completed our Parent Survey! The results for the Parent Survey will be shared during our Site
Council meeting scheduled for November 4th at 5:00pm. If you were unable to meet with
your son/daughter’s teachers, you may call our office to schedule an appointment, or feel

We'd like to express thanks to our 1st quarter coaches, students and families who helped make the start of the 2015-2016 athletic season
a success. We were able to witness great moments of athletic talent among our student athletes and look forward to the 2nd quarter
Boys' Basketball and Girls' Soccer season. Head Coach, Ludolfo Cota, Assistant Coach, Jobnicholas Villanueva, and Girls' Basketball
Assistant Coach, Aline "JoJo" Soto (Rio Rico High School Alumni) are our talented coaches that will be inspiring our basketball athletes to
go the distance this basketball season. Head Coach, Aurelio "Chato" Villaegas and Assistant Coach, Carlos Chavez are our talented Soccer
coaches who will also take our soccer athletes to, hopefully, another winning streak! Our finalized game schedules are ready for you to
pick up at our front office. Please see Ms. Del Rio for any questions. We thank you for all your support as we help our student athletes
find their talents and go the extra mile toward success!! Go Cavaliers!!!"

CYBERBULLYING - Networking with friends through technology is on the rise and parents should monitor their child/children‘s
interactions closely. Many children interacting on technological devices are falling into the category of Cyber bullying. Cyber bullying
is bullying that takes place using electronic technology. Electronic technology includes devices and equipment such as cell phones,
computers, and tablets as well as communication tools including social media sites, text messages, chat, and websites.
Examples of cyber bullying include mean text messages or emails, rumors sent by email or posted on social networking sites, and
embarrassing pictures, videos, websites, or fake profiles. Many times the Cyber bully does not come out until it is in the hands of
another parent, schools or worst case scenario in law enforcement hands. Don’t let your child fall victim and always monitor activity/
usage to be on the safe side.
21st CCLC News
Parents, please note that homework help is available for
students from 6:30 to 7:30 a.m. 4 days a week. If your child
needs help with homework, you can bring them to the library in
the morning. No sign up is required.
STUCO will
be offering Football Friday: NFL Day on Friday,
November 20. Students can purchase a wristband pass for 2 cans of
food + $1.00. STUCO will be sell wristbands and collect food in the
MPR from 7-7:30aqm M-Th (11/16—11/19) STUCO fundraising
committee is proud to be partners with the local Rio Rico Rotary in
efforts to also support local family food needs.

The 21st CCLC after school program offers many opportunities
for your child to strengthen their reading and math skills,
complete homework, and develop their personalities skills. Since
participation is offered to all students, space is limited. It is in
the best interests of your child to attend the program regularly
to benefit from the services offered. We request your support in
helping your child attend regularly.
National Junior Honor Society
NJHS will be hosting a penny drive from 11/2—11/12. All
money will be donated to the Crossroads Mission in
Nogales.
IMPORTANT REMINDER FOR PARENTS:
The week of November 2nd—6th all
CTMS students will have the second
round of MAP testing. Please make sure
that your student is in school ever day ,
gets plenty of rest, and eats a healthy
breakfast.

nuestros entrenadores del 1er trimestre, los estudiantes y las familias que ayudaron a que el inicio de la temporada atlética fuera un éxito.
Pudimos presenciar grandes momentos de talento atlético entre nuestros estudiantes atletas y esperamos lo mismo de segundo trimestre de
baloncesto de hombres y soccer de mujeres. EL entrenador de baloncesto, Ludolfo Cota, y su asistente Jobnicholas Villanueva y también
asistiendo la entrenadora “JoJo” Soto (ex alumna de Rio Rico High School). Estos entrenadores talentosos estarán inspirando a nuestros atletas
para llegar muy lejos esta temporada! Para soccer los entrenadores son Aureliano “Chato Villegas y su asistente Carlos Chávez. Son muy
talentosos y también llevaran a nuestras atletas a una temporada gran temporada.. Tenemos los horarios de juegos disponibles en nuestra
oficina y en el calendario que va adjunto a este boletín. Doy las gracias a todos los padres por apoyar a estos talentosos atletas en sus estudios al
igual que el campo de juego!

La
comunicación con amigos por medio de las redes sociales va en aumento y los padres deben supervisar las interacciones de sus
hijos cercanamente. Muchos que interactúan en dispositivos tecnológicos están cayendo en la categoría de acoso cibernético. Esto
es la intimidación que se lleva a cabo utilizando equipos electrónicos tales como celulares, computadoras y tabletas . Utilizan los
sitios de medios sociales , mensajes de texto, chat y paginas web. Ejemplos de acoso cibernético incluyen textos y correos
electrónicos groseros enviados o puestos en redes sociales. Fotografías o videos no apropiados o embarazosos. Muchas veces no
nos enteramos del acoso cibernético hasta que llega a manos de los padres, escuelas o peor aun a manos de las autoridades. No
caigan victimas, estén siempre al pendiente de las actividades y el uso de tecnología de sus hijos.
Noticias del Programa 21stCCLC
Padres, tenemos ayuda para las tareas para los estudiantes por las
mañanas de las 6:30—7:30 am en la biblioteca de la escuela. Usted puede
traer a su estudiante sin necesidad de registrarlo.
El programa 21stCCLC que ofrecemos después de la escuela ofrece muchas
oportunidades para que su estudiante mejore en lectura y en matemáticas,
termine sus tareas y desarrolle su personalidad. Ya que la participación se
ofrece a todos los estudiantes el espacio es limitado. Es en el mejor interés
de su estudiante asista al programa regularmente para beneficiarse de los
servicios ofrecidos por el programa. Solicitamos su apoya para ayudar a su
estudiante a que asista regularmente.

STUCO ESTA OFRECIENDO Viernes de Futbol: Día de NFL en viernes, 20 de
noviembre. Los estudiantes pueden comprar una pulsera con dos latas de
comida + $1.00. STUCO estará vendiendo las pulseras en el MPR de 77:30am de lunes a jueves del 11/16-11/19. STUCO se une a los esfuerzos
del Club Rotario de Rio Rico para ayudar con las necesidades de comida a
familias locales.
