ATTENDANCE
Daily attendance in all your classes is an
essential part of your education. When you are
absent, your parent or guardian should call the
school each day of your absence, NOT when you
return to school. Please call (760) 944-1892 ext.
6605 - 24 hours a day. If your parent/guardian
does not call, you must bring a note to the
attendance office window upon your return.
Regular, prompt attendance is the responsibility
of each family. The only valid excuses are:
illness, medical appointments, a death in the
immediate family, mandated court appearances,
or religious holidays. Absence for reasons other
than those listed above will be classified as
unexcused.
TARDIES
Tardies, like absences, affect students’
education and increases the chance of failure.
Tardies also interrupt the classroom and
interfere with the learning process.
“I DON’T FEEL WELL”
All students who are feeling ill and need to go
home will be picked up at the Health Office (G7)
regardless if the parents were contacted by a
student or by the Health Tech.
PARENT CALLS & MESSAGES
We request parent cooperation in limiting
classroom interruptions.Lunches, supplies,
forgotten books and assignments, or telephone
messages will be delivered the end of the
period. Every time a classroom door is opened,
concentration and instruction are interrupted.
OFF-CAMPUS PASSES
If you need to leave school for a doctor’s
appointment, etc., your parent/guardian must
contact or come into the attendance office to
make arrangements for your pass. All students
MUST be picked up and signed out through the
attendance office.
MISSED ASSIGNMENTS
You are expected to make up work missed due
to excused absences. For full day or single
period absences, you should contact an in-class
“study buddy”, teacher’s website, or Aeries
Parent Portal.
VISITORS ON CAMPUS
The campus is CLOSED to all student visitors
from other schools. If a parent/guardian would
like to visit with a staff member, please email or
call the staff member you want to visit and
make an appointment. We appreciate your help
to ensure the safety of all students. ALL
CAMPUS VISITORS ARE REQUIRED TO SIGN IN
AND WEAR A VISITOR’S BADGE.
ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY
All students have a right to a safe and secure
learning environment. The San Dieguito Union
High School District has resolved to provide
direction regarding behavioral guidelines and
has adopted and supports a “zero tolerance”
policy for weapons possession, for repeatedly
instigating fights, and for other behaviors that
could create an unsafe environment. School
and district-wide discipline and safety plans
include suspension and the possibility of
expulsion. Students will face disciplinary action
ranging from conference to expulsion, subject to
case-by-case exception.

*Law Enforcement - Since these problem areas
violate state law, school officials may notify
appropriate law enforcement authorities. If this
occurs, school officials will make an attempt to
notify a parent or guardian. Any action law
enforcement authorities take will be in addition
to the action taken by the school.
Suspension and Expulsion - During a period of
suspension, it is at the discretion of each
individual teacher whether assignments will be
provided or credit will be given; however,
students are always encouraged to complete all
required course work. If a student has been
recommended for expulsion, a formal hearing
will be conducted in accordance with the
Education Code and district policy. Students
and parents will be notified in writing and given
additional instructions regarding their due
process rights. The final decision on expulsion
will be made by the San Dieguito Union High
School District Governing Board of Trustees.
Mandatory Expulsion - Education Code Section
48915© was amended to require principals and
superintendents to immediately suspend and
recommend expulsion for any of the following
offenses:
1. Possessing, selling, or otherwise
furnishing a firearm.
2. Brandishing a knife at another
student.
3. Unlawfully selling a controlled
substance.
4. Committing or attempting to commit
a sexual assault.
5. Possession of an explosive.
Due Process - Compulsory school attendance is
a right that can be abrogated only through due
process to include a conference to be informed
of the charges and an opportunity to deny the
charges and present evidence. (5114/AR-1)
Appeal - The pupil, parent, or guardian has the
right to appeal to the superintendent any
decision to suspend, and the right to appeal to
the County Board of Education any decision to
expel. (5114/AR-1)
HARASSMENT
One type of misconduct that happens more in
the middle school years than at any other level
is harassment. Harassment can be anything
from excessive teasing to physically pushing
someone and trying to frighten him/her. We
are dedicated to do all we can to stop this type
of behavior. Since this usually happens when
adults are not present, it is important for
students to inform their teachers or counselors.
The administration will handle harassment
complaints very sternly, quickly, and with the
utmost confidentiality in order to protect
students. It is especially important for students
to help us stop this and other types of
misbehavior. We need your cooperation and
help in making this a safe, orderly and friendly

school for all students. It is important that if
you see something wrong, let your teachers,
counselor or administrators know about it.
SDUHSD BUS TRANSPORATION
RULES OF CONDUCT
As a student of the San Dieguito Union High
School District (SDUHSD), I understand that the
rules dictated in the SDUHSD Discipline Policy
and the rules dictated in the Athletic Handbook
for Students, Parents & Supporters apply to me
while I am riding the bus. I agree to follow
those rules and understand that if I break them,
I am subject to disciplinary action. Furthermore,
while riding the bus, I understand that the
following rules and consequences apply:

