Al Madina Logostic Servicies Company, encarga la construcción de su centro de distribución en Barka (Omán) a Assigna
Infraestructuras.
Assignia Infraestruturas gana el concurso para la eliminación de obstáculos en el aeropuerto de Málaga, contrato valorado en
más de 10 millones de euros, ejecutado en seis meses.
El ministro de Fomento inaugura la nueva línea de Cercanías Sevilla-Benacazón, cuyo tramo II ha sido construido por Assigna y
otras empresas del grupo.
Primer contrato en Republica Dominicana. Diseño y construcción de cuatro tanques postesados, para la Corporación del Acueducto
y Alcantarillado de Santo Domingo, que mejorarán el abastecimiento a una población de 600.000 habitantes. El contrato está
valorado en 24 millones de euros.
El Ministrio del Interior encarga a EOC de Obras y Servicios la Construcción del nuevo Centro Universitario de la Guardia Civil, en
la Academia de Oficiales de Aranjuez.
Primer contrato de carreteras en México, se trata de la modernización y ampliación del tramo Sonoyta-San Luis Rio Colorado de
la Carretera Federal nº 2, adjudicado a Assignia por la Secretaría de Comunicaciones y Transportes del Gobierno de México, con
un presupuesto de 15 millones de euros.
El grupo Essentium firma un acuerdo con el Ministerio de Vivienda y Hábitat del Gobierno de Venezuela para la ejecución de 3.264
viviendas en Santa Teresa de Tuy, Estado de Miranda. El proyecto, supone una inversión de más de 127 millones de euros y se
ejecutará mediante el innovador Método Constructivo Habitacional, desarrollado por MCH.
Inauguración Hospital Villa Libertador Príncipe de Asturias. Córdoba. Argentina. Es el primer hospital diseñado, construido y
equipado íntegramente por Eductrade, es decir Eductrade no solo planificó y suministró el equipamiento médico, sino que también
realizó el diseño arquitectónico y la obra civil, instalaciones, etc.
Assignia refuerza su cúpula directiva. Susana Monje, nueva presidenta de Assignia Infraestructuras, que renueva asimismo
el consejo de administración. Se crean dos direcciones generales; infraestructuras y actividades industriales y
construcción y servicios.
Niplan se integra en el grupo Essentium. Niplan es una de las grandes empresas brasileñas de
construcciones y montajes industriales, especialista en contratos EPC (ingeniería, suministro y
construcción). Emplea a más de 4.000 trabajadores y tiene importantes clientes en los sectores
químico, petroquímico, petróleo y gas, siderurgia, metales, papel y madera, minerales,
farmacéutico y automovilístico.

Dear Friends,
We present another year’s report of the Essentium Group, detailing our activities
and achievements in 2011. Our intention is to exercise transparency and reflect
the economic and social performances of the Essentium group in a comprehensive
and global manner.
We understand the word ¨global¨ as the ability to identify those projects in which
we can provide value and offer our technological advantages in various geographical, economic, social, political and cultural settings. Governments and institutions
of different countries have recognized this and have chosen us for various contracts despite facing tough international competition.
Four years ago we drew a simple but coherent roadmap to get through these years
that are full of challenges and also opportunities. We positioned Essentium internationally as a competitive and integrated provider of materials, infrastructure,
energy, industrial plants and services. In 2009 we acquired Assignia, one of the
largest and most experienced, unlisted infrastructure companies, in 2010 we incorporated Bester Generation, market leader in renewable energy and finally, in
2011, the third pillar of our vision: Niplan becomes part of our group, one of Brazil’s
major construction and industrial assembly companies, which specialises in EPC
contracts with major clients in the chemical, petrochemical, oil and gas, steel,
metals, paper and wood, minerals, pharmaceutical and automotive sectors.
Supported by these three pillars, our framework is stronger than ever. Profitability
and income levels are very satisfactory, but what is really important is that they
are a result of a productive organizational structure that has proven to be very robust and competitive in highly heterogeneous environments, and that signals a
promising future in years to come.

Queridos Amigos:
Presentamos un año más la Memoria del Grupo Essentium, que detalla nuestras
actividades y logros durante el pasado 2011. Nuestra intención es, en ejercicio
de transparencia, reflejar el desempeño económico y social del Grupo Essentium
de una manera comprehensiva y global.
Entendemos la globalidad como la capacidad de identificar aquellos proyectos
en los que aportar valor y ofrecer nuestras ventajas tecnológicas en diversos
entornos geográficos, económicos, sociales, políticos y culturales. Gobiernos y
entidades de muy distintos países así lo han reconocido y nos han seleccionado
para relevantes contratos en dura competencia internacional.
Hace cuatros años dibujamos una sencilla pero coherente hoja de ruta para
atravesar estos años llenos de desafíos y también de oportunidades. Se trataba
de posicionar internacionalmente a Essentium como un proveedor competitivo
e integrado de materiales, infraestructuras, energía, plantas industriales y servicios. En 2009 se produjo la adquisición de Assignia, una de las mayores y
más experimentadas empresas no cotizadas de infraestructuras, 2010 fue el
año de incorporación de Bester Generación, compañía puntera en renovables
y, en 2011, el tercer pilar de nuestra visión: Niplan entra a formar parte de
nuestro grupo, una de las grandes empresas brasileñas de construcciones y
montajes industriales, especialista en contratos EPC y con importantes clientes
en los sectores químico, petroquímico, petróleo y gas, siderurgia, metales, papel
y madera, minerales, farmacéutico y automovilístico. Sustentado en estos tres
pilares, nuestro armazón es más firme que nunca.
La rentabilidad y el nivel de ingresos son muy satisfactorios, pero lo realmente
importante es que son consecuencia de una estructura productiva y organizativa
que ha demostrado ser muy sólida y competitiva en entornos muy heterogéneos, y que nos augura unos esperanzadores años venideros.

