¿De dónde eres?
Nací en Mashad (Irán) pero emigré a los EEUU en
1978. En estos días llevaba una vida nómada.
¿Relación con Ibiza?
Empezó con una session de Deep Dish en Pacha a
mediados de los 90 con Roberto y Ernesto de Zenith
(que ahora son los responsables de Music On) y he
sido lo bastante afortunado para volver de manera
virtual cada temporada desde entonces. Ibiza nunca
ha dejado de inspirar mis procesos de creación e
interpretación musical.
Tu carrera de DJ comenzó en 1991 con
Deep Dish. Desde entonces, ¿cómo ha
evolucionado tu estilo musical y qué lo
hizo cambiar finalmente?
Deep Dish siempre consistió en traer los géneros tecno
y deep house juntos a nuestra propia manera. Al igual
que los humanos evolucionamos a lo largo del tiempo,
así lo hacemos igualmente los músicos y de esta forma
Deep Dish se convirtió en algo mucho más grande de
lo que habíamos previsto. A mitad de los 2000, me
sentía en desacuerdo a nivel creativo con respecto a
aquello en lo que Deep Dish se había transformado y
especialmente con mi compañero, Sharam. Así que
necesitaba escapar para encontrarme a mí mismo de
nuevo y seguir estando inspirado de maneras más
innovadoras y desafiantes. Desde entonces hemos
tenido bastante impacto a nivel individual en nuestros
respectivos ámbitos y reiniciamos Deep Dish en marzo
de 2014, con una chispa creativa renovada.
El año pasado presentaste tu espectáculo
HYBRID en vivo. Cuéntanos más sobre
esto.
HYBRID es el nombre de mi espectáculo de debut en
directo, en el cuál he estado trabajando la mayor parte del
tiempo durante 2 años empezando a principios de 2013.
Es la culminación de mucho trabajo duro con un equipo
muy talentoso de colaboradores a los que he reunido. El
espectáculo es una experiencia audio-visual única que
captura la esencia de mi sonido, respaldado por visuales
renderizados en 2D y 3D, creando una experiencia virtual
envolvente. Estoy bastante orgulloso de
los resultados y estuve muy emocionado
de haber empezado en abril de este año la
gira mundial de 2 años de duración.

¿A cuántos países vas a ir con el tour en
directo HYBRID?
Hemos llevado ya el espectáculo a Hungría, Holanda,
EEUU, Alemania, Suiza, Argentina, Colombia,
España, Georgia y el Reino Unido, con la República
Checa, Francia, Brasil, etc antes de finales de este
año.
¿Cómo reacciona el público frente a este
espectáculo alucinante?
Los fans que han visto el espectáculo han dado un
apoyo increíble y se quedan más o menos sorprendidos
con lo que hemos creado. En mi opinión, es muy
importante para el género underground evolucionar
más allá de las típicas actuaciones de DJ que vemos
por todas partes. Cualquiera es DJ ahora, así que la
duración y la presentación se han hecho homogéneas
de alguna forma. Lo que estamos haciendo con
HYBRID es un gran compromiso de tiempo y dinero
para llevarlo a cabo, pero espero que haya ayudado
no solo a elevarme como artista e intérprete, sino a
hacer avanzar a la música y a las actuaciones tecno.
Solo espero que más promotores se den cuenta de
este impacto positivo y que respalden el espectáculo
para ofrecerlo a los fans que lo están solicitando por
todo el mundo.
Tras haber ganado ya un Grammy, junto
con otros premios importantes, ¿cuál
es el próximo premio que te gustaría
conseguir?
No hago lo que hago para ganar premios, ni conseguir
fama o fortuna. Mis principales motivaciones son el
desafío contraído con los artistas, el respeto de mis
compañeros y el apoyo de mis fans y de los críticos.
¿Qué esperas de esta temporada?
La temporada está llegando a su fin ¡y ha sido
absolutamente fantástica para mí! Desde la apertura
de Circoloco a finales de mayo hasta mi residencia
en ENTER., el b2b con Carl Craig en No Name, el
excepcional escaparate SCI+TEC en Blue Marlin,
las primeras apariciones en Solomun + 1 y Paradise,
Cocoon justo este pasado lunes, y muchos otros
por venir, todo ha sido una poderosa progresión
musical realmente increíble. Estoy a la espera de
cerrar la temporada y pasar a nuevas aventuras en los
próximos meses.
Describe tu estilo musical en tres palabras.

¿Proyectos futuros?
Moda acaba de lanzar mi deep mix de “Leave
Me” de Hot Since 82 & Habischman, del cual
estoy muy orgulloso ya que fue inspirado por
mi experiencia en Burning Man hace unos años
¡y lo han programado bien con el Burning Man
de este año! Mi remix del “Fratello” de Joseph
Capriati saldrá en octubre en Drumcode y
actualmente estoy trabajando en un remix del
clásico de Audion “Mouth to Mouth” para el
décimo aniversario que saldrá el próximo año en
Ghostly.
En el lado de la producción, mi colaboración final con

Oliver Huntemann, “Humano”, ha terminado y
saldrá como un single y parte de un conjunto
retrospectivo el año próximo. Ademàs Miss
Kittin y yo casi hemos acabado nuestro próximo
single titulado “Ride”, ¡del que estamos muy
orgullosos!
Con Deep Dish, hemos grabado y prácticamente
acabado suficiente material para un álbum, así que ¡solo
es cuestión de pulir los tracks y decidir cuál
pasa el corte!

