SAVE THE DATE Saturday October 11, 2014 Seventh Annual Disability History, Awareness and Transition EXPO The Exceptional Student Education Department of St. Lucie County Schools and Indian River State College will collaboratively sponsor a Disability History, Awareness and Transition Expo on Saturday October 11, 2014 from 8:15 am – 12:20 p.m. The Expo will be held in The Kight Center, Building V at Indian River State College‐ 3209 Virginia Avenue, Fort Pierce. The Free Disability EXPO provides an opportunity for all interested persons in the community, educators and students preparing for education careers to learn about services, resources and strategies that benefit persons with various disabilities. There will be concurrent workshops occurring every 45 minutes. The EXPO is open to all persons interested in attending. There is no pre‐registration and no cost to attend. St. Lucie County School Board employees can earn in‐service points by registering through ERO. Presentations will be provided by Specialists from: St. Lucie County School Board, Indian River State College, Florida Diagnostic and Learning Resources, and The Center for Autism and Related Disorders.