CANTERA DE LA INMORA (JAÉN)
A 3 km. de Jaén, La cantera de La Imora es una de las principales explotaciones de áridos de la provincia. Cuenta con una
producción de 450.000 tn. al año. La planta de proceso tiene una capacidad de 300 tn/hora.
CANTERA “LA ESPARTOSA” EN URDA (TOLEDO)
Cantera de piedra caliza con capacidad de producción de 400 tn/hora. Fabrica de arenas, gravas, zahorras y escolleras destinadas a diversos usos: hormigón, asfalto, obra civil, etc. Tiene una superficie de 35 has. y cuenta con unas reservas de 12
millones de toneladas. Producción anual de 550.000 tn.
GRAVERA “LA HARINA”, EN JEREZ DE LA FRONTERA (CÁDIZ)
Tiene una superficie de 50 Has y unas reservas de 5 millones de toneladas. La cantera tiene una planta de tratamiento de
áridos con una capacidad de 250 t/hora. Producción anual de 600.000 tn.

Three kilometres from Jaen, the Inmora quarry is one of the main aggregate quarrying sites in the province. It has a production

grupo dedicadas a esta actividad podemos señalar:
UNIVERSAL CIMENTO (TURQUÍA)
Propietaria de dos licencias cementeras en Turquía para la construcción y posterior explotación de dos líneas de Clinker de
5.000 Tm/día. Universal Cimento ha estado activa en el negocio de “Trading” de cemento durante el año 2011.
ESSENTIUM MAROC (MARRUECOS)
Compañía poseedora de la licencia para construir y explotar una fábrica integral de cemento en Nador (Marruecos) de capacidad
6.000 Tm de Clinker al día. La nueva planta cementera, cuyos trabajos preparatorios se han iniciado en 2011, tendrá capacidad
para producir 2,2 millones de toneladas de cemento anuales y ocupará 35 has., en una de las zonas de mayor crecimiento
del Magreb.
ESSENTIUM CEMENT EESTI (ESTONIA)
En 2011 se han iniciado los trabajos preliminares, una vez obtenidas las licencias, para poner en marcha una molienda de
clinker en el Puerto de Sillamae (Estonia). La planta, con una capacidad de 500.000 Tm/año, ocupará 60.500 m2 en el puerto
estonio de Sillamae.

The company possesses a license to build and operate an integrated cement factory in Nador (Morocco), which has a capacity
6,000 tonnes of clinker per day. The new cement plant, for which preparatory work was started in 2011, will have a capacity
to produce 2.2 million tonnes of cement per year and will occupy an area of 35 hectares, in one of the fastest growing areas
in Maghreb.
CEMENT ESSENTIUM EESTI (ESTONIA)
After obtaining the necessary permits, preliminary work was started in 2011 to set up a cement plant in the port of Sillamäe
(Estonia). The plant, with a capacity of 500,000 tonnes / year, will occupy 60,500 m2 in the Estonian port.

La división de hormigones dispone de una tecnología de última generación para el montaje y gestión de plantas de hormigón
con amasadora para la obra civil. En relación a nuevos mercados, se han realizado durante el año 2011 los estudios de localización y viabilidad para el montaje de plantas fijas para mercados locales en Marruecos (Tánger, Nador y Casablanca), Colombia
y Brasil.
PLANTA DE HORMIGÓN DE LANGREO
Durante 2011 se ha finalizado el montaje e instalación de la Planta de Hormigón de Langreo. Se trata de un modelo CP5003
de FRUMECAR, con una amasadora de 3m3 de amasada de la firma Galleti. La planta tiene una capacidad de producción de
80m3/h amasados. La planta está instalada en una parcela de 3.000 m2 de superficie en el polígono La Moral de Langreo, y
abastecerá a la zona de las cuencas mineras, Oviedo y Gijón de todo tipo de hormigones y morteros.
PLANTA DE HORMIGÓN EN GIBRALTAR
Situada en el aeropuerto de Gibraltar, es una planta con amasadora de 3 m3, que dispone de una capacidad de producción de
70 m3 por hora, destinada a la fabricación y suministro de hormigón para los nuevos accesos al aeropuerto de Gibraltar, donde
se va a construir un túnel bajo la cabeza de la pista para desviar el tráfico rodado y evitar los continuos atascos generados
por las operaciones del aeropuerto. Esta obra demanda un volumen de hormigón de 85.000 m3.