Where are you from?
I was born in Mashad, Iran but emigrated to the USA
in 1978. These days I lead a nomadic life.
Relationship with Ibiza?
It began with a Deep Dish gig at Pacha in the mid1990’s with Roberto and Ernesto of Zenith (who now
are responsible for Music On) and I’ve been fortunate
enough to come back virtually every season since
then. Ibiza has never ceased to inspire my music
making and music playing processes.
Your DJ career begins in 1991 with Deep
Dish. Since then how has your musical style
evolved and what made it change eventually?
Deep Dish was always about bringing the techno and
deep house genres closer together in our own unique
way. As humans evolve over time, so do musicians
and so Deep Dish became something much bigger
then we had anticipated. Towards the mid-2000’s, I
felt at odds creatively with what Deep Dish had turned
into and especially with my partner in crime, Sharam.
So I needed to escape to find myself again and
continue to be inspired in newer, more challenging
ways. We have since had quite a bit of individual solo
impact in our respective scenes and rebooted Deep
Dish in March 2014 with a renewed creative spark.
Last year you have launched your live show
HYBRID. Please tell us more about it.
HYBRID is the name of my debut live show which
I’d been working on for the better part of 2 years
beginning in early 2013. It’s the culmination of a lot of
hard work with a very talented team of collaborators
that I've assembled. The show is a unique audio-visual
experience that captures the essence of my sound,
backed by 2D and 3D rendered visuals, creating an
immersive virtual experience. I’m quite proud of the
results and was very excited to have begun the 2-year
world tour in April of this year.
Through how many countries are you
going with the HYBRID live tour?
We have already taken the show to Hungary, Holland,
the USA, Germany, Switzerland, Argentina, Colombia,
Spain, Georgia and the UK with the Czech Republic,
France, Brazil, etc. before the end of this year.
How does the public react in front of this
amazing show?
The fans who’ve seen the show have
been incredibly supportive and more or
less blown away by what we’ve created.
In my view it is very important for the
16
underground genre to evolve beyond the typical DJ
performances we see everywhere. Everyone is a
DJ now so the term and presentation have become
homogenized in some ways. What we’re doing with
HYBRID took a great deal of time and money to pull
off but hopefully it has helped to not only elevate
myself as an artist and performer, but advance
techno music and performance. I just hope that more
promoters would realize that positive impact and get
behind the show to bring it to the fans around the
world who are asking for it.
After already winning a Grammy, along
with other important awards, what is the
next award that you would like to achieve?
I don’t do what I do to gather awards, seek fame or
fortune. The self-imposed artists challenges, respect
of my peers and the support of the fans and critics are
my primary motivators.
What do you expect from this season?
This season is nearly coming to an end and it has
been absolutely fantastic for me! From the Circoloco
opening at the end of May to my ENTER. residency,
the b2b with Carl Craig at No Name, one-off SCI+TEC
showcase at Blue Marlin, first time appearances at
Solomun + 1 and Paradise, Cocoon just this past
Monday, and many more to come, it’s all been an
incredibly powerful musical progression. I’m looking
forward to closing out the season over the next few
months and moving onto newer adventures.
Describe your music style in three words.

Future projects?
Moda have just released my deep mix of Hot Since
82 & Habischman’s “Leave Me” which I’m very proud
of as it was inspired by my Burning Man experience
a few years ago and they’ve timed it well with this
years’ Burning Man! My remix of Joseph Capriati’s
“Fratello” will be out in October on Drumcode and
I’m currently working on a remix of Audion’s classic
“Mouth to Mouth” for the 10-year anniversary release
next year on Ghostly.
On the production side my final collaboration with
Oliver Huntemann, “Humano,” is done and will surface
as a single and part of a retrospective package next
year. Moreover Miss Kittin and I are nearly finished
with our next single entitled “Ride” which we’re quite
proud of!
With Deep Dish, we’ve recorded and nearly finished
enough material for an album so it’s just a matter of
polishing them off and deciding which make the cut!

Las murallas fueron construidas en el siglo XVI y
diseñadas por Giovanni Baptista Calvi así como
los baluartes de las Murallas. En la primera fase se
construyeron seis baluartes: Sant Jordi, Sant Jaume,
Sant Pere, Sant Joan, Santa Tecla y San Bernat.
Los baluartes de Sant Bernat y Sant Jaume ofrecen al
espectador videoproyecciones, armas antiguas y una
explicación de la historia de la isla.
The walls were built at the XVIth century and were
designed by Giovanni Baptista Calvi, as well as the
bastions of the Walls. At the first stage, six bastions
were built: Sant Jordi, Sant Jaume, Sant Pere, Sant
Joan, Santa Tecla and San Bernat.
Bastions of Sant Bernat and Sant Jaume provide
video-screenings to the audience, antique weapons
and an explanation about the history of the island.

de Arte Contemporáneo, el centro de interpretación
de Madina Yabisha o el Museo Puget, claros ejemplos
de la cultura y la historia de Ibiza.

Si os apetece conocer el lugar donde realmente se

Soy oceanógrafa y trabajo como coordinadora del
Centro de Recuperación de Especies Marinas, en el
Aquarium Cap Blanc.
Nací y crecí en Ibiza, y me siento una privilegiada por
ello. Mis estudios los tuve que realizar fuera, ya que
aquí no se impartían, esto me permitió alejarme de la
isla durante un tiempo, y aprender a verla desde otra
perspectiva. Ibiza es un lugar único, mientras más viajo
y conozco otros lugares, más aprecio lo que tenemos.
Creo que a veces es necesario alejarse de algo para
aprender a valorarlo con más claridad. Crecer como
persona te ayuda a vislumbrar las cosas con más rigor.

I am oceanographer and I work as coordinator of
the Centre for the Recovery of Marine Species, at
Aquarium Cap Blanc.
I was born and raised in Ibiza, and I feel privileged for this.
I had to carry out my studies outside the island, because
it was not taught here; this allowed me to get away for
a while and learn to see it from another perspective.
Ibiza is a place unique, the more I travel and know other
places, the more I appreciate what we have. I think
that sometimes you need to get away from something
in order to learn to value it more clearly. Growing as a
person helps you to glimpse things most rigorously.
Cuéntanos sobre Aquarium Cap Blanc. Tell us about Aquarium Cap Blanc. What
¿Cuál es su historia?
is its history?
El Aquarium está ubicado en una cueva natural.
Antiguamente, la cueva se llamaba “Sa Cova des Vell
Marí” que es el nombre que recibe la foca monje en
ibicenco, porque se dice que esta especie se refugiaba
aquí. Más tarde, los pescadores locales la utilizaron
como vivero de langostas, por lo que aún hoy, se la
conoce como “Sa Cova de Ses Llagostes”, y hace 25
años, decidieron abrirla al público como un Aquarium
con especies marinas representativas de la isla.
The Aquarium is located in a natural cave. Formerly,
the cave was called "Sa Cova des Vell Marí" which is
the name given to the monk seal in Ibizan language,
because it is said that this species took shelter here.
Later, the local fishermen used it as a lobster tank,
so that even today, it is known as "Sa Cova de Ses
Llagostes" and, 25 years ago, they decided to open
it to the public as an Aquarium with representative
marine species of the island.
¿Cómo están organizadas las visitas al Aquarium? How are the visits to the Aquarium organized?
La visita es libre y gratuita para residentes. También
hacemos visitas guiadas a grupos previa reserva. El horario
de apertura de verano es de 10 a 22h de lunes a domingo,
y tenemos personal especializado que atiende cualquier
curiosidad de 10 a 18h. En invierno, aprovechando que
realizamos tareas de mantenimiento de cara a la temporada
siguiente, abrimos los sábados de 10 a 14h.
The visit is open and free for residents. We also do
guided tours for groups by advanced reservation.
The summer opening hours are 10am to 10pm from
Monday to Sunday, and we have specialized staff to
care about any request from 10am to 6pm. In winter,
since we have maintenance tasks facing the next
season, we are open on Saturdays from 10am to 2pm.