I will not shout, use unacceptable
language, or speak rudely to any
individual while on the bus.
I will remain in my seat at all times and
will not move from my position until I
get off the bus, unless I am advised to
do so by the driver.
I will not stick my hands or arms

the bus or out of the bus windows.
I will not vandalize the bus.
I understand that smoking and/or the
use or possession of any illegal
substance is strictly forbidden.
I will not eat on the bus.
I understand that fighting of any kind
will not be tolerated.
I understand that creating or
participating in any type of disturbance
on the bus will not be tolerated.
I will follow the directions given by the
bus driver.
Consequences:
● 1st Offense -Student will be counseled
and the student’s parents will be
notified.
● 2nd Offense -Student suspended from
riding the bus for 3 days and/or has an
in-school detention.
● 3rd Offense -Student suspended from
riding the bus for 2 weeks and/or
assigned Friday Night School.
● 4th Offense -Student will be suspended
from riding the bus for the remainder
of the school year and/or suspended
from school for a minimum of 2 days.
DRESS CODE
School clothing should be neat, clean and
appropriate for school activities. Students are
expected to exercise good judgment and good
taste regarding their dress and grooming so as
not to disrupt the educational environment.
Administration reserves the right to alter or
modify this dress code as styles change or
clothing becomes a safety issue. Students will
be adequately notified of any changes, additions
or modifications to the present dress code.
Students in violation of the dress code will be
subject to disciplinary action, parent contact
and/or borrowing clothing from the office.
Progressive discipline will be administered for
subsequent violations.
Clothing
and
accessories
(including
backpacks) are unacceptable and not allowed on
campus that:
● advertise and/or promote
drugs, alcohol, and/or tobacco
products;
● display foul or sexually
suggestive
language
or
symbols and/or weapons:
● discriminate against race or
sexual identity;
● advertise and/or promote
gang affiliation.

Suggestive or revealing clothing is not suitable
for school. Examples of inappropriate clothing:
● Girls- strapless tops, halter tops,
swimming attire, tops that expose
the midriff, backless shirts, off
shoulder tops and see-through
tops.
● Boys- muscle shirts and tank tops
○ Skirts and dresses are to be fingertip length
when arms are straight at the side.
○ Shorts are to be at least to the closed fist
when arms are straight at the side.
○ All pants and shorts must be secured at the
waist. Oversized pants and/or dangling
belts are not allowed.
○ Footwear must be worn at all times while
on campus.
○ Hats, caps, beanies, gloves and/or hoods
must be removed immediately upon
entering any building or classroom.
○ Wallet chains and bandanas are NOT
allowed (worn or carried).
○ Student appearance, including makeup,
piercings, hair or jewelry, may not cause
distractions or safety concerns in any way
to the student or to the school
environment.
PUBLIC DISPLAY OF AFFECTION
Inappropriate displays of affection are not
allowed at school or during any school-related
activity. Inappropriate displays of affection
include, but may not be limited to:
○ Intimate embrace;
○ Intimate touching;
○ Kissing.
ENVIRONMENT
A clean, healthy and attractive campus is a
shared responsibility by staff and students. The
following are unacceptable and will result in
progressive discipline:
○ Litter—careless and intentional
○ Vandalism—defacing of or damage to
school or private property, including