The division has a concrete art technology for assembling and managing concrete mixer plants for civil works. In relation to
new markets, have been made in 2011 the location and feasibility studies for the installation of fixed plants for local markets
in Morocco (Tangier, Nador and Casablanca), Colombia and Brazil.
LANGREO CONCRETE PLANT
In 2011, the assembly and installation of the Langreo concrete plant was completed. It is a FRUMECAR CP5003, with a 3 m3
Galleti mixer. The plant has a production capacity of 80 m3 per hour. The plant is located on a 3,000 m2 plot in the La Moral
de Langreo, industrial area, and to supply all types of concrete and mortar to the coalfields area, Oviedo and Gijón.
CONCRETE PLANT IN GIBRALTAR
Situated in the Gibraltar airport, this plant has a 3 m3 concrete mixer, which has a production capacity of 70 m3 per hour, for
the production and supply of concrete for the new access roads to the Gibraltar airport. A tunnel will be built under the runway
to deflect and avoid traffic caused by ongoing airport operations; this work requires 85,000 m3 of concrete.

MEJORA DEL ABASTECIMIENTO A SANTO DOMINGO
Assignia infraestructuras ha sido adjudicataria del contrato para la construcción de cuatro depósitos de abastecimiento de
agua a la capital de la República Dominicana. La compañía ha sido la ganadora, a través de licitación pública internacional,
de esta obra para la Corporación del Acueducto y Alcantarillado de Santo Domingo (CAASD), ente público del gobierno dominicano. La actuación cuenta con un presupuesto de 31 millones de dólares y un plazo de ejecución de 18 meses. Además,
Assignia también ejecutará un sistema de tuberías de 2.000 metros de longitud para el abastecimiento de un sector de la
capital dominicana, a través de otro contrato valorado en 3 millones de dólares. La actuación que realizará Assignia servirá
para mejorar el abastecimiento a una población de 600.000 personas. La construcción de los cuatros depósitos, que tendrán
una capacidad de 30.000 m3 cada uno, forma parte del sistema Acueducto de Santo Domingo-Barrera de Salinidad. Los
tanques de agua tendrán un diámetro de 54,25 m. y una altura efectiva de 13 m. Con esta obra, se mejorará de forma importante la capacidad de regulación de todo el sistema de distribución de Santo Domingo, aumentando la garantía de los caudales
disponibles en la red y su entrega regularmente en los sectores más necesitados del abastecimiento a la ciudad.
CARRETERA FEDERAL Nº 2 DE MÉXICO
Assginia Infraestructuras, ha sido también adjudicataria del contrato para ampliación y mejora de una carretera en el estado
mexicano de Sonora, al noroeste del país, en una zona limítrofe con la frontera de EEUU. La compañía ha sido la ganadora,
en licitación internacional, de la actuación en esta carretera federal, concretamente, del tramo Sonoyta-San Luís Rio Colorado.
El valor total del contrato asciende a casi 15 millones de euros, y fue firmado con la Secretaría de Comunicaciones y Transportes
de México el pasado 3 de octubre. Assignia se encargará de ensanchar y mejorar esta vía de comunicaciones en un tramo de
unos 32 kilómetros de distancia. Así, la calzada de la carretera pasará de los 7 metros actuales a los 12 metros del proyecto
final. Para ello se moverán más de 500.000 metros cúbicos de tierras y se fabricarán y extenderán unos 50.000 metros cúbicos
de aglomerado.

IMPROVEMENT OF WATER SUPPLY TO SANTO DOMINGO
Assignia Infraestructuras has been awarded the contract for the construction of four water reservoirs in the capital of the Dominican Republic. The company has won this project through international competitive bidding, for the Water and Sewerage
Corporation of Santo Domingo (CAASD), a public body of the Dominican government. The government has a budget of 31
million dollars and the execution period is 18 months. In addition, Assignia will also create a system of pipelines, 2,000 meters
long to provide water supply to areas of the Dominican capital, through another contract worth 3 million dollars. This project
aims to improve water supply to a population of 600,000 people. The construction of the four reservoirs, which have a capacity
of 30,000 m3 each, is part of the Santo Domingo Aqueduct Salinity Barrier. The water tanks have a diameter of 54.25 m. and
a height of 13 m. This project will significantly improve the ability to control the entire water distribution system in Santo
Domingo, increasing the flow rates available in the network and regularly delivering to the neediest areas of the city.
FEDERAL HIGHWAY # 2, MEXICO
Assginia Infrastructure, has also been awarded the contract for extension and improvement of a highway in the Mexican state
of Sonora in the northwest of the country, in an area bordering the U.S. border. The contract, which refers specifically to the
section Sonoyta-San Luis Rio Colorado, was won in an international bidding. The total contract value amounts to almost 15
million euros, and was signed with the Mexican Ministry of Communications and Transport on October 3 of last year. Assignia
is responsible for widening and improving communications on this section of road which has a 32 kilometre range. The carriageway of the road will increase from 7 metres to 12 metres. 500,000 cubic metres of earthworks will be carried out and
50,000 cubic metres of agglomerate will be manufactured and used.

