WRITING EVALUATION
Elaborate a summary about the lecture Time to Help Out. Analyze the lecture and
then express and write your ideas.
Time to Help Out
The story is about some boys and girls who wanted to help people in need, and
they wanted to do something together, people must help each other. One day
they planned a “cleaning up our city” event. They will motivate and inspire
people to work with them cleaning the city. Everybody should volunteer to
improve the community.
The kids decided to use their talents to invite people to join their cause, without
seeking compensation or reward. It was a great and wonderful idea! But they
asked to each other: “how do we know what our talents are?”
One of them will make people laugh, sharing happiness instead of sorrow to the
people in need. Isn´t great?
Another boy was good at sports so he inspired people around him to participate.
He will be a good leader.
In the nursing home a girl sang to the people, like she wasn’t bad about it, in the
contrary, she was really good she helps by recording a song to convince the old
people to participate, not only young people can contribute!
A boy painted a mural to contribute and invite the opponents to the event.
At the end of the story everybody is helping to clean-up the city, having a great
time together. Kids realized they can organize and use their talents to help their
community because sometimes society is very disorganized.