● Graffiti
● Tree or shrub damage
○ Spitting
DIEGUEÑO IS BULLY FREE!
Bullying/Cyber-bullying and harassment, which
can be through threats, gossip, taunting,
humiliation, email, text-messaging or personal
websites, is never tolerated at Diegueño and can
be physically and/or emotionally abusive.
Disparaging or threatening comments, even if
done at home on a personal computer,
adversely affect the school environment and
may result in progressive discipline.
STUDENT TECHNOLOGY PLAN
In an effort to provide technological access and
educational resources to every student,
Diegueno Middle School permits personallyowned technology (cell phones, notebooks,
handheld devices, etc.) on school property for
academic purposes only. All students MUST
adhere to the Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)
(signed at the beginning of the school year).
Failure to abide by the AUP and/or misuse of
electronic devices may result in confiscation
(returned only to a parent) and/or progressive
disciplinary action which may include
suspension or loss of this privilege.
As
technology
is
constantly
changing,
Administration reserves the right to alter or
modify the Student Technology Plan. Students
and parents will be adequately notified of any

changes, additions, or modifications as they
occur.
Personal Property: Students are responsible for
their possessions at all times. In addition,
students should label all electronic items. The
San Dieguito Union High School District
(SDUHSD) assumes NO RESPONSIBILITY for lost
or stolen electronic devices.
Cell Phones/Personal hand-held devices: Unless
otherwise directed by a staff member (for a
lesson), cell phones/personal hand-held devices
should be turned off and out of sight during
class/instructional time. Cell phones/personal
hand-held devices may be used before school,
after school, and during lunch.
Cell
phone/personal hand-held device usage in a
classroom is strictly guided by each teacher in
their respective class for instructional use only.
Unauthorized cell phone/personal hand-held
device photos or video is prohibited at school
and subject to progressive disciplinary action.
Students are accountable for the content and
usage of their cell phone/personal handheld
devices (including all documents, images,
videos,
etc).
Confiscation
of
cell
phones/personal hand-held devices for rule
infractions includes all accessories in and around
the phone. If you cell phone or any other hand
held device is confiscated, a parent must come
to the office and sign for it.
CAMPUS RULES
BIKES/SKATEBOARDS - All students who ride
bikes or skateboards (or are in possession of a
skateboard at school) must have and wear a
helmet. Bikes must be stored in the bike
compound located in the front of the school.
Students must provide their own lock.
Skateboards must be stored up in the
“skateboard basket” in front of the attendance
office.
The San Dieguito Union High School District
(SDUHSD) is not responsible for bikes and
skateboards that are not locked in designated
areas.
GUM - Gum is not permitted on campus or
buses at any time. Progressive discipline will be
assigned if students violate this rule.
SELLING - Students may not sell anything to
others while at school or on buses. Selling
things at school, including candy, is in violation
of state law.
SEE YOUR COUNSELOR
The counselor welcomes students before
school, during lunch and after school. If the
counselor is not available, you can fill out a
“Request to see a Counselor” slip.

counselor will call you from class for the
appointment. The counselor is very happy to
help with any of the following concerns:

LEARNING COMMONS
The mission of the Learning Commons is to
ensure that students and staff are effective
users of ideas and information.
TEXTBOOKS
Textbooks are issued to students at the
beginning of the school year and students are
responsible for them until they are returned at
the end of the year.
○ Books are to be used only by the
students to whom they are assigned.
○ Books should be properly cared for.
○ Students must pay for books that are
lost, stolen or damaged.

ID CARDS
Your student ID card will be issued within a few
weeks of picture day. You must have your ID to
participate in any and all school activities.
Students must carry ID cards at all times when
on campus or attending a school function.
SCHOOL ACTIVITIES
Scheduled after-school activities offer students
an opportunity to meet friends and socialize in a
relaxed, well-supervised atmosphere. Only
Diegueño students may attend. Dates and
timeframes will be announced as they are
planned. Once students have checked into the
activity, they will be expected to stay until the
conclusion. They will not be permitted to come
and go. Leaving campus from an activity is
strictly prohibited unless accompanied by a
parent/guardian.

LUNCH INFORMATION
A variety of lunch items are available for
purchase from our food service area or you may
bring lunch from home. Free and reduced lunch
programs are available based upon family

PHYSICAL EDUCATION POLICY
Students are expected to suit up for P.E. and
participate on a daily basis. A parent or guardian
may write a note modifying Physical Education

for 3 days only. After the 3 day, a doctor’s
note is required and must indicate the beginning
and ending date of student’s excuse. Notes to
excuse students from P.E. must be given directly
to the teacher before class begins. Please do
not call the office for P.E. excuses.
SPORTS
Boys’ and Girls’ Club – Listen to the
announcements about try-out dates throughout
the year for flag football, basketball, volleyball,
wrestling, field hockey, cross-country, golf, and
track and field. There are numerous
opportunities for students to represent
Diegueño on sports teams run by the San
Dieguito Boys’ and Girls’ Club. Please contact

The San Dieguito Union High School District provides students with access to computer equipment, software, and
network services. These tools support learning, collaboration, and educational research related to the district
curriculum. All technology and network usage must be consistent with these purposes, the Acceptable Use Policy, and

Students are expected to use any district technology equipment, software, and network services only for

Consequences for individuals violating the Responsible Use Policy vary depending on the nature and seriousness of the

expulsion.