ELIMINACIÓN DE OBSTÁCULOS DEL AEROPUERTO DE MÁLAGA
Con un presupuesto de 9,7 millones de euros y un plazo record de ejecución de 6 meses. Assignia y EOC de Obras y Servicios
han llevado a cabo los trabajos de eliminación de obstáculos del Sistema General Aeroportuario del Aeropuerto de Málaga.
Estas obras han tenido como objeto la certificación del aeródromo en la primera categoría, y para lo cual se han llevado a
cabo trabajos de movimientos de tierras, drenajes, remodelación de arquetas y de caminos perimetrales, nuevos centros de
transformación y equipos de navegación aérea y un plan de ayudas visuales indicadoras de obstáculos.
ACUERDO ENTRE ADIF Y ASSIGNIA PARA EL DESARROLLO DE PROYECTOS
FERROVIARIOS EN COLOMBIA
Adif prestará apoyo técnico a Assignia para participar en licitaciones relacionadas con la modernización de la red ferroviaria,
en el contexto de los importantes planes que impulsa el Gobierno colombiano. Assignia y Adif unen sus capacidades técnicas
y tecnológicas para contribuir a la consolidación de España como una potencia tecnológica ferroviaria a nivel mundial. El
presidente de Adif, y la presidenta de Assignia Infraestructuras, Susana Monje Gutiérrez, han suscrito un convenio de colaboración para el desarrollo de proyectos ferroviarios en Colombia, con el fin de impulsar el proceso de internacionalización del
sector ferroviario español.
En virtud de este acuerdo, Adif prestará su apoyo a Assignia para participar en licitaciones relacionadas con la modernización
de la red ferroviaria en Colombia, en el contexto de los importantes planes de modernización que impulsa el Gobierno de este
país para el periodo 2011-2014. En aquellas ofertas en las que Adif y Assignia decidan participar conjuntamente, la entidad
pública actuará como asistente técnico tanto en la fase de proyecto y construcción como para la explotación ferroviaria.

ELIMINATION OF OBSTACLES FROM MALAGA AIRPORT
The project was executed with a budget of 9.7 million euros and within a record time of 6 months. EOC, Works and Services
and Assignia have carried the elimination of obstacles of the General Airport System of the Malaga airport. One of the objectives
of this project was to receive the aerodrome certification in the first category, for which the following works have been carried
out: earthworks, drainage, remodelling of tube banks, and perimeter roads, new transformer stations, air navigation equipment
and a plan indicating obstacles through visual aids.
ADIF ASSIGNIA AGREEMENT BETWEEN DEVELOPMENT AND PROJECT RAILWAY IN
COLOMBIA
Assignia will receive technical support from ADIF to participate in tenders for the modernization of the railway network, for important plans promoted by the Colombian Government. ADIF and Assignia join their technical and technological expertise to
promote Spain as a railway technology power worldwide. ADIF’s President and the President of Assignia, Susana Monje Gutierrez, have signed a collaboration agreement for the development of railway projects in Colombia, in order to promote the internationalization of the Spanish railway sector.
Under this agreement, ADIF will help Assignia participate in tenders for the modernization of the railway network in Colombia,
in context of the major modernization plans promoted by the Colombian Government for the period 2011-2014. In the tenders
where Assignia and ADIF and jointly decide to participate, the public entity will act as a technical assistant in both the design
and construction phases and in the operations of the railway.

“CIUDAD BICENTENARIO”. 3.264 VIVIENDAS EN VENEZUELA
El grupo Essentium firmó un acuerdo con el Ministerio de Vivienda y Hábitat del Gobierno de Venezuela para la ejecución de
3.264 viviendas en la población de Santa Teresa de Tuy, en el Municipio de Independencia dentro del Estado de Miranda. El
contrato lo ejecutan las filiales Assignia Infraestructuras y Método Constructivo Habitacional (MCH).
El proyecto, denominado “Ciudad Bicentenario”, supone una inversión del Ministerio de más de 127 millones de euros y se
ejecutará sobre una superficie de 47 hectáreas. Se prevé la construcción de viviendas de dos dormitorios con 64 metros
cuadrados y de tres dormitorios con 72 metros cuadrados.
El conjunto residencial está proyectado en un entorno urbanizado de forma integral junto con espacios de zonas verdes, espacios educativos, de usos mixtos y comerciales. Se dispondrá de más de 78.000 m2 de zonas verdes y de 48.000 m2 de
equipamientos.
“Ciudad Bicentenario” ha considerado en su diseño la tecnología constructiva más avanzada. Por ello la mayor parte de la
construcción se realizará mediante procesos industriales en zonas habilitadas a tal fin. Se trata del “Método Constructivo
Habitacional”, técnica constructiva de última generación, avalada por el Instituto de Ciencias de la Construcción Eduardo
Torroja, y que cuenta con el marcado CE y los certificados de calidad más exigentes. El método constructivo habitacional
permite la industrialización del proceso de construcción de una edificación desde la cimentación hasta la entrega llave en
mano.
Esta actuación se enmarca en la Gran Misión Vivienda de Venezuela gracias a la que se construirán 150.000 viviendas en
2011 y otras 200.000 durante el próximo año.