10 years ago and it arose mainly for the need of a
specialized care for marine animals with problems

that appeared on the island. Then it has been
growing and each time has a greater impact. Not
only it is focusing on project work and recovery of
marine species, but it is a very important behind
social and educational work. So far this year we
have developed educational activities with more
than 6200 people.
¿En qué consiste vuestro trabajo?
What is your job about?
Podríamos decir que hay tres partes: Un proyecto
educativo donde se trabaja principalmente en temas
de concienciación relacionados con el medio ambiente
marino. Está dirigido a escuelas, institutos, grupos
de discapacitados, personas de la tercera edad y
colectivos en riesgo de exclusión social. Mediante estas
actividades intentamos acercar el entorno marino de las
Pitiusas a los participantes, bien desplazándonos a sus
centros a impartir talleres ambientales de forma gratuita,
o bien realizando actividades en nuestro centro.
Por otra parte, desarrollamos proyectos de investigación
tanto propios, como en colaboración con diferentes
entidades científicas. Actualmente estamos trabajando en
varios estudios, uno de los más llamativos para nuestros
visitantes es un programa propio sobre la reintroducción
del tiburón pintarroja (también conocido como gató).
Además está el trabajo del Centro de Recuperación,
donde nos encargamos de atender a diferentes especies
marinas. Aunque en esta parte, no solo se trabaja con
animales que están en el centro, si no que, junto a los
agentes de medio ambiente, asistimos a varamientos,
tanto de animales vivos como muertos. Principalmente
trabajamos con tortugas, pero también atendemos a
otras especies como cetáceos o tiburones.
We could say that there are three parts: An
educational project where people work mainly in
awareness-raising issues related to the marine
environment. It is addressed to schools, colleges,
groups of disabled persons, seniors and groups at
risk of social exclusion. Through these activities we
try to bring the marine environment of the Pitiusas
to the participants, whether moving to their centres
to give free environmental workshops or doing
activities in our centre.
Moreover, we develop research projects both
own and in collaboration with different scientific
institutions. We are currently working on several
studies, one of the most attractive to our visitors is
its own program on the reintroduction of the dogfish
shark (aka gató).
There is also the work of the Recovery Centre, where
we take care of the needs of different marine species.
Although in this part, not only they work with animals
in the centre, but together with the environmental
agents, we attend beaching, both about living and
dead animals. We mainly work with turtles, but we
also attend other species such as cetaceans and
sharks.

Me encanta mi pueblo, San Antonio. Me gusta bucear
desde cualquier punto de su costa, pasear por el
puerto, ver el atardecer con amigos en Caló des Moro
o en “las puertas del cielo”, hacer senderismo en
invierno por Santa Inés, visitar es Broll de Buscastell…
Es un paraíso de contrastes increíble.
I love my town, San Antonio. I like to dive from
anywhere on the coast, walk around the port, watch
the sunset with friends at Calo des Moro or at “las
puertas del cielo”, hiking in winter by Santa Ines, visit
es Broll of Buscastell... It's an amazing paradise of
contrasts.

my vocation in a profession that I am enjoying every day.

Crooner es una mezcla del canto y el jazz. Empezó
sobre los años 60 y era un estilo dominado por italioamericanos. Ha ido evolucionando por el jazz y el soul.
Los crooners actuales hemos ampliado el registro
pero hoy en día es muy difícil que te acompañe una
banda de 50 músicos como era originalmente. Y eso
se extraña. La tecnología ha reducido a los músicos.
Nat King Cole, Frank Sinatra y Billie Holiday. Me
fascinó sus voces y su técnica vocal. Era la música
de las grandes películas del cine americano cuando
yo era adolescente.
I’m Night and Day, como la canción “duermo muy poco”.
Crooner is a mixture of singing and jazz. It started
around the 60’s and it was a style dominated by ItaloAmericans. It has been evolving towards jazz and soul.
Current crooners have extended the musical range
but nowadays it is very difficult to go accompanied by
a band of 50 musicians as it originally was. And this is
sorely missed. Technology has minimized the musicians.
Nat King Cole, Frank Sinatra and Billie Holiday. I was
fascinated by their voices and their vocal technique.
It was the music of the great American films at the
cinema when I was a teenager.
It's an album where I felt absolutely comfortable. I
have produced it by myself and I have selected and
adapted popular songs from different countries in
the original language at the crooner style and with a
jazz Big Band. There are wonderful songs in Catalan,
Castilian, English, Italian and French. The distribution
is also my own.

El restaurante Super Tuscan Ibiza
está contento y orgulloso de agradecer a todos los clientes
que ha tenido el honor de servir en esta gran temporada
2015, sobre todo por el éxito y el reconocimiento que le
fueron concedidos.
Como muchos de vosotros saben, la nuestra es una
cocina casera preparada con pasión, respetando las
premisas de la tradición italiana y en particular de la
Toscana, una tierra rica en sabores tradicionales e
ingredientes auténticos de la más alta calidad, de donde
importamos productos directamente como fiambres,
quesos, aceite y vino siempre seleccionados por nosotros
mismos durante los meses de cierre del restaurante.
Queremos recordar el gran éxito que conoció nuestra
pasta “Malfatti” en salsa de tomate casera y albahaca
fresca y ñoquis con ragout de pollo cocinado 4 horas
a fuego lento y matizado con vino Chianti; nuestras
carnes: el filete, la “Tagliata” (carne en rodajas), el bistec
preparados de acuerdo con la antigua tradición toscana.
No podemos olvidar el reconocimiento otorgado por
nuestro público a nuestros platos de pescado de origen
ibicenco y Baleares como el tentáculo de pulpo a la
parrilla marinado con romero y en una cama de cohetes
sólo por mencionar una.
Durante estos meses hemos trabajado duro para
mantener el nivel de nuestros platos, de nuestra cortesía
y preparar mejor a nuestro personal y si a veces, por
desgracia, sobre todo en agosto, cuando la carga
de trabajo es altísima, no hemos podido satisfacer
plenamente las expectativas de algún cliente más
exigente, pedimos disculpas y esperamos tener otra
oportunidad.
Durante esta temporada hemos servido a muchísimas
personas, con muchas de las cuales ha surgido una
amistad y un respeto mutuo que probablemente durará
en el tiempo. Así que queremos agradeceros de nuevo a
todos por esta estupenda temporada juntos.