AUSENCIAS/LLEGADAS TARDE
La asistencia diaria a todas las clases es una
parte esencial de su educación. Cuando no
asista a clases, su padre o tutor se deberá
comunicar con la escuela cada día que esté
ausente y NO cuando regrese a la escuela.

*Aplicación de la Ley – Debido a que estas áreas
problemáticas violan la ley estatal, los
funcionarios escolares podrán notificar a las
autoridades que correspondan encargadas de
aplicación de la ley. Si esto ocurre, los
funcionarios escolares harán el intento de
notificar a un padre o tutor. Cualquier acción
por parte de las autoridades de la aplicación de
la ley se sumará a la acción aplicada por la
escuela.

Suspensión y Expulsión – Durante un período
de suspensión, queda a discreción de cada
maestro brindar tareas o créditos; sin embargo,
siempre se alienta a los estudiantes a completar
todos los trabajos requeridos en el curso. Si se
recomendó la expulsión de un estudiante, se
realizará una audiencia formal de acuerdo con el
Código de Educación y la política del distrito.
Los estudiantes y padres serán notificados por
escrito y recibirán instrucciones adicionales con
relación a sus derechos durante el proceso
debido. La decisión final de expulsión será
tomada por la Junta Directiva del Distrito Escolar
de Escuelas Secundarias de San Dieguito.
Expulsión Obligatoria – La Sección 48915© del
Código de Educación fue reformada a fin de
solicitar a los directores y superintendentes la
suspensión inmediata y recomendación de
expulsión en caso de que se produzca cualquiera
de las siguientes ofensas:
1. Posesión, venta o de cualquier otro
modo entrega de un arma de fuego
2. Blandir un cuchillo a otro estudiante
3. Ilegalmente vender una sustancia
controlada
4. Cometer o intentar cometer un
acoso sexual
5. Posesión de un explosivo
Proceso Debido – La asistencia escolar
obligatoria es un derecho que sólo puede ser
invalidado a través de un proceso debido que
incluya una conferencia a fin de ser informado
sobre los cargos y una oportunidad de negar
dichos cargos y presentar pruebas. (5114/AR-1)
Apelación – El alumno, padre o tutor tienen el
derecho de apelar ante el superintendente
cualquier decisión de suspensión y el derecho
de apelar ante la Junta de Educación del
Condado cualquier decisión de expulsión.

ACOSO
El acoso es un tipo de mala conducta que
sucede con mayor frecuencia durante los años
de la escuela secundaria que en cualquier otro
nivel. Éste puede variar desde burlar de forma
excesiva hasta empujar físicamente a otra
persona e intentar asustarla. Intentamos hacer
todo lo posible para detener este tipo de
comportamiento. Debido
a que
esto
normalmente sucede cuando no hay adultos
presentes, es importante que los estudiantes
informen a sus maestros, o a un consejero y que
utilicen la caja para reportar casos de
intimidación y cuando esto suceda. La
administración manejará las quejas por acoso de
forma muy severa, rápida y con la mayor
confidencialidad a fin de proteger a los
estudiantes. Es especialmente importante que
los estudiantes nos ayuden a detener éste y
otros tipos de malas conductas. Necesitamos su
ayuda para poder contar con una escuela
segura, ordenada y amistosa para todos los
estudiantes. Es importante en caso de observar
algo que está mal, informarlo a los maestros,
consejeros o administradores.
REGLAS DE CONDUCTA DURANTE EL
TRANSPORTE EN AUTOBÚS DE SDUHSD
Como estudiante del Distrito Escolar Unificado
de Escuelas Secundarias de San Dieguito
(SDUHSD), entiendo que las reglas que figuran
en la Política de Disciplina del SDUHSD y en la
Guía de Atletismo para Estudiantes, Padres y
Ayudantes se aplican a mí mientras viajo en el
autobús. Acepto cumplir con dichas reglas y
entiendo que en caso de infringirlas estaré
sujeto a una sanción disciplinaria. Ademas,
mientras viajo en el autobús, entiendo que las
siguientes reglas y consecuencias serán
aplicadas:

No gritaré, no usaré lenguaje
inaceptable ni hablaré de manera
grosera a ningún individuo mientras
esté en el autobús.