The Essentium Group has signed an agreement with the Ministry of Housing and Habitat of the Government of Venezuela to
construct 3,264 homes in the town of Santa Teresa de Tuy, in an independent township in the State of Miranda. The contract
will be executed by Assignia and Housing Construction Method (MCH). The project, called "Bicentenary City ", consists of an
investment of more than 127 million euros; it is spread over an area of 47 hectares and includes the construction of two-bedroom homes of 64 m2 and three bedrooms homes of 72 m2. The residential complex is designed in an urban environment in
a comprehensive manner with green areas, educational, commercial and mixed use spaces. It has a parking area of more
than 78,000 m22 and 48,000 m2 of facilities and services.
In terms of design, “The Bicentenary City " is considered the most advanced with respect to the construction technology used.
The major part of the construction process will be industrialised in areas designated for this purpose. This is the "Housing
Construction Method", which consists of cutting-edge construction techniques, backed by the Eduardo Torroja Institute of
Building Sciences, and has the CE mark and the highest quality standard certificates. The "Housing Construction Method", allows for the complete industrialization of the construction process of a building from the laying of foundation to key in hand.
This project is part of ¨The Great Housing Mission of Venezuela¨ which aims at constructing 150,000 homes in 2011 and
another 200,000 in the following year.

EDIFICIO PARA LA ESCUELA DE OFICIALES DE LA GUARDIA CIVIL EN ARANJUEZ
El Ministerio del interior encargó a EOC de Obras y Servicios la construcción del nuevo edificio para la Escuela de Oficiales de
la Guardia Civil, que se ubica en la zona central del parque de los Sotos Históricos de Aranjuez, dentro del actual complejo de
la Academia Especial de la Guardia Civil. El uso característico del edificio es docente con habitaciones para residencia eventual
de alumnos destinada a la formación de Oficiales. El contrato tiene un presupuestos de 18,7 millones de euros y un plazo de
ejecución de 30 meses.
El edificio plantea encontrar la forma, la volumetría, la morfología y la tipología de ordenación espacial acordes con la arquitectura de Aranjuez, para traducirla a términos, criterios y sistemas constructivos contemporáneos, acordes con la significación
actual de la Guardia Civil: una Institución que necesita este edificio de ámbitos actuales y de tecnología avanzada. El nuevo
edificio atiende a Planta en U, tomando como referencia la fuerte simetría del Palacio Real.
La capacidad del edificio está prevista para la residencia de 454 alumnos, con más 22.000 m2 de edificación, que incluyen:
• Vestíbulo principal y secundario. Muro memorial.
• 104 habitaciones para 4 alumnos cada una
• 19 habitaciones para 2 alumnos cada una (con baño)
• 12 aulas con separación interior y 7 aulas más pequeñas
• Salón de actos compartimentable en 4 (completo con dotaciones y capacidad total de unas 736 plazas aproximadas
con sala restringida de personalidades)

SCHOOL BUILDING FOR THE CIVIL GUARD POLICE OFFICERS IN ARANJUEZ
The Home Affairs Ministry has commissioned EOC, Works and Services for the construction of the new School of Civil Guard
officials, located in the central area of the Sotos Históricos park in Aranjuez, within the existing Special Officers Academy. The
building is an educational centre for the training of officers with residential facilities for the students. The contract has a budget
of 18.7 million euros and an execution period of 30 months.
The building’s shape, its volume, morphology and spatial typology is consistent with the architecture of Aranjuez, translate it
into terms, criteria and contemporary building systems, in accordance with the current significance of the Civil Guard: an
institution that requires this building and current areas of advanced technology. The new building forms a U shape, using the
strong symmetry of the Royal Palace as a reference.
The section of the building allotted for residence of the students has a capacity for 454 students, over an area of 22,000 m2:
• Primary and secondary Lobby. Memorial wall.
• 104 rooms for 4 students each
• 19 rooms for two students each (with bathroom included)
• 12 classrooms with internal separation and 7 smaller rooms
• Auditorium (complete with facilities and a total capacity of 736 seats with

MCH. MÉTODO CONSTRUCTIVO HABITACIONAL
MCH, Método Constructivo Habitacional permite la industrialización del proceso de construcción de una edificación desde
la cimentación hasta la entrega llave en mano. MCH es un sistema completamente abierto que permite la combinación
con otros sistemas constructivos, tanto tradicionales como no tradicionales.
Actualmente MCH desarrolla su actividad productiva en Venezuela y en Angola. En 2011 se ha logrado la obtención del
Marcado CE y se han obtenido los certificados Aenor e IQnet del Sistema de Gestión de la Calidad ISO 9001, el Certificado
del Sistema de Gestión Ambiental ISO 14001, y el Certificado de Sistema de Gestión Seguridad y Salud en el trabajo OHSAS
18001.
Durante 2011 se ha ejecutado la promoción de 66 viviendas en Bargas, con unos suministros de 4.200 m2 de panel portante
de hormigón, 2.000 m2 de tabique de cartón yeso prefabricado y 200 ml. de cornisa prefabricada. También se realizó el
suministro de 800 m2 de paneles de hormigón de cerramiento para la ejecución del Mercado Garcia Grana en Málaga.
En el exterior, en 2011 se firmó el contrato para la ejecución de 3.264 viviendas en Santa Teresa del Tuy (Venezuela) con
el sistema constructivo MCH y un presupuesto de 165 millones de dólares y se terminó la fábrica de paneles y tabiquería
prefabricada con T.E.U. en Lubango (Angola), con la cual se van a empezar a construir 200 viviendas unifamiliares.
Las perspectivas para 2012 incluyen la contratación de viviendas o servicios dotacionales con el sistema constructivo MCH
en España, América y África.

