Convocatoria a concurso público de merecimientos y oposición
DOCENTES-INVESTIGADORES
El Instituto de Altos Estudios Nacionales, en cumplimiento con la Ley Orgánica de Educación Superior, el
Reglamento de Carrera y Escalafón del Profesor e Investigador del Sistema de Educación Superior, el
Reglamento Interno de Carrera y Escalafón del Profesor e Investigador del IAEN y la Resolución de
aprobación de Consejo Académico Universitario No. RES-S028/No.117/2015 de 19 de octubre de 2015,
convoca al concurso público de merecimientos y oposición para docentes-investigadores para seis
vacantes en las siguientes categorías y campos de conocimiento:
Docente-Investigador Agregado 1 en Políticas Públicas
Docente-Investigador Agregado 1 en Relaciones Internacionales
Docente-Investigador Agregado 1 en Derecho Constitucional
Docente-Investigador Auxiliar 2 en Economía Pública
Docente-Investigador Auxiliar 2 en Integración Económica
Docente-Investigador Auxiliar 2 en Derecho Administrativo
El docente-investigador agregado 1 tendrá una remuneración mensual de US$ 3.600,00 y el docente-investigador auxiliar 2
tendrá una remuneración mensual de US$ 2.783,00, más los beneficios y menos los descuentos de ley.
Los ganadores tendrán dedicación exclusiva y a tiempo completo en la sede IAEN, en Quito-Ecuador.

RESEARCH FACULTY
The National Institute for Advanced Studies, the Graduate University of the Ecuadorian State, in compliance with the Higher
Education Act, the Regulations of the Career and Salary Scale for Professors and Researchers in the Higher Education System,
the Internal Regulations on the Career and Salary Scale in the National Institute for Advanced Studies, and the Academic Council’s
Resolution No. RES-S028 / No. 117/2015 of October 19, 2015, announces a merit-based public tender for six vacancies in the
following categories and fields of knowledge:
Associate Professor 1 in Public Policy
Associate Professor 1 in International Relations
Associate Professor 1 in Constitutional Law
Assistant Professor 2 in Public Economics
Assistant Professor 2 in Economic Integration
Assistant Professor 2 in Administrative Law
The Associate Professor 1 will have a monthly salary of US $ 3,600.00 and the Assistant Professor 2 will have a monthly salary of US $
2,783.00, plus benefits and minus legal deductions.

During the opposition phase, applicants can participate in person or online. This will be coordinated
