Les queremos presentar un subproducto comercializado por nuestra
empresa que creemos pueden ser de su interés, el ALABASTER POWDER.
We want to present a byproduct marketed by our company that we believe
may be of your interest, the ALABASTER POWDER.
Nuestra empresa, UNITED ALABASTER, se dedica fundamentalmente
a la extracción y tratamiento de alabastro, mineral compuesto
fundamentalmente por sulfato cálcico hidratado y agua, el cual por su
ductilidad y transparencia se utiliza mayormente en iluminación.
Durante el proceso el alabastro se extrae en forma de bolos de nuestras
canteras. Allí mismo se inicia una primera limpieza y saneamiento con
martillos pneumáticos. Seguidamente son transportados a nuestro
aserradero de La Puebla de Hijar, donde son cortados en lonchas a diferentes
diámetros y alturas. A estas lonchas se les vuelve a realizar una segunda
limpieza y posteriormente se seleccionan, descartando el alabastro que no
cumple los requisitos solicitados por el cliente (medidas, transparencia,
pureza...). Our company, UNITED ALABASTER, is devoted primarily to the extraction
and processing of alabaster, mineral composed mainly of hydrated calcium
sulfate and water, which by its ductility and transparency is mostly used for
lighting.
During the process the alabaster is extracted, from our quarries, in the form
of balls. Right there starts a first cleaning and sanitation with pneumatic
hammers. Then they are transported to our mill in La Puebla de Hijar, where
they are sliced to various diameters and heights. These slices are cleaned for
a second time and then selected, rejecting the alabaster which does not meet
the requirements requested by the customers (size, transparency, purity…).

El material seleccionado es paletizado y preparado para su traslado a
otros centros dónde seguirán con el proceso final del producto. El material
aprovechable ALABASTER POWDER es almacenado con el fin de poder darle
un uso alternativo: componente de cementos, pequeña escultura, material
ornamental para parques y jardines, componente para productos de
belleza...
En este sentido, estaríamos dispuestos a proporcionaros nuestro
material para que realizárais las pruebas oportunas con el fin de determinar
su idoneidad para su actividad.

The selected material is palletized and prepared to transport to other centers
where will continue with the process and will obtain the final product. The
usable material ALABASTER POWDER is stored in order to be able to give an
alternative use: a component of cement, small sculpture, decorative material
for parks and gardens, a component for cosmetics…
In this sense, we would be willing to provide you our material for you to do the
appropriate tests to determine its suitability for you activity.