is pleased and proud to thank all the customers who
had the honour to serve in this great season 2015,
mainly because of the success and recognition that
were granted.
As many of you know, ours is a home-made cuisine
prepared with passion, respecting the premises
of the Italian tradition and particularly the one from
Tuscany, a land rich in traditional flavours and genuine
ingredients of the highest quality, from which we
directly import products as meats, cheeses, olive oil
and wine, always selected by ourselves during the
closing months of the restaurant.
We would like to remember the great success of our
pasta “Malfatti“ with homemade tomato sauce and
fresh basil, and the “Gnocchi” with chicken ragout
cooked 4 hours on a low heat and nuanced with
Chianti wine; our meats: the fillet, the “Tagliata” (sliced​​
meat), the steak, all prepared according to the ancient
Tuscan tradition. We cannot forget the recognition
granted by our audience for our fish dishes from Ibiza
and the Balearics, as the octopus tentacle marinated
with rosemary and grilled on a bed of rockets, just to
mention one.
During these months we have worked hard in order to
maintain the standard of our dishes, of our courtesy
and to better prepare our staff and, even if sometimes,
unfortunately and especially in August when the
workload is really very high, we were not able to
fully satisfy the expectations of some demanding
customer, we apologize and we hope to have another
chance.
In this season we have served a lot of people and
with many we have started a friendship and mutual
respect that will probably last over time.
We therefore want to thank all of you once again for
this amazing season together.

Esta es nuestra última edición, y quisiera aprovechar el
espacio para dar algunos consejos que puedes introducir
en tu rutina diaria y son claves para mantener una buena
salud. Transforma nuestro cuerpo, mente y espíritu
haciéndonos más conscientes de nuestros pasos.
This is our last issue, and I would like to take this
space to give some tips that you can introduce in
your daily routine and that are a key factor to maintain
good health. It transforms our body, mind and spirit
making us more aware of our steps.
AGRADECE: Intenta levantarte temprano, da las gracias
por despertarte un día mas y ver la luz del sol brillar.
THANK: Try to get up early, thank for waking up one
more day and see the sun shining.
RESPIRA: Inhala como si fuera la primera vez que lo
haces y exhala enviando todo el oxígeno a cada parte
de tu cuerpo.
BREATH: Inhale as if it was the first time you do so
and exhale sending all the oxygen to every part of
your body.
MEDÍTA: Al menos diez minutos al día. Focalízate en
tu respiración y con una sonrisa en tu cara deja que los
pensamientos se calmen. Conecta con tu voz interior.
MEDITATE: At least ten minutes per day. Focus on
your breathing and with a smile on your face let the
thoughts calm down. Connect with your inner voice.
EJERCITA: Estírate o haz yoga… mueve tu cuerpo y
siente cada engranaje del milagro del cuerpo humano.
EXERCISE: Stretch or do yoga... move your body
and feel each gear of the miracle of the human body.
HIDRÁTATE: Bebe un vaso de agua templada con
el zumo de medio limón para alcalinizar tu cuerpo y
ayudarle a eliminar toxinas. Puedes añadir también
una pizca de jengibre fresco. Bebe un vaso de
agua mineral después. Intenta beber siempre que
tu cuerpo sienta sed y antes de las comidas. La
deshidratación es una de las causas principales de
muchas enfermedades.
HYDRATE YOURSELF: Drink a glass of warm
water with the juice of half a lemon to alkalize
your body and help it to eliminate toxins. You
can also add a bit of fresh ginger. Then, drink
a glass of mineral water. Try to drink whenever
your body feels thirsty and before meals.
Dehydration is one of the major causes of many
diseases.
LIMPIA: Limpia tu lengua antes de cepillarte los
dientes. Masajéate el cuerpo con un guante de crin.
Limpia tus fosas nasales con agua de mar o suero
fisiológico. Todo esto nos ayudará a renovarnos cada

CLEAN: Clean your tongue before brushing your

Clean your nostrils with sea water or salt solution.
All this will help us to renew every day and not
accumulate waste products.
MODERACIÓN: Come con moderación alimentos frescos,
orgánicos y de temporada en la medida de lo posible. Sigue
una dieta variada y equilibrada. Come con tranquilidad y
masticando bien cada bocado. Evita las cenas pesadas.
MODERATION: Eat sparingly fresh, organic and
seasonal foods as far as possible. Follow a varied and
balanced diet. Eat calmly and chewing well every bite.
Avoid heavy dinners.

Ha salido, veinte años después del anterior, el
decimoquinto álbum de Pink Floyd "The Endless River"
(a pesar de que es un eufemismo definirlo como nuevo
dado que la mayoría de las grabaciones han permanecido
guardadas durante cuatro décadas en los archivos
privados de la banda británica). El disco me sorprendió
gratamente, por ser tan inesperado, tanto por la gran
calidad de la música como por su concepción.
It has been released, twenty years after the previous
one, the fifteenth Pink Floyd’s album "The Endless
River" (although it is an understatement to call it new
because most of the recordings were closed for four
decades in the private archives of the British). The disc
pleasantly surprised me, for being so unexpected,
both for the high quality of the music and for its
conception.
Quién conozca a Pink Floyd sabe que se pueden
definir tres épocas en la historia del grupo, marcadas
por los diferentes líderes de la banda. Los años
de debut 1965-1967 fueron capitaneados por Syd
Barrett, el diamante loco, el flautista a las puertas del
amanecer.
Anyone who knows Pink Floyd knows that you can
define three periods in the group's history, marked
by the different band leaders. The debut years 19651967 were led by Syd Barrett, the crazy diamond, the
piper at the gates of dawn.

