SEVENTEENTH SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME
First Reading: Genesis 18:20-32: Abraham bargained with God for the safety of the innocent.
Responsorial Psalm: Psalm 138:1-2, 2-3, 6-7, 7-8: “Lord, on the day I called for help, you answered me.”

Second Reading: Colossians 2:12-14: God nailed our sins to the cross of Christ.
Gospel: Luke 11:1-13: Jesus teaches us to pray and reminds us to persevere in prayer.
Today’s readings underscore the power of a good relationship with the Lord our God. Would it have been possible for Abraham
to bargain with God for the lives of the people in Sodom and Gomorrah had he not already known God well? And how can
we call God our Father unless we are personally familiar with the Lord? Today’s readings invite us to examine our relationship with God.

Anuncios de la Semana
Tiempo Ordinario – Ciclo C
Décimo Séptimo Domingo del Tiempo Ordinario
Entrada:

UNIVERSAL INTENTION:
That indigenous peoples, whose identity and very existence
are threatened, will be shown due respect.
INTENTION FOR EVANGELIZATION:
That the Church in Latin America and the Caribbean, by
means of her mission to the continent, may announce the
Gospel with renewed vigor and enthusiasm.

Tiempo Ordinario – Ciclo C
Décimo Séptimo Domingo del Tiempo Ordinario
Entrada:

Second Reading: Colossians 2:12-14: God nailed our sins to the cross of Christ.
Gospel: Luke 11:1-13: Jesus teaches us to pray and reminds us to persevere in prayer.
Today’s readings underscore the power of a good relationship with the Lord our God. Would it have been possible for Abraham
to bargain with God for the lives of the people in Sodom and Gomorrah had he not already known God well? And how can
we call God our Father unless we are personally familiar with the Lord? Today’s readings invite us to examine our relationship with God.
