Los primeros cristianos estaban familiarizados con los salmos porque rezaban con ellos. Esta cercanía hizo que los
meditaran y estudiaran buscando claves para comprender la revelación de Dios en Jesús. Los llamados ‘salmos mesiá­
nicos’ tuvieron un papel decisivo en este proceso, pues hablaban del ungido a quien Dios había sentado a su derecha y
declarado hijo suyo. El presente simposio trata de esclarecer cómo la interpretación de estos salmos contribuyó a
formular algunos conceptos claves de la Cristología.
The first Christians were familiar with the Psalms because they prayed with them. This proximity facilitated their
meditation and study in order to understand the revelation of God in Jesus. The so-called "Messianic Psalms" played a
decisive role in this process, because they spoke about the anointed whom God will sit on his right hand, and declared
his Son. The purpose of the Symposium is to clarify how the interpretation of those Psalms contributed to the formulation
of some key Christological notions.
