All containers need to be put out at the kerbside by 7am on collection days. Please separate materials for
recycling. Contact customer services helpline to arrange assisted collections or other services.
Kerbside Recycling Collections
Box 1: Paper. Glass bottles and
jars (unbroken only, not table or
cookware). Foil.
Box 2: Food and drinks cans please rinse. Aerosols - empty.
Plastic bottles - no tops.
Cardboard.
Also taken for recycling at Kerbside: Textiles – please put in bags and label ‘textiles’: Shoes - tied in
pairs and bagged: Car batteries - one per collection.
Food Waste Collections
Cooked and raw food waste, including meat, small bones, cheese, eggs, fruit,
vegetables, bread, pasta, tea bags, coffee grounds and paper kitchen towel.
Line with newspaper or compostable liners.
Garden Waste
Garden Waste is a charged for service for: Flowers, plants, grass and weeds; hedge prunings (no more
than 10cm thick); straw or sawdust (if bedding only from vegetarian domestic pets). This service is
suspended for one collection each year during the Christmas/New Year period.