Permaneceré en mi asiento en todo
momento y no abandonaré mi posición
hasta que descienda del autobús, a
menos que el conductor me indique
que así lo haga.
No sacaré las manos o brazos por las

del autobús ni por las ventanillas.
No dañaré el autobús.
Entiendo que queda terminantemente
prohibido fumar y/o usar o poseer
cualquier sustancia ilegal.
No comeré en el autobús.
Entiendo que no se tolerarán peleas de
ningún tipo.
Entiendo que no se tolerará la creación
o participación en cualquier tipo de
desorden en el autobús.
Seguiré las instrucciones dadas por el
conductor del autobús.
Consecuencias de Acción Disciplinaria
○ 1ra Ofensa – El estudiante será
aconsejado y sus padres serán
notificados
○ 2da Ofensa – El estudiante será
suspendido y no podrá viajar en el
autobús por tres días, además de
recibir una detención en la escuela.
○ 3ra Ofensa – El estudiante será
suspendido y no podrá viajar en el
autobús por dos días, además de tener
que asistir a la escuela de los sábados.
○ 4ta Ofensa – El estudiante será
suspendido y no podrá viajar en el
autobús por el resto del año escolar,
además de ser suspendido de la
escuela como mínimo por 2 días.
NORMAS DE VESTIMENTA
El propósito de la política de vestimenta del
DGMS es promover un ambiente de aprendizaje
donde haya respeto y seguridad para todos los
estudiantes y miembros del personal. Aquellos
estudiantes que violen la política de vestimenta
estarán sujetos a una sanción disciplinaria,
contacto con los padres y/o que se les preste
vestimenta de la oficina. Se aplicará la disciplina
progresiva en caso de violaciones subsecuentes.
○ Se prohíben en el campus y no son
aceptables las vestimentas y accesorios
(incluyendo mochilas) que:
● Publiciten y/o promuevan las
drogas, alcohol y/o productos de
tabaco;
● Exhiban un lenguaje o símbolos
obscenos o que sugieran sexo y/o
armas;
● Discriminen contra una raza o
identidad sexual;
● Publiciten
y/o
promuevan
afiliaciones con pandillas.
○ Las vestimentas provocativas o que revelen
partes del cuerpo no serán adecuadas en la
escuela. Las camisas sin tiras o con tiras
finas no serán adecuadas en el campus. En
ningún momento se deberán exhibir las
prendas interiores ni el cuerpo a la altura
del diafragma.
○ Las faldas y vestidos deberán ser largos
hasta las puntas de los dedos cuando los
brazos sean rectos al costado.
○ Los shorts deberán ser largos por lo menos
hasta el puño cuando los brazos estén
rectos a ambos lados.
○ Los pantalones se deberán usar a la altura
de la cintura. Se prohíbe el uso de
pantalones de tamaño muy grande y/o
cinturones colgantes.
○ Siempre se deberá usar calzado mientras se
esté en el campus.
○ Se deberán quitar de inmediato gorras,
sombreros, gorritas de colores, guantes y/o
capuchas al ingresar a cualquiera de los
edificios escolares o el aula.
○ NO se permite el uso de cadenas ni
pañuelos para la cabeza (usarlos ni
llevarlos).

