Email: [email protected] Gospel: Luke 7:36—8:3 Jesus forgives the woman’s sins. Our first reading and Gospel today focus on forgiveness. Indeed, God is capable of forgiving any sin, whether it be that of the sinful woman who anointed Jesus’ feet, or that of King David who had Uriah killed. Pope Francis has identified himself as a sinner; each of us is as well. As we hear these readings, perhaps we can reflect on our own sins in the light of God’s grace, and resolve to go to God with contrition in our hearts, that we too may be forgiven. ¡Qué incomparable ternura y cariño nos has demostrado!