HOUSING CONSTRUCTION METHOD
MCH, Housing construction method allows the industrialization of the construction process of a building from the laying of the
foundation to key delivery. MCH is a completely open system that can be combined with other traditional and non-traditional
construction systems.
MCH currently carries out its operations in Venezuela and Angola. In 2011 it received its CE marking along with the AENOR and
IQ Net Quality Management System ISO 9001 certificate, Environmental Management System ISO 14001 certificate, and the
Certificate Occupational Health and Safety OHSAS 18001.
In 2011, MCH constructed 66 homes in Bargas, with supplies of 4,200 m2 of concrete support panels, 2,000 m2 of prefabricated
plasterboard and a 200 ml. precast cornice. MCH also supplied 800 m2 of concrete cladding panels for the Garcia Grana Market
in Malaga.
In addition, MCH signed the contract for the execution of 3,264 homes in Santa Teresa del Tuy (Venezuela), using the MCH
building system with a budget of $ 165 million. A factory for prefabricated partitions and panels was completed in Lubango
(Angola), which will now be used for the construction of 200 houses.
The prospects for 2012 include the housing or equipment supply service contracts using the MCH system in Spain, America
and Africa.

HIDROELÉCTRICA
Essentium centra gran parte de su actividad de generación de energía en el campo de la tecnología hidroeléctrica, especialmente en Turquía, segunda potencia en este tipo de energía de Europa.
La energía hidroeléctrica es una energía renovable y segura, sin emisiones de CO2, que permite generar a bajo coste y sin
dependencia de las variaciones de los precios de combustibles. Es una alternativa de interés para países emergentes, ya que
permite, tras rigurosos estudios medioambientales, el aprovechamiento energético de embalses que tienen entre sus usos, el
abastecimiento de poblaciones, la prevención de avenidas, y la irrigación de cultivos.
Durante el ejercicio 2011 ha estado operativa la planta de Yesil en Sivas (Turquía) de 14 MW de potencia. Además, durante
este ejercicio se ha continuado con los planes de construcción de otras seis centrales hidroeléctricas en ese país, con una potencia prevista de más de 82,6 MW, cuyas obras e instalaciones en diciembre de 2011 se encontraban en distinto grado de
avance.

HYDROELECTRIC POWER
Essentium focuses a large part of its activity on hydroelectric power generation especially in Turkey, the second major player
in this sector in Europe.
Hydroelectric power is a renewable and safe energy that is CO2 free, which enables low-cost power generation that is not
affected by fuel price fluctuations. It is an interesting alternative for emerging countries, as it allows the utilization of energy
created by the reservoirs, which is then used to provide water supply to towns and cities, helps prevent flash flooding and can
also be used to irrigate crops.
In 2011, the Yesil 14 MW plant in Sivas (Turkey) was put into operation. In addition, plans to build six more hydroelectric plants
the country have continued, with an expected power output of more than 82.6 MW, the works and installations for these plants
as of December 2011 are at an advanced stage .

CENTRAL HIDROELÉCTRICA DE YESIL (TURQUÍA)
La central hidroeléctrica de Yesil está situada en las proximidades de la ciudad turca de Sivas. Cuenta con una potencia
instalada de 14 MW y durante el año 2011 suministró 45 GWh a la Red Eléctrica Nacional de Turquía.
CENTRAL HIDROELÉCTRICA DE CAYKARA (TURQUÍA)
Se trata de una instalación de 34 MW (3 turbinas), cuya construcción se inició en 2011 y que servirá para suministrar energía
eléctrica a la red nacional turca. La central tiene un salto hidráulico de 127 metros, un caudal de diseño de 23,6 m3/s y está
localizada en Rize. Consta de un túnel excavado en roca de más de 6 kilómetros de longitud, que servirá para conducir el
agua hasta el punto de generación de energía eléctrica.

The Yesil hydroelectric power plant is located on the outskirts of the Turkish city of Sivas. It has an installed capacity of 14 MW
and in 2011, it supplied 45 GWh of power to the Turkish national electricity network.
CAYKARA HYDROELECTRIC POWER PLANT (TURKEY)
Construction of this 34 MW installation (3 turbines) started in 2011 and it will be used to supply electricity to the Turkish
national network. The plant has a hydraulic drop of 127 metres, a design flow of 23.6 m3/s and is located in Rize. It consists
of a tunnel excavated in rock more than 6 kilometres long, which will be used to guide the water up to the point of power
generation.

PLANTAS DE GENERACIÓN DE ENERGÍA SOLAR EN ITALIA
En 2011 el grupo Essentium entró en el competitivo mercado italiano de las energías renovables a través de sus dos filiales
Bester Generación y Assignia Infraestructuras, que firmaron diversos contratos llave en mano para diseñar y ejecutar plantas
de generación de energía en el Sur de Italia.
Bester Generación, continuando con su desarrollo de negocio en el sector fotovoltaico en Italia en 2010, incrementó la contratación de proyectos de 5 MW a 17 MW en 2011, distribuido en distintas regiones del territorio italiano. Además, se produjo
la apertura del mercado francés con una planta fotovoltaica de 10,5 MW en Istres. El presupuesto total de estas plantas se
elevó de 15,9 a millones de euros a 66 millones de Euros.
Por su parte Assignia Infraestructuras obtuvo en 2011 el contrato para el diseño, construcción y mantenimiento por diez años
de 5 plantas fotovoltaicas en Basilicata, por un valor total de 14,4 millones de euros.

