Latin American Catalog Librarian. (9/00- ) Tulane University, Howard-Tilton Memorial Library.
Performs original and complex copy cataloging of materials in all formats (print and audiovisual materials, and
electronic resources) on subjects relating to Latin America. Assigns Library of Congress classification and Library
of Congress subject headings; applies national cataloging standards as defined in the Anglo-American Cataloging
Rules (2nd ed. rev.), Library of Congress interpretations of these rules, and the MARC21 formats for bibliographic,
authority, and holdings data. Contributes bibliographic and authority records to OCLC under the terms of the
library’s participation in the BIBCO and NACO programs.
