This month’s regular meeting for St. John’s Catholic Book Club has been moved
to Tuesday, November 15. Same time, 10:00am, and same place, Fr. Riffle
Center for Faith Formation.
We will be discussing Blood Brothers by Elias Chacour
Vocations Awareness Week begins this weekend and r uns thr ough
next weekend, Nov. 12-13. Religious Education, LifeTeen, and the
Vocations Seekers Committee are partnering to provide activities for
our young students and teens today and next Sunday. Vocations
information and prayer cards will be available this coming week in the
Chapel hallway, for parishioners who attend weekday Masses. Next
Sunday afternoon, Sister Sheila Cigich will be meeting with RE &
Lifeteen young ladies in grades 6-12 who'd like to learn about life as a
Sister. For more information about Sister Sheila's informal presentation, please contact Jim

St. John Vianney Society, Inc.
Do you have your 2017 MEN IN BLACK calendar yet? These unique calendars, a project of St.
John Vianney Society, feature 12 Idaho priests, including Bishop Peter Christensen, and are
designed to promote vocations and raise awareness of the priesthood. You will enjoy using
them every day of the year! Calendars are available for a suggested donation of $15 and will be
available after Masses on the weekends of November 12-13 and November 19-20. They are also
available in the parish office and at Reilly’s Church Supply. All proceeds are dedicated to
supporting Idaho seminarians and priests. For more information, call

Risen Christ Women’s Group Christmas Bazaar
From exquisite hand-blown glass and handcrafted treasures, to toys, jams, candles, jewelry and items for
home décor, there is something for everyone at this year’s Christmas Bazaar on Saturday, Nov. 12 from
9AM–4PM. Kids love to shop for family and friends in the Children’s Room, which features free gift
wrapping. Back by popular demand is the festive Christmas Room filled with holiday gifts and decorations.
Another favorite includes homemade cinnamon rolls and cookies sold by the pound. Homemade pies and
chili will be on sale. Proceeds benefit the local community. Please join us for this gathering of artists, crafters and
other vendors at Risen Christ, 11511 Lake Hazel Rd.
The “Love One Another” St. John’s Prayer Chain has begun. If you are interested in
participating in this ministry, please give us a call - Terry Caminiti @ 891-5691 or Kaye Seitz @6312639. At present we have had only eight members of the parish respond. God can do great things with
very little but we would love to have more people participating. Pray about it today and let the Holy
Spirit lead you.

Kelly. They minister for the Masses at

Corpus Christi House are in need of many
items. Clothing items include pants and
jeans (Men's size 34-40), shoes and boots,
men's and women's underwear (all sizes),

shampoo, deodorant in
travel sizes work the
