Benediction & Adoration
of the Blessed Sacrament
Sunday , November 22nd
3:00pm-4:00pm
in the Church
The solemnity of our Lord Jesus Christ the King
indicates the end of the liturgical year. The Church, because of her
wisdom, proclaims that Jesus is really the Lord of the time and the
eternity. The Liturgical year helps us on our path to salvation
showing that life has a meaning, a future: being with God. You are
invited to spend an hour with our Lord in adoration of the Blessed
Sacrament, in giving thanks for this year, in the joyful wait of
Advent, in the contemplation of mystery of "God-with-us", in
faithful of his mercy that opens the door of the world that comes.
We should profess our faith and trust in Christ as our King, and
proclaim before the whole world our loyalty and our devotion to
Him.

Veneración y Adoración
del Santísimo Sacramento
Domingo, 22 de Noviembre
3:00pm-4:00pm

Secular Order of Discalced Carmelites
Do you have a call to the Secular Order of Discalced Carmelites?
Secular Carmelites are Catholic men and women, either married or
single, lay or clerical, who follow a Rule of Life and a formation
program that fosters the Carmelite tradition under the protection of
Mary, Queen of Carmel. They do this according to the teachings of St.
Teresa of Avila and St. John of the Cross in a way appropriate for lay
persons. They participate in community monthly meetings and in their
everyday life they give witness to the value of prayer and works in the
world while seeking intimacy with God. If you are interested to know
more about the Secular Order of Discalced Carmelites, and/or would
like a brochure or to attend a meeting, please call Marie Fournier,
President at 566-3313 or
Sylvia Escobar, Director of Formation at 596-9841.
