formulario de retorno de citación

Nota: Si usted o su cónyuge posee propiedad de valor significante, como una casa, usted también tiene que