En 1987 comienza la era con Gilmour como líder, que
había preparado dos álbumes inéditos, "A Momentary
Lapse of Reason" y "The Division Bell".
In 1987 the era with Gilmour as a leader started, as he
had prepared two unreleased albums, "A Momentary
Lapse of Reason" and "The Division Bell".
Ahora en 2015 se ha lanzado el tercero. El disco ha
sido producido con la reutilización de grabaciones
antiguas de un proyecto iniciado durante las sesiones
del álbum anterior "The Division Bell", alrededor de
1993-1994, cuando los tres supervivientes de Pink
Floyd David Gilmour, Nick Mason y Richard Wright
tocaron improvisando durante varias horas. Mason
habla de ello en su libro Inside Out y muchos fans de
la banda que esperaban que el proyecto saliera a la luz
en algún formato como los realizados para "The Wall"
y "Wish You Were Here", se sintieron decepcionados
por no encontrar material inédito en la caja.
Now in 2015 the third one was launched. The album
was produced by reusing old recordings of a project
started during the sessions of the previous album
"The Division Bell" around 1993-94, when the three
survivors of Pink Floyd, David Gilmour, Nick Mason
and Richard Wright played improvising for several
hours.
Mason talks about it in his book Inside Out and many
fans of the band who had expected that the project
came to light in some format as those made for "The
Wall" and "Wish You Were Here" were disappointed
not to find new material in the box.
La decepción no duró mucho gracias al lanzamiento
del nuevo álbum con 18 temas, todos inéditos e
instrumentales excepto uno, “Louder Than Words”,
que es también el single promocional del álbum,
producido a diez manos por Gilmour, Bob Ezrin, Andy
Jackson, Phil Manzanera y Youth.
The disappointment did not last too long thanks
to the launching of the new album with 18 songs,
all unpublished and instrumental except for one,
"Louder Than Words", which is also the promotional
single of the album, ten-hands produced by Gilmour,
Bob Ezrin, Andy Jackson, Phil Manzanera and Youth.
En conclusión, yo diría que es sin duda la mejor
producción de Pink Floyd de la época de Gilmour.
Opino que sacar de los archivos este material no era
sólo una transacción comercial, sino un merecido
homenaje al Floyd silencioso Richard Wright y un
cierre de carrera para la banda mucho más digno y
significativo de lo que se había pensado durante más
de veinte años con "The Division Bell".
In conclusion, I would say that this is definitely the
best production of Pink Floyd from Gilmour's period. I
consider that bringing this material out of the archives
was not just a business transaction but a welldeserved tribute to the silent Floyd Richard Wright
and a much more worthy and meaningful career’s
closing for the band than we had thought for over
twenty years with "The Division Bell".

Siempre he tenido gran afinidad por el arte, el diseño, la
música y el cine debido al entorno en el que me educaron
mis padres. Uno de sus amigos era fotógrafo y me dejó
su cámara, diciéndome: “Este pequeño objeto abrirá tus
ojos, tu mente y tu alma si lo utilizas de la forma adecuada”.
¡Y eso es lo que ocurrió!
I have always had a great affinity for art, design, music and
film due to the environment in which my parents brought
me up. One of their friends was a photographer and he left
me his camera, telling me “This little thing will open your
eyes, your mind and your soul if you use it in the right way”.
And that’s what happened!

My personal work has always been inspired by

Mi gran pasión todavía son los retratos por el íntimo
momento que puedes alcanzar con un absoluto extraño
en un período muy corto de tiempo. El resultado es
siempre fascinante y algo de ese encuentro se queda
contigo… en el mejor de los casos viceversa.
Empecé a sentirme fascinado por el mundo náutico
durante un viaje navegando hace unos años. Desde
entonces, mi segunda pasión son los retratos de yates.
My big passion are still portraits because of the intimate
moment that you can achieve with a total stranger in a very
short period of time. The result is always fascinating and
something of that encounter stays with you… in the best
case vice versa.
I started being fascinated by the nautical world when I
during a sailing trip a few years ago. Since then my second
passion are portraits of yachts.

La idea de Imago Navis me vino durante una maravillosa
vuelta a vela a través del Mediterráneo. Fue allí donde
descubrí mi pasión por el mundo de la vela. Estaba
tomando fotos del yate de un amigo al atardecer y a él
le gustaron tanto que me pidió imprimirlas en papel de
alta calidad y enmarcarlas. Después de que otros amigos
vieran las fotos, me pidieron de hacer lo
mismo con sus yates. Fue entonces cuando
decidí hacer negocio con esto y crear la
empresa.
The idea for Imago Navis came to me on a fantastic sailing
tour through the Mediterranean .
It was there where I discovered my passion for the
yachting-world. I was taking pictures of a friend’s yacht
during the sunset and he loved them so much that he
asked me to print them out on fine art paper and frame
them. After seeing the pictures other friends asked me to
do the same of their yachts.
That’s when I decided to make a business out of it and
create the company.

¿De dónde eres?
Where are you from?
¿Cuál es tu profesión?
What is your profession?
Soy de Mantua, pero hace un año me mudé al
extranjero, primero a Barcelona y luego a Ibiza para
la temporada de verano.
De un año a esta parte soy fotógrafo y realizador
de vídeos a tiempo completo, soy licenciado en
Ingeniería ambiental y del territorio, y hasta agosto de
2014 estaba a cargo de una empresa de alimentos.
Entonces, debido a la crisis, decidí mudarme al
extranjero y tratar de convertir una pasión por las
fotos y vídeos en un trabajo real que ya ejerzo desde
hace casi 10 años.
I am from Mantua, but a year ago I moved abroad,
first to Barcelona and later to Ibiza for the summer
season.
Over the last year I'm a full time photographer and
video producer, I have a degree in environmental
and territory Engineering and until August 2014
I was in charge of a food company. Later, due to
the crisis, I decided to go abroad and try to turn
the passion that I had for photos and videos into
a proper work, that I have been practising now for
almost 10 years.

