CicLAvia’s event hours are 9:00am–4:00pm on SUNDAY, May 15,
2016. The 10-mile route of CicLAvia streets will be closed to all
cars from 8:00am to 5:30pm. No vehicles or on-street parking will
be allowed on the route during this time. Cars can cross the route at
various major intersections (see map). Expect medium-to-long delays
on nearby streets due to the street closure.
El horario del evento de CicLAvia es de 9:00am a 4:00pm el
DOMINGO 15 de mayo 2016. Las calles de las 10 millas de la
ruta de CicLAvia estarán cerradas al tráfico de carros de 8:00am a
5:30pm. No podrán circular o estacionar a lo largo de la ruta durante
estas horas. Los carros pueden cruzar la ruta en varios cruces principales (v. mapa). Debe contar con retrasos considerables en el tráfico si
necesita manejar o viajar en autobús en ese día.
What is CicLAvia? CicLAvia is a non-profit that produces
temporary car-free days that transform streets into safe spaces for
thousands of people to bike, walk, play, and smile. CicLAvia is free
for all participants, connecting them to communities and to each
other. Most importantly, CicLAvia allows people to connect with
each other in a way that isn’t possible in a car.

que produce días libres de autos
y transforman las calles en espacios
seguros para que miles de personas puedan usar sus bicicletas, caminar, jugar y disfrutar. CicLAvia es gratis para todos los participantes,
connectándolos a las comunidades y a otros. Lo más importante es que
CicLAvia le permite a las personas a conectarse con cada uno de una
manera que no es posible en un automóvil.
What to do if you live/work on the CicLAvia route:
• Cars will be towed if parked on the CicL Avia route:
Cars parked on the route starting on SATURDAY, May 14 after
10pm will be towed. Please park your car elsewhere. Street
parking near the route may be restricted as well. Please check
posted parking restrictions signs.
¿Qué hago si vivo/trabajo en la ruta de CicL Avia:
• Los carros serán remolcados si están estacionado en la ruta de
CicLAvia: Los carros estacionado en la ruta comenzando el SÁBADO
14 de mayo después de las 10pm serán remolcados. Necesitará
estacionar en otro sitio antes del día de CicLAvia. Por favor ver las
señales sobre las restricciones de estacionamiento en las calles cerca
de la ruta antes de aparcar su auto.
• NO CAR ACCESS will be allowed on the CicL Avia route:
No cars will be allowed to enter or exit the route and all
driveways will be blocked starting on SUNDAY, May 15 from
8:00am–5:30pm due to the safety of CicL Avia participants.
• LOS CARROS NO TENDRÁN ACCESO en la ruta de CicLAvia:
No se permitirán la entrada o salida de carros en la ruta y todas las
entradas en la ruta estáran bloqueados comenzando DOMINGO
el 15 de mayo desde 8:00am a 5:30pm por la seguridad de los
participantes de CicLAvia.
• Parking reimbursements: If you are a resident or work directly on
the route, CicLAvia will reimburse you up to $20 per vehicle for any
parking cost you incur staring on SATURDAY, May 14 from 8pm
through SUNDAY, May 15 before 5pm. For reimbursement, mail
a copy of your parking receipt and proof of residence or employment to CicL Avia: 525 S Hewitt St, Los Angeles, CA 90013.
• Reembolsos de estacionamiento: Si su casa o negocio se encuentra
directamente sobre la ruta, CicL Avia le reembolsará hasta $20 por
vehículo por cualquier costo de estacionamiento que pueda tener
comenzando el SABADO 14 de mayo despues de las 8:00pm hasta el
DOMINGO 15 de mayo antes de 5:30pm. Envíe copia de sus recibos
