Retail food establishments that require and maintain current food safety education for 90% or more of their staff can receive a window cling and certificate from the Mesa County Health Department. Approved food safety education for this recognition program includes: The Mesa County Health Department food handler class (offered monthly) The Mesa County Health Department online class offered through Statefoodsafety.com ServSafe certification In order to receive the window cling and certificate from the Mesa County Health Department, facilities must complete the bottom portion of this page, provide a written policy and proof that their staff is trained using approved food safety education. Once the documentation is received, the certificate and window cling will be mailed to the facility. For more information on this program call (970) 248-6960.