Glam Staff nació en 2009, cuando me fui de un grupo de
chicos con el que trabajé durante años. Inicialmente ofrecí
también servicios de relaciones públicas, pero en el plazo
de pocos meses empecé a centrarse sólo en fotografía
y grabación de vídeo, ya que el mundo de las relaciones
públicas con la llegada de todas estas tecnologías era
totalmente cambiado y ya no me sentía identificado con ello.
Glam Staff was born in 2009, when I left a band
of guys that I’ve worked with for years. Initially I
was also offered public relations, but within a few
months I began to focus only on photography and
video shooting, since the world of public relations
was totally changed with the arrival of all these
technologies and I no longer felt identified with it.
Realmente muchos, pero el más importante es sin
duda una nueva red social de música, totalmente
diferente de las ya existentes, que se llamará
Instasound, a la que pertenezco como socio y director
de marketing. No puedo decir nada más por ahora,
estamos trabajando desde hace mucho tiempo,
pero queremos que sea perfecto para satisfacer a
aquellos que decidan utilizarlo inmediatamente.
I have many, but the most important one is
undoubtedly a new social network about music,
totally different from the existing ones, that will be
called Instasound, where I am partner and marketing
manager. I can’t tell you more for now; we have
been working on it for a long time, but we want it
to be perfect to satisfy those who decide to use it
immediately.

Es mi primera temporada en 34 años. Siempre había
venido como máximo 10 días de vacaciones, pero
decimos que sólo viviendo aquí durante cinco meses me
di cuenta de cómo la isla está cambiando totalmente.
En mi opinión, todo el lujo que ha llegado y que sigue
aumentando no tiene nada que ver con la cultura de club,
mis géneros favoritos de música y la "isla". Pero no se
puede dejar de amarla y es una experiencia maravillosa,
pero sobre todo, Ibiza no es sólo locales, hay tantísimas
cosas para ver y apreciar.
It is my first season in 34 years. I always came for
maximum 10 days on vacation but I must say that
only by living here for five months I realized how
the island is totally changing. In my opinion, all the
luxury that has arrived and that continues to increase,
has nothing to do with the club culture, my favourite
music genres and the "island". But you cannot stop
loving it and it is a wonderful experience, yet above
all, Ibiza is not just venues, there are so many things
to see and to appreciate.

Obviamente Night, si ves mi "bronceado" lo
entenderás (tono de humor) y como dice

El 29 de julio fue lanzado oficialmente Windows 10, la
nueva versión del sistema operativo de Microsoft. La
actualización es gratuita durante un año para todos
aquellos que poseen una licencia válida de Windows
7 o Windows 8.
Se trata de una actualización que va cambiar muchas
cosas, mejorando el sistema operativo. En primer
lugar, vemos el regreso del botón Inicio, que había
desaparecido con Windows 8. El menú en cuestión
es una mezcla entre el botón Inicio normal y la interfaz
Metro que habíamos conocido en Windows 8. A un
lado se encuentra la lista habitual de programas,
mientras que en el otro se encuentran los iconos,
intercambiables a voluntad.
Con esta versión de Windows hace su aparición
Cortana, un asistente virtual que nos ayudará en
nuestra vida diaria con el ordenador. De hecho,
podemos pedirle cosas diversas; tales como qué
tiempo hará mañana, fijar una cita en la agenda o
simplemente utilizarlo para buscar algo en nuestro
PC o en la Web. Podemos dirigirnos a Cortana
directamente con nuestra voz o, de una manera más
clásica, a través del teclado.
On 29th July it was officially launched Windows
10, the new version of Microsoft's operating
system. The update is free for one year for all
those owning a valid license of Windows 7 or
Windows 8.
This is an update that will change many things,
improving the operating system. First of all,
we see the return of the Start button that had
disappeared with Windows 8. The menu at
issue is a mixture of normal Start button and
the Metro interface in Windows 8. Aside there
is the usual list of programs, while on the other
side there are interchangeable icons by your
own will.
With this Windows version, Cortana arises, a
virtual assistant that will help us in our daily
life with the computer. In fact, we can request
different things; such as what will be the
weather tomorrow, fixing an appointment on
the agenda or just using it to look for something
on your PC or on the Web. We can address
Cortana directly with our voice or, in a more
conventional manner, with the keyboard.
Con esta actualización también se ha hecho un
rediseño de todas las diversas aplicaciones del
sistema. Ahora nos encontramos con el nuevo
navegador de Internet llamado Edge, un nuevo
programa para el Correo, un nuevo calendario y
mucho más. Pero lo que este nuevo sistema operativo
ha cambiado es, sin duda, nuestra aproximación
a los programas y aplicaciones. De esta manera,
nuestro PC se está pareciendo cada vez más a los
Smartphones, tanto en su uso como en su instalación.
Al hacer esto, Microsoft está tratando de dar forma
a la computadora, PC o tablet con un único sistema
operativo y, respecto al PC, se puede decir que lo ha
conseguido. En noviembre, se lanzará la versión para
Smartphones y sólo entonces podremos apreciar el
potencial del ecosistema Windows en su totalidad.
Mientras tanto, Windows 10 ha alcanzado grandes
cifras en muy poco tiempo; se habla de casi 24
millones de descargas en sólo 24 horas,
¡un éxito para Microsoft!
With this update a redesign of all the varied
system applications was made. Now we find
the new web browser called Edge, a new
program for the Mail, a new calendar and much
more. But, what this new operating system
has changed is undoubtedly our approach to
programs and applications. In this way our PC
is looking more and more like a Smartphone,
both in use and installation. By doing so,
Microsoft is trying to shape the computer, PC
or tablet with a single operating system and,
for what concerns the PC, I can say that it
was successful. In November, the version for
Smartphone will be launched and only then we
will be able to appreciate the potential of the
Windows ecosystem as a whole.
Meanwhile, Windows 10 has reached large
numbers in a short time; there are reports of
near 24 million download in just 24 hours, a
success for Microsoft!

Samuel es español y ha vivido durante años en Es Viver, el
barrio en el que trabajamos. Se trabajará para satisfacer las
necesidades de todos. Haremos entrega a domicilio: pizza, pollo,
ensaladas, hamburguesas, paella...
¿Cómo describirías el ambiente en tu local? Cambia
durante la temporada de invierno? No. Vamos a utilizar
al máximo el espacio interior, pero si el clima es benévolo,
la terraza estará abierta.

