N EXECUTIVE CONSULTANT TO THE ARTS, Lynn M.
Holley will provide insight about what you need
to know to have your artwork exhibited or your
film presented in a festival during her Art Without
Limits Workshop scheduled for Tuesday, April 12th, from
5 to 7pm at Art From Scrap Gallery (302 East Cota St).
Holley is the resident curator of SBCAST, the new
Santa Barbara Center for Art, Science and Technology,
and also the part-time curator for Art @ the JCC, in the
Bronfman Family Jewish Community Center. She is also
Lynn M. Holley
the co-founder and director of the Fine Arts Film Festival,
which will premiere in several Santa Barbara venues this summer.

of Santa Barbara in an exhibition titled From Verse

la costa central presentará una interpretación tangible de las obras de los
poetas de Santa Bárbara en una exhibición titulada Del verso a lo Visual, a
la vista en el Centro de Artes del Pabellón Cabrillo (1118 E. Cabrillo Blvd)
hasta el 22 de mayo. Una recepción de apertura para los poetas y artistas tendrá
lugar el miércoles 13 de abril, desde las 5:30 hasta las 7:30pm en el centro. La

Algunas de las obras de los artistas son traducciones bastante literales, otras
son más abstractas.”
Recorridos de la exhibición guiados por docentes se ofrecerán el 23 de abril
y el 21 de mayo a las 10am.

Aparacio-Chamberlin cuenta historias de la vida cotidiana en sus obras
de arte a la vista en el Centro Multicultural de UCSB hasta el 10 de junio.
Una recepción de apertura para Paz y amor: hacen la paz está prevista
para el martes 12 de abril, a las 6pm en el Salón Multicultural.
“Disfruto desmitificar el proceso de hacer arte utilizando medios artísticos
comunes, mezclando los medios, y pintando sobre las luchas, la belleza, y los
triunfos de la gente común,” compartió Aparacio-Chamberlin.