Turnkey projects or Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) projects enable our customers to avail of the most innovative technology in solar thermal, photovoltaic or hydroelectric plants.
The Essentium group manages these projects from start to finish, selecting and developing the most suitable solution for each
type of environment in accordance with the stipulated legal, environmental and financial constraints of each region, in addition
to providing operational maintenance for the plants.
SOLAR POWER GENERATION PLANTS IN ITALY
In 2011, the Essentium group entered into the competitive Italian renewable energies market through its two subsidiaries;
Bester Generación and Assignia Infraestructuras, and have signed several EPC contracts to design and construct power generation plants in the south of Italy.
Bester Generación has continued its business development in the photovoltaic sector in Italy throughout 2010 and in 2011, increased its project contracts from 5 MW to 17 MW distributed in different regions of Italy. In addition, it has entered the French
market with a 10.5 MW PV plant in Istres. The total budget for these plants has risen from 15.9 million euros to 66 million
euros.
In turn, Assignia Infraestructuras has won a design, construction and 10 year maintenance contract of five photovoltaic plants
in Basilicata, totalling 14.4 million euros.

termosolar, que suman una potencia instalada total de 180 MW.
Las plantas operadas y mantenidas por el Grupo disponen de las más innovadoras tecnologías de captación solar; sistemas
termosolares de torre y captadores cilíndricos parabólicos. De esta manera, Essentium es una de las empresas líderes en este
servicio para este tipo de centrales a nivel mundial, por ser una tecnología nueva y que se encuentra en pleno lanzamiento en
multitud de países, entre ellos Estados Unidos, que han seguido con interés los buenos resultados alcanzados en España.

DESALINIZADORA DE OROPESA Y CABANES EN CASTELLÓN
Esta planta desalinizadora, supone una inversión de más de 55,5 millones de euros. La desalinizadora se ubica en Cabanes,
junto al límite del término con Oropesa del Mar. Ambos municipios son los principales beneficiarios, junto con Benicàssim, de
su producción, lo que supone una población de unas 150.000 personas.
En la primera fase, la planta generará 21,5 hectómetros cúbicos al año de agua potable, ampliables, hasta 43 hectómetros
cúbicos, por lo que las obras de toma de agua de mar, las conducciones de agua bruta a planta y el sistema de evacuación
de la salmuera de rechazo se construyen ya dimensionados para esta segunda fase.
Tanto el sistema de desalación como la configuración y distribución de las líneas de tratamiento se han diseñado para optimizar
el rendimiento de agua desalada y, al mismo tiempo, aprovechar la alta presión de agua de rechazo para mejorar también el
rendimiento energético.

DESALINATION OF OROPESA AND CABANES IN CASTELLÓN
This desalination plant involves an investment of more than 55.5 million euros. It is located in Cabanes, on the border with the
Oropesa del Mar municipality. Both municipalities are beneficiaries of the plants production, along with Benicàssim, thus representing a population of around 150,000 inhabitants.
In the first phase, the plant will generate 21.5 cubic hectometres of drinking water per year, which can be extended to 43
cubic hectometres in the second phase, as the works for the sea water tapping point, raw water conduits to the plant and the
reject brine evacuation system have already been sized accordingly.
Both the desalination system and the configuration and distribution of the treatment lines have been designed to optimise the
desalinated water output while improving energy efficiency by using the high pressure of the rejected water.

Como hecho relevante destacamos la inauguración Hospital Villa Libertador Príncipe de Asturias en Córdoba. Argentina. Es el
primer hospital diseñado, construido y equipado íntegramente por Eductrade, es decir Eductrade no solo realizó el equipamiento
medico, sino que también realizo el diseño arquitectónico y la obra civil, instalaciones, etc.
CLÍNICA SVELTIA
Las instalaciones de la clínica tienen 1.000 m2 aproximadamente repartidos en dos plantas y situadas en el céntrico barrio del
Eixample de Barcelona. Cuenta además con departamentos de medicina estética, odontología estética y tratamientos estéticos.
Entre sus instalaciones encontramos un gimnasio, una sala de actos, una ludoteca para los niños y un centro de estilismo.

The Hospital Villa Libertador Príncipe de Asturias in Córdoba, Argentina is the first hospital designed, built and equipped entirely

SVELTIA CLINIC
The clinic facilities has a floor area of approximately 1,000 m2, spread over two floors and located in the central district of
Eixample in Barcelona. It also has departments of aesthetic medicine, cosmetic dentistry and aesthetic treatments. The facilities
include a gym, an auditorium, a games room for children and a styling centre.