Are you going to be open this winter? Yes. We thought
about it since the day we opened, last 16th May. The season
has been a very good and positive one but we want to work
for the Spaniards, residents in Ibiza. We live here, apart from
the company, cohabitation is important.
Opening hours and days. Closing period: We are
studying the idea of opening during lunchtime and dinnertime
from Monday to Friday, the whole day on weekends. The
closure period will be in January.
New winter menu or specialties: Our chef Samuel is
Spanish and he has lived for several years at Es Vive, the
neighbourhood where we work. We will work to meet the
needs of everybody. We will do delivery service with: pizza,
chicken, salads, burgers, paella...
How would you describe the ambiance in winter
time? We will use as much as possible the inner space, but
if the weather is mild, the terrace will be open.

Este libro trata sobre las aventuras de dos hermanos, Laura
y Eloy, durante sus vacaciones de verano en la mediterránea
isla de Ibiza. Los niños viven con sus padres en la pintoresca
Cala San Vicente, junto al tío Toni. Ajenos a cualquier
preocupación vivirán, junto a su inseparable amigo “Hippie”,
el perro de la familia, unas vacaciones maravillosas.
Su viaje les llevará también a las cercanas islas de
Formentera y Tagomago, donde sus ojos de niños
descubrirán secretos ocultos a la vista de los demás.
This book tells the adventures of brother and sister
Eloy and Laura during their summer holidays on the
Mediterranean isle of Ibiza. With their family and
their uncle Toni, together with “Hippie” the dog, they
live a wonderfully carefree summer holiday in the
picturesque village of Cala San Vicente.
During their stay they also visit the neighboring islands
of Formentera and Tagomago, where wonderful
secrets will be revealed only to their young eyes.

La autora de la obra vive al norte de Ibiza desde
que por primera vez, hace muchos años, la isla la
cautivara. Tal y como ella afirma: “Ibiza es un lugar
muy especial, capaz de sorprenderte continuamente”.
El lugar que vio nacer los primeros relatos infantiles
fue la propia Cala San Vicente. Hace algunos años,
la escritora compuso pequeñas historias individuales,
en las que los niños eran los héroes de sus propias
aventuras, y de las que aprendían algo nuevo casi sin
querer. Estas historias dejan volar la fantasía de los
pequeños lectores, sin caer en el irrealismo.
Durante la creación de los relatos, algunos amigos de
la autora la animaron a dar el paso a la publicación.
¡Dicho y hecho!
En diciembre de 2012, la Universidad de las Islas
Baleares, en Palma de Mallorca, publicó estas
primeras historias en su libro “Hola Ibiza” , en su
versión en catalán. Hoy, las obras ya están disponibles
también en alemán y castellano.
Con la recaudación obtenida de la venta de los libros,
Kim Lolipop apoya diferentes proyectos infantiles de
Manos Unidas.

Ever since our authoress first set foot on the island,
in her own words, she has been spellbound by the
magic of Ibiza which she describes as a very special
place that never ceases to surprise her.
It was here, in Cala San Vicente, where she began
writing children´s stories. A few years back, she
created a number of short stories in which the children
were the heroes of their own adventures and always,
unknowingly, learnt something new. The narration
enables young readers to follow their fantasies in a
very natural way.
During the creation process, friends of the author
encouraged her to publish the stories. No sooner said
than done!
In December of 2012, the Universidad of Islas
Baleares, in Palma de Mallorca, published these first
few stories in the book “Hello Ibiza”, in Catalan. Today,
the work is also available in German and Spanish.
Proceeds of the book will go towards
several projects in benefit of children
which Kim Lolipop supports together
with Manos Unidas.

I would like to use Mapi’s space in our magazine to tell
you about my experience and to thank Mapi&Rafa for
the invitation. (1)

El año pasado empezamos nuestra colaboración con
Depura Ibiza que arrancaba como nuevo proyecto en la isla
como Centro de Retiros de Yoga y de Detox, en un lugar
único en medio de la naturaleza de nuestra maravillosa
isla. Personalmente sólo este mes de julio he podido de
verdad disfrutar de los servicio ofrecidos por Mapi&Rafa y
desconectar unos días después de un inicio de temporada
bestial. Depura Ibiza se encuentra en una villa entre San
José y San Antonio. Nada más llegar respiras un aire más
bueno y sobre todo te olvidas del calor y la humedad
veraniega. Además se puede disfrutar de una vista única
a 360° donde puedes ver el mar, la bahía de San Antonio y
todo el verde de Benimussa. (2)
Last year we started our collaboration with Depura
Ibiza that was beginning its new project on the island
as Retreat Centre of Yoga and Detox, in a unique
location in the middle of our wonderful island’s nature.
Personally, this month of July I could really enjoy the
services offered by Mapi&Rafa and get a few days off
after a brutal start of season. Depura Ibiza is located
in a villa between San Jose and San Antonio. Upon
arrival, you breathe a better air and most of all you
forget about the heat and humidity of the summer.
Furthermore, you can enjoy a unique 360​° view where
you can see the sea, San Antonio bay and all around
the green of Benimussa. (2)

Aprovechad ahora en septiembre y octubre porque
el centro Depura Ibiza organiza nuevos retiros extra
para le gente de la isla gracias a la demanda. He
podido disfrutar de una cocina biológica que desde la
mañana (con un rico desayuno con super alimentos,
frutas y cereales junto con batidos e infusiones)
hasta la noche, con una comida al mediodía sanísima
y una crema especial cada cena, nos daba toda la
energía y es una buenísima sensación. Saben comer
alimentos sanos y con recetas únicas. Agradecemos
a Marguerite y a Ana las cocineras del centro por la
fantástica nutrición (según es cocina macrobiótica o

Take advantage now in September and October
because the Depura Ibiza centre organizes new
extra retreats for people on the island, thanks to the
demand. I could enjoy a biological cooking from the
morning (with a delicious breakfast with super foods,
fruits and cereals along with smoothies and teas) to
the night, with a very healthy lunch at midday and a
special cream every dinner, that gave us all energy
and that’s a very good feeling. They know how to eat
healthy food and unique recipes. We thank Marguerite
and Ana, the cooks of the centre, for this fantastic
nourishment (as it is macrobiotic or raw-vegan

