City of New Franklin 2016-2017 Recycling Information
The new carts will hold over 4 times as much as
your existing bins. So to increase the efficiency
of the collection routes and to reduce wear on
the roads, Republic Services will change from a
“weekly” recycling collection to an “Every Other
Week” service.
New carts will begin to be delivered starting
Tuesday, May 31, and will continue for the following
2 weeks or until all carts are delivered.
During the month of June, residents should continue
setting the small bins at the curb, as usual.
Beginning the week of June 13, collections will
transition to “Every Other Week.” Please use your
carts.
Please refer to the map and calendar on the
reverse side of this postcard.
Things to keep in mind:
Cart delivery to start Tuesday, May 31, 2016.

with Republic Services, call our Customer
Service Department immediately at
1-800-247-3644.
Recycling will continue to be picked up on the
same day as waste pick up ”Every Other Week.”
Collection days have NOT changed.
Waste pick up will continue to be picked up weekly.
Rates will NOT increase. For additional
information, log on to www.newfranklin.org.
Please recycle plastic food and beverage items
marked with #1-#5 inside a triangle. Paper
products must be removed from plastic bags,
and cardboard must be free of contaminants
(tape, styrofoam, etc.).
Styrofoam is NOT recyclable in this program.

to pay your bill, request damaged carts to be
repaired or order additional services.