Fundado el 24 de abril de 1928, el Club Deportivo Toledo es uno
de los clubes históricos de España. Su tradición y potencial le convierten en uno de los signos de identidad de Castilla-La Mancha,
es una de las entidades más reconocidas de la región y la que
cuenta con mayor seguimiento mediático al ser equipo de la
capital de la Comunidad Autónoma.
Es uno de los equipos históricos de baloncesto del país, con una
larguísima tradición deportiva y que actualmente disputa la Liga
ACB. Lleva el nombre de la compañía de infraestructuras del
grupo, que se ha convertido, esta temporada y hasta junio de
2013, en el espónsor principal del equipo manresano y, por ello,
ahora el equipo se llama Assignia Manresa.
Mantiene una escuela de fútbol para más de 200 niños. Juega en
el Estadio El Salto del Caballo, con capacidad para 5.500 espectadores.
Los inicios de este club se remontan a 1931 y desde entonces el
equipo ha conseguido para su palmarés títulos como la Copa del
Rey, la Liga ACB y la Lliga Catalana. El equipo tiene una fuerte implantación popular, como lo demuestra el hecho de tener más de

Founded on 24 April 1928, Club Deportivo Toledo is one of the oldest football clubs in Spain. It has formed a part of the identity of
Castilla-La Mancha as a result of its popularity. It is one of the
most widely recognised institutions in the region with a huge
media following, as it is the team of the capital of the region.
Manresa is one of the oldest basketball teams in the country, with
a long sporting tradition that is currently competing in the ACB
league. The team, now called Assignia Manresa, holds the name
of the group's infrastructure company, the teams main sponsor
from this season until June 2013.
It has a football school for more than 200 children. The team plays
in the El Salto del Caballo stadium, which can hold up to 5,500
spectators.
The start of this club dates back to 1931. Since then, the team
has won several titles such as the Copa del Rey, the ACB league
and the Lliga Catalana. The team has a strong fan base, which is

El servicio de prevención mancomunado cuenta entre sus filas
con 14 técnicos superiores en prevención de riegos laborales.
El pasado agosto de 2011 Método Constructivo Habitación obtuvo
la certificación del Sistema de Seguridad y Salud conforme a la
norma OHSAS 18001. Además durante el pasado año las

el índice de frecuencia han bajado un 19% respecto a 2010, y son
un 52% inferiores a la media del sector.
En cuanto al índice de gravedad, se ha reducido un 43% respecto
a 2010, y es un 64% más bajo que la media del sector.

I+D+i, según la norma UNE 166:002. Este certificado es valorado por las administraciones públicas, y supone un reconocimiento en España a los sistemas de las empresas que desarrollan actividades de Investigación, Desarrollo e Innovación, pues a través de auditorías externas que realizan entidades acreditadas por ENAC (Entidad Nacional de

El grupo Essentium tiene un sistema de gestión medioambiental
que responde a las exigencias de la especificación internacional
UNE EN ISO 14001, Sistemas de Gestión Medioambiental de la
International Organization for Standardization.

En julio de 2011, Método Constructivo Habitación obtuvo la certificación del Sistema de Gestión Medioambiental conforme a la
norma ISO 14001. Además, durante el pasado año las siguientes
empresas del grupo renovaron la certificación que emite la Asociación Española de Normalización y Certificación (Aenor): Acanto,
Acentia, Acister, Alvartis, Arquinver, Azarbe, Assignia, EOC de Obras
y Servicios, EOC Galicia, Hifer, Illenca y Niplán.
En 2011, Método Constructivo Habitación obtuvo la certificación
CE de control de producción en fábrica, para los paneles de
hormigón que fabrica, conforme a la norma UNE-EN 14992:2008
(EN 14992:2007), y también la certificación del Sistema de
Gestión de la Calidad conforme a la norma ISO 9001. Además durante el pasado año las siguientes empresas del grupo renovaron
la certificación que emite la Asociación Española de Normalización
y Certificación (Aenor): Acanto, Acentia, Acister, Alvartis, Arquinver,
Azarbe, Assignia, Eductrade, EOC de Obras y Servicios, EOC Galicia, Hifer, Illenca y Niplan.
ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT
POLICIES
The Essentium group has an environmental management policy
that meets the requirements of the international specification UNE
EN ISO 14001, Environmental Management Systems, of the International Organisation for Standardisation.
In July 2011, MCH (Housing Construction Method / Método Constructivo Habitaciónal) obtained the Environmental Management
certificate according to the ISO 14001 standard. In addition, last
year the following companies in the group renewed the certification issued by the Association Spanish Standardisation and Certification (AENOR): Acanthus, Acentia, Acister, Alvartis, Arquinver,
Azarbe, Assignia EOC Works and Services, EOC Galicia, Hifer,
Illenca and Niplán.
QUALITY MANAGEMENT POLICIES
The Essentium group has a quality management policy that meets
the requirements of the international specification UNE EN ISO
9001, Quality Management Systems, of the International Organisation for Standardisation.
In 2011, MCH (Housing Construction Method / Método Constructivo Habitaciónal) was given the CE certification for control of factory production for the concrete panels it manufactures, according
to the UNE-EN 14992:2008 (EN 14992:2007), and certification
system Quality Management according to ISO 9001. In addition,
the following group companies renewed their certifications issued
by the Spanish Association for Standardization and Certification
(AENOR): Acanthus, Acentia, Acister, Alvartis, Arquinver, Azarbe,
Assignia, Eductrade, Works and Services EOC, EOC Galicia, Hifer,
Illenca and Niplan.
