- From 1982 to 1993 I worked as a freelance photographer and then I became a
member and founder of the photographic agency MIGUELEZ SPORTS FOTO, where
I’ve been in charge of training other photographers.
- In July of 2007, I sold the trademark MIGUELEZ SPORTS FOTO and the
domain name www.miguelezsports.com to the agency CORDÓN PRESS, with whom
I worked as a sports photographer and consultant for three years.

- Other photo reports include adventure sports like speleology, rock and ice
climbing, extreme skiing, rafting, bungee jumping, hang-gliding, trekking, which have

- As a Teacher of Sports Photography at CEV (Centro de Estudios del Vídeo y la
Imagen) since 1990. I have lectured on sports and adventure photography. One of these
lectures took place at Art College or the University of Alcalá de Henares.
- As the winner of several prestigious contests on sports photography, in all
aspects, I have exhibited my works at different places.
- I have been the organizer of the photo exhibition “Momentos deportivos
madrileños” (Madrid sports moments). It consisted of 50 historic photos of Madrid’s
sports highlights since 1900. It is supported by “Comunidad de Madrid” in 2013.
- In 1987, I started to collaborate with the french graphic agency TEMPSPORT. I
provided them with copies of my work to be sold and delivered all over the world. In
1991, as something unique in Spain, I set up my own sports photo agency “TEMP
SPORT ESPAÑA”. I gathered some of my friends who shared and supported my
project. I taught them how to take sports photos as they are taken in other foreign
agencies. So I released and sold our work away and abroad by means of another
company.
- At the beginning of 1993 I became completely independent by setting up TEMP
SPORT MIGUELEZ Ltd, and later on, by registering it in the Patent and Trademark
Office, the trademark MIGUELEZ SPORTS FOTO. This name, which was purchased
by another agency, was used to market all our image bank for 15 years. During that
time, it was the only press agency exclusively devoted to sports photography in all its
different disciplines: Football, Athletics, Basketball, Gymnastics, Martial Arts,
Adventure and Extreme Sports, Motorcycling, Car Racing, Handball, Tennis, Golf, etc.
- In 1995, with the exhibition of our photographs in high quality format to sell
them away through the Internet, I took a great step ahead, once again a pioneering move
in Spain to provide better service to my clients. In this sense I have had some journalists
writing for international sports sites. Thanks to this and the photo quality, I was not
only represented worldwide, but I also represented some of the top sports photo
agencies to market their images in Spain. Thousands of photos could be seen and

- Until July 2007, I worked both as a photographer, and manager of my agency.
I managed some photographers as permanent contributors and others spread in Spain
and abroad as temporary contributors; I also managed staff in charge of photo
marketing, international relations, the analogic photography laboratory, storage photo
digitalization, photo edition, etc.
- In July of 2007, I sold the trademark MIGUELEZ SPORTS FOTO and the
domain name www.miguelezsports.com to the agency CORDÓN PRESS, with whom
I worked as a photographer and consultant on sports images for three years.
- In 2009, apart from the sporting and advertising events that I covered, I travelled
across 8 African countries for 7 months, as the official photographer of the project
FOOTBALL-DREAMS AFRICA, supported by ASPIRE ACADEMY from Qatar. I
took photographs in villages and small towns searching for talented football children
and teenagers. Publishing a picture book about this project: ASPIRE FOOTBALL
DREAMS.
- Nowadays I work exclusively from my own agency “TEMP SPORT
MIGUELEZ”.