El aspecto de los estudiantes, incluyendo
maquillaje, perforaciones con aros o joyería
no deberá ocasionar distracciones ni
problemas de seguridad de ninguna forma
en el ambiente escolar.
EXHIBICIÓN DE AFECTO EN PÚBLICO
Se prohíbe la demostración de afecto de manera
inadecuada en la escuela o durante cualquier
actividad relacionada con la escuela. Las
demostraciones de afecto inadecuadas incluyen;
pero no se limitan a:
○ Abrazo íntimo;
○ Tacto íntimo;
○ Besos.
AMBIENTE
Contar con un campus limpio, saludable y
atractivo es una responsabilidad compartida por
el personal y los estudiantes. Lo siguiente es
inaceptable:
Tirar Basura—por descuido o de forma
intencional
Vandalismo—destruir o dañar la propiedad
escolar o privada, incluyendo
○ Etiquetar
○ Hacer grafiti
○ Dañar árboles o arbustos
Escupir
¡DG ESTÁ LIBRE DE INTIMIDACIONES!
Jamás se tolera la intimidación, acoso y/o
intimidación a través de Internet, las cuales se
realizan a través de amenazas, chismes, burlas,
humillación, correo electrónico, mensajes de
texto o sitios web personales, y pueden ser
física y/o emocionalmente abusivas. Los
comentarios despectivos o amenazadores,
incluso desde el hogar y a través de una
computadora personal, afectan adversamente el
ambiente escolar y pueden resultar en la
aplicación de la disciplina progresiva.
PLAN TECNOLÓGICO ESTUDIANTIL
Esforzándonos en proporcionar acceso
tecnológico y recursos educativos a todos los
estudiantes, la escuela secundaria de Diegueno
Middle School ahora permite el uso de aparatos
tecnológicos personales (teléfonos celulares,
computadoras portátiles, dispositivos
electrónicos, etc.) en el plantel escolar, si su uso
es solamente con fines académicos. Todos los
estudiantes DEBEN cumplir con la Póliza de Uso
Aceptable (AUP) (que se firma al principio del
año escolar). El incumplimiento de la Póliza de
Uso Aceptable (AUP) y / o el mal uso de los
dispositivos electrónicos, puede resultar en la
confiscación del dispositivo electrónico (que se
devolverá solamente al padre de familia) y / o
medida disciplinaría progresiva, que puede
incluir suspensión o perdida del privilegio de
usar los dispositivo electrónicos en el plantel
escolar. Como la tecnología está cambiando
constantemente, la administración se reserva
el derecho de alterar o modificar el Plan
Tecnológico Estudiantil. Los estudiantes serán
debidamente notificados de cualquier cambio,
adiciones, o modificaciones, conforme ocurran.
Propiedad Personal: Los estudiantes son
responsables en todo momento de sus
pertenencias. Además los estudiantes deben
identificar todos sus artículos electrónicos con

TELÉFONOS CELULARES/DISPOSITIVOS
PORTÁTILES PERSONALES
Salvo que un miembro del personal (para una
lección), teléfonos celulares / dispositivos
portátiles personales deben estar apagados y
fuera de la vista durante la clase / tiempo de
instrucción. Los teléfonos celulares /
dispositivos portátiles personales pueden ser
utilizados antes de clases, después de clases y
durante el almuerzo. Teléfono celular / el uso de
dispositivos de mano personal en un salón de
clases está estrictamente guiado por cada
profesor en su respectiva clase sólo para uso
educacional. Teléfono celular no autorizada /
fotos personales de dispositivos de mano o
video está prohibida en la escuela y sujeto a una
acción disciplinaria progresiva. Los estudiantes
son responsables por el contenido y el uso de
sus dispositivos de telefonía celular / personales
de mano (incluidos todos los documentos,
imágenes, vídeos, etc.). Confiscación de
teléfonos celulares / dispositivos personales
portátiles por infracciones de reglas incluye
todos los accesorios en y alrededor del teléfono.

REGLAS CAMPUS BICICLETAS / PATINES - Todos
los estudiantes que viajan en bicicletas o

en la escuela) deben tener y usar un casco.
Bicicletas deben ser almacenados en el
compuesto moto se encuentra en el frente de la
escuela. Los estudiantes deben proporcionar su
propio candado. Patinetas deben ser
almacenados en la "canasta monopatín" en
frente de la oficina de asistencia.
SDUHSD no se hace responsable de aquellas
bicicletas y patinetas que no estén guardadas
con candado en las áreas designadas.
GOMA DE MASCAR – Se prohíbe el uso de goma
de mascar en el campus y en cualquier
momento. Se aplicarán detenciones a aquellos
estudiantes que infrinjan esta regla.
VENTA - Los estudiantes no podrán vender nada
a otros estudiantes cuando estén en la escuela o
en el autobús. Vender cosas en la escuela,
incluyendo dulces, representa una violación de
la ley estatal.
VISITA A TU CONSEJARO
Los consejeros de Diegueño Middle School están
disponibles antes de clase, durante el almuerzo
o luego del horario escolar. Si el consejero no se
encuentra disponible, puede completar un
formulario de “Solicitud para Visitar a un
Consejero”. Éste lo llamará cuando se encuentre
en clase para establecer una cita. Los consejeros
se sienten muy contentos de poder brindar
ayuda sobre cualquiera de las siguientes
cuestiones:

