Black Gold Natural & Organic Potting Soil is a multi-purpose soil that’s great for
houseplants, patio containers and hanging baskets. Our Black Gold Natural &
Organic soil includes earthworm castings, Canadian Sphagnum peat moss and
perlite to ensure excellent pore and air space.
Using Black Gold®
Potting Soil
Select a container just large enough to line the bottom
with 2-3 inches of Black Gold® and still have room to cover the
root system. Partially cover the drain hole with rocks or pieces
of broken clay pot, and then add those 2-3 inches of soil.

• Plants will benefit from a regular feeding program. After planting using Black Gold Natural &
Organic Potting Soil, water two (2) times before beginning a feeding program. Time of year,
temperature and type of plant will affect fertilizer requirements. Consult your local garden center
or plant guide to determine a year round feeding program that meets your specific plant’s needs.
BACK PRINT
• Water by touch, not by sight. If the mix feels dry, water until the water runs out of the bottom of
the pot. Drain any excess water.
FRONT PRINT
• Close bag after use to keep the mix moist.
