IUIS-ALAI-SMI ONCOIMMUNOLOGY-MEXICO COURSE

Description
A fundamental course on basic and clinical knowledge in the fields of
immunology and cancer. Invited speakers are well-recognised researchers with
proven expertise in basic and clinical tumor immunology research, as well as
teaching skills. The lectures will cover the major topics in the fields of tumor and
immunology. All lecturers will encourage interaction with the students throughout
lectures. Also there will be an opportunity for students to interact with the faculty
during the course.
Target Audience
The target audience will include clinical and research fellows, Postgraduates
students interested and currently performing research in disciplines related to
immunology and oncology; scientists or other research personnel from
biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies who are involved in developing new
therapies in the field of oncology and immunology, or require update their
knowledge in immunology.

All participants will have free access to teaching material via the web-based
Immunopaedia platform six weeks ahead of the course, and must familiarize
themselves with a good knowledge of basic immunology and oncology.
Fees
The registration fees will be:

$500.00 dls (five hundred American dollars)
before August 30 2016
•
$550.00 dls (five hundred and fifty American dollars)
between August 30 and September 8th, 2016.
Registration fees includes: accommodation in Hotel Mission San Miguel de
Allende (http://www.hotelesmision.com.mx/guanajuato_san_miguel.php) for 3
nights in shared room (2 guests maximum per room), breakfast, lunch, dinner,
coffee, hotel amenities. Also educational material, certificate of participation issued
by the SMI, ALAI and IUIS.

Awards
Scholarships covering full accommodation and course costs will be provided
to selected candidates. Selection will be made by a committee consisting of members
