Registration ends at 1:00 pm. Please be prepared to wait.
Staff attorneys and trained volunteers will assist eligible applicants in completing
citizenship applications
Community Outreach Program (Arlington County Department of Human Services),
COST:
$40 ($30 fee + $10 for pictures). We do not accept personal checks.
WHAT TO BRING:
•“Green card”/Legal Permanent Resident card (I-551), which includes your “A#”;
•All passports—current and expired—showing entry and exit dates from the US since you became a legal
permanent resident (LPR);
•Dates/addresses for all places where you have worked and lived in the last five (5) years;
•All data (place and date of birth, A#, green card, current address) for your spouse(s)—both current and
former. (Please note: if your spouse is a naturalized citizen of the US, please also bring a copy of the
naturalization certificate.);
•All data (place and date of birth, A#, green card, current address) for all children—including adult, adopted,
and deceased;
•A personal check or money order payable to “US Department of Homeland Security” at the time you submit
your application. The total application fee is $680.
 All records from Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) (tickets, DUI, license suspension, etc).
 Court Dispositions, in the event that you ever been arrested for any type of charges (if you do not bring
these documents with you, we won’t be able to assist you).
Depending on the seriousness of your criminal charges Hogar Immigrant Services reserves the right to decide whether to represent you.

At the time you apply you must have a good understanding of English and be able to converse
at an intermediate level.

INFORMACION REQUERIDA Los aplicantes deberán acercarse con lo siguiente:

• Todos sus pasaportes, vigentes y vencidos, con las fechas de entrada y salida de los Estados Unidos desde
que Ud logró el estado de LPR.
• Fechas y direcciones de los lugares donde Ud vivió y trabajó durante los últimos cinco (5) años.
• Fecha y lugar de nacimiento, A#, “Green Card” y dirección actual de sus esposa(o) y/o ex-esposa(o) y de todos
sus hijos (adultos, adoptados, difuntos).
• Si su esposa(o) es ciudadana(o) naturalizada(o) de los EEUU, copia del certificado de naturalización.
• Un cheque personal o money order por $680 girado a la orden de “US Department of Homeland Security”
 Su historial del departamento de vehículos motorizados (DMV) (multas, DUI, suspensión de licencia de conducir, etc).
 Disposiciones de la corte, en caso que usted haya sido arrestado/a por cualquier cargo (si no trae
consigo estos documentos no se le atenderá).
Dependiendo de la gravedad de los cargos delictivos en su contra Hogar Immigrant Services se reserva el derecho a decidir su representación.