3. Temas Personales/Sociales

APRENDIZAJE COMMONS
La misión de los Comunes de Aprendizaje es
asegurar que los estudiantes y el personal son
usuarios efectivos de ideas e información.
LIBROS Y MÁS
Se entregan libros de texto a los estudiantes al
comenzar el año escolar. Usted es responsable
de los mismos hasta que son devueltos al
finalizar el año escolar.
○ Los libros deberán ser usados sólo por
los estudiantes a quienes fueron
asignados.
○ Los libros se deberán cuidar de forma
apropiada.
○ Usted deberá pagar por los libros que
se pierdan, roben o dañen.

TARJETAS DE IDENTIFICACIÓN
Su tarjeta de identificación de estudiante se
publicará dentro de unas semanas de día de las
fotos. Usted debe tener su ID de participar en
cualquier y todas las actividades escolares. Los
estudiantes deben llevar tarjetas de
identificación en todo momento cuando en el
campus o asistir a una función escolar.
ACTIVIDADES ESCOLARES
Programado actividades después de clases
ofrecen a los estudiantes una oportunidad para
reunirse con amigos y socializar en un ambiente
bien supervisado relajado. Sólo Diegueño
estudiantes pueden asistir. Fechas y plazos
serán anunciados a medida que se planifican.
Una vez que los estudiantes han registrado en la
actividad, se espera que permanezcan hasta la
conclusión. No se les permitirá entrar y salir.
Salir del campus de una actividad está
estrictamente prohibido si no van acompañados
por un padre / tutor.

Una variedad de almuerzos están disponibles

Políza de Educación Física
Se espera que esté apto para participar en
educación física y que asista diariamente. Un
padre o tutor podrá escribir una nota
modificando las clases Educación Física sólo
durante 3 días. Luego del tercer día, se solicitará
una nota médica y se deberán indicar las fechas
de inicio y finalización de la justificación del
estudiante. Notas para excusar al estudiante de
no participar en Educación Fisica, deberán
entregarse al masetro directamente. para esta
clase de excusas. Favor de no llamar a la oficina
con excusas de la dase de Educación Fisica.
DEPORTES
Club de Niños y Niñas - Escucha a los anuncios
sobre las fechas de probar de salida durante
todo el año para el fútbol de la bandera,
baloncesto, voleibol, lucha libre, hockey sobre
hierba, campo traviesa, golf y pista y campo.
Hay numerosas oportunidades para que los

deportivos gestionados por el Club de Niños San

SDUHSD brinda a sus estudiantes acceso a equipamiento informático, programas de computación y servicios de red.
Estas herramientas apoyan el aprendizaje, la colaboración e investigaciones educativas relacionadas con el plan de
estudios de distrito. Todo el uso tecnológico y de redes debe ser consecuente con estos propósitos, la Política de Uso
Aceptable, y todas las disposiciones de la ley que gobierna las acciones del usuario.
Uso Responsable
Se espera que los estudiantes usen cualquier equipamiento tecnológico, programa de computación y servicio de red del

supervisión.
Alejarse de una computadora cuando esté activo un ingreso a un sistema.
Plagiar o infringir las leyes de derecho de autor (copia no autorizada de programas de
computación/documentos, tomar o transmitir las ideas o palabras de otra persona como propias, usar las
palabras/trabajo de otra persona sin dar crédito a dicha fuente, etc.).
Usar tecnología del distrito o servicios de red para uso personal, entretenimiento, propósitos políticos o
comerciales.
Desperdiciar de forma deliberada recursos informáticos, incluyendo hojas de impresión.
Instalar, copiar o infectar intencionalmente una computadora con un virus.
Instalar un dispositivo informático en cualquier computadora. Adjuntar un dispositivo informático en o a
cualquier computadora.
Sanciones por Uso Irresponsable
Las sanciones para aquellos individuos que violen la Política de Uso Responsable podrán variar, dependiendo de la
naturaleza y gravedad de la violación. Las sanciones podrán incluir una conferencia, pérdida de acceso a
computadoras/tecnología, detención, suspensión y/o expulsión.