Estábamos en buena compañía porque Depura Ibiza

Cada día había actividades diferentes, el primer día
salimos del centro por asistir a un Temazcal (hemos
tenido suerte de llegar el día de luna llena). También
fuimos a una cala escondida e hicimos una sesión
de Chakra Cleaning. Inolvidable fue la puesta del sol
y la vista desde el tejado de la villa, donde pudimos
mirar el mar y el sol con sus colores y oír de lejos los
tambores de Benirrás. (8)
Every day there were different activities, the first day
we left the centre to attend a Temazcal (we were
lucky to arrive on the full moon day). We also went
to a hidden cove and we made a session of Chakra
Cleaning. The sunset and the view from the roof of
the villa were unforgettable, and from there we could
watch the sea and the sun with its colours and hear at
a long distance the drums from Benirrás. (8)
Seguramente el punto fuerte de esta experiencia ha sido
desconectar por unos días del mundo y conectar conmigo
mismo y poder elegir utilizar mi tiempo para también sólo
sentarme y admirar la naturaleza que tenía a mi alrededor.
Surely the major asset of this experience has been to
disconnect during a few days from the world and to
connect with myself, and to be able to use my time to
just sit and admire nature that was around me.

Para mí es la isla de Peter Pan; bajas del ferry
de "Caronte" que ha dejado atrás el "infierno"
de Ibiza, con todos sus demonios tentadores y
sus magas Circe y desembarcas en la isla que
no está allí... Y como en el cuento de Peter Pan
entras en un mundo fantástico, donde todo
puede suceder. En el momento en que te bajas
del barco, tu cuerpo se llena de una energía
positiva increíble y el perfume que te rodea no
lo percibes con la nariz sino con los ojos... te

Buongiorno a tutti i lettori di N&D pronti a leggere
il secondo articolo su Formentera.Per me è l'isola
dei Peter Pan; scendi dal traghetto di "Caronte"
che ha lasciato "l'inferno" Ibiza con tutti i suoi
diavoli tentatori e le sue maghe Circe e approdi
nell'isola che non c'è… E come nella favola di
Peter Pan entri in un mondo fantastico, dove
tutto può succedere. Nel momento in cui scendi
dalla barca il tuo corpo si carica di un'energia
positiva pazzesca e il profumo che ti circonda
non lo senti con il naso ma con gli occhi… ti
accorgi che il tuo sogno si sta avverando e
capisci che in pochi chilometri possono trovarsi
tutte le risposte che cercavi…
1982, año de mis 20 años. En el cine causa furor
"Rambo". Las bandas sonoras son de Michael
Jackson, Madonna, Duran Duran y nuestro
exponente es Eros Ramazzotti. Ganamos el
Mundial de fútbol al vencer a los alemanes 3 a 1
en Madrid... y luego con un grupo de amigos y mi
BMW R 45 salimos hacia España, ¡OLÉ! ¡Qué viaje
mítico! Cada persona que te encontrabas gritaba
"italiano campeón del mundo." En aquella época
nos gustaban el baloncesto y el surf, nuestro sueño
era revivir las míticas películas "El gran miércoles"
y "El largo verano", dos películas de culto sobre
el surf. Estando ante la estatua de Colón en el
puerto de Barcelona "Oye tíos, vámonos a Ibiza" y,
finalmente, subir en el barco y llegar a Ibiza... ¡qué
bonito!... People from Ibiza... Ibiza wonderland...
Pero al fondo veo otra isla... llamándonos...
dejamos las motos, nos embarcamos a pie en un
ferry desvencijado y después de aproximadamente
una hora y media bajamos, alquilamos dos bicis
(de una conservo incluso la matrícula) y vamos a
descubrir este Edén. Han pasado 30 años, en ese
tiempo he tenido dos hermosos hijos y hemos
vuelto a ser campeones del mundo... pero la
pequeña Formentera sigue siendo mi novia TAAAC

tricolore è Eros Ramazzotti. Allora vincevamo
i mondiali di calcio battendo i tedeschi 3 a 1 a
Madrid… e allora con un gruppo di amici e la mia
BMW R 45 siamo partiti per la Spagna, OLÉ! Che
viaggio mitico! Ogni persona che incontravi urlava
"italiano campione del mondo". In quel periodo
eravamo amanti del basket e del surf, il nostro
sogno era ripercorrere i mitici film "Mercoledì da
leoni" e "La lunga estate", due cult movie sul surf.
Siamo davanti alla statua di Colombo il porto di
Barcellona "oh raga (ragazzi) si va a Ibiza daiii" e
finalmente si sale sulla nave e si arriva a Ibiza…che
bello! …People from Ibiza… Ibiza wonderland…
Ma sullo sfondo vedo un'altra isola… che ci
chiama… lasciamo le moto, ci imbarchiamo a piedi
su un traghetto sgangherato e dopo circa un'ora
e mezza scendiamo, affittiamo due bici (di una
conservo ancora la targa) e andiamo alla scoperta
di questo Eden. Son passati 30 anni, nel mentre
ho avuto due bellissimi bambini e siamo diventati
ancora campioni del mondo…ma la piccola
Formentera è ancora la mia fidanzata TAAAC

Pero luego, se ve a los turistas tirar colillas en la playa,
montar en scooters tratando de molestar lo más posible o,
incluso, gente que no se da cuenta de estar en un lugar
mágico (y delicado).
Poi però, si vedono turisti lasciare mozziconi di sigaretta
sulla spiaggia, guidare gli scooter cercando di disturbare
il più possibile o, additittura, gente che non si rende
conto di trovarsi in un luogo magico (e delicato).

talleres, conferencias, encuentros con los operadores de
Formentera y con invitados internacionales que se ocupen
de materias espirituales y holísticas.

di FORMENTERA ZEN. Dal 4 all’11 ottobre, una
settimana di workshop, conferenze, appuntamenti con
gli operatori di Formentera e con ospiti internazionali
che si occupano di materie spirituali e olistiche.
Gracias a las colaboraciones del organismo de Turismo de
Formentera y el Govern de les Illes Balears, y de muchos
amantes auténticos de la isla, Formentera ZEN espera ser
una nueva cita para los que aman Formentera como si fuera
uno de la familia...
La madrina del evento es Clara Castellotti.

Formentera e del Governo delle Baleari, e di molti
veri amanti dell’isola, Formentera ZEN si augura di
